These dramatic ass lawyers can't just get those matching friendship bracelets with broken heart charms or smth (ok yes ik they have the phone charms in the anime but shhh), noooo, they gotta put together two pieces of evidence in court to make a whole drawing, and then use it to convict the real murderer.
Istg touch grass that hasn't had a vital piece of evidence hidden in it once in your goddamn lives you funky gay lawyers.

Thinking about the fact that DL-6 was so close to Christmas so one of three things happened Post-DL-6
1. Baby Miles never got to open his Christmas gifts from his dad.
2. Modern Miles has a pile of unopened Christmas gifts.
3. (The most sad, in my opinion) baby Miles had to open up all his Christmas gifts, knowing they were from his dead dad.

This has probably been said already but can I just say how interesting it is that both Phoenix and Apollo's debut games are structured the same way in terms of "protagonist is not the main character." Of course Phoenix and Apollo are the protagonists in their respective games, but they aren't the main character.
In aa1, Miles Edgeworth is the main character, and the overarching story revolves around him. Phoenix drives the plot, but Edgeworth is the focal point of the narrative. Sure, Phoenix's story as a rookie lawyer is there, but aa1 heavily centralizes on Miles' history and growing character development.
In the same fashion, aa4 is not centered around Apollo, but instead focuses on Phoenix's story about the Enigmar trial and exposing Kristoph. Apollo is quite literally the vessel used to drive the plot, as Phoenix uses him to act on his plans. The narrative is focal on Phoenix, Kristoph, and the events that led to the time of aa4 (+dark age of law).
They parallel each other in their respective games, and it's cool to see.

The second case of ace attorney. That bellboy saying outright that Edgeworth was witness tampering. Edgeworth’s reaction I love it.
