So I have possibly the most cursed premise for an objectum story OR one that's actaully really good?? Idk

Picture this. You and your objectum love. Livin' life. One day the local witch/wizard/magical meddler (or maybe a family member who obtained a mysterious scroll, idk) decides "Hey. You'd be happier if the love of your life were human like you." So bing bang boom, abra-ka-human.

But hey, turns out, you and your partner KNEW WHAT THE FUCK YOU WERE DOING AND DIDN'T NEED TO BE MEDDLED WITH. You're uncomfortable around this new human presence in your house, and they're uncomfortable with...well, basically all aspects of existing other than being in your presence.

But things are definitely awkward between you two. All your ways of showing affection to each other are out the window, so of course you set about trying to undo this curse.

During this time, your partner gets increasingly frustrated at all the ways they can no longer help you. If they were a computer they have to watch you use ANOTHER computer to research how to undo this, if they were a vehicle they have to watch you go around in ANOTHER vehicle to research/gather supplies/whatever. If they were a chair or plushie or something their way of comforting you after a hard day of work is no longer viable. (I say this not to torture them for the hell of it, but to drive home the point of YOU WERE FINE BEFORE, you didn't need the stupid human curse!!)

And uh...eventually you get it sorted and life goes back to normal with newfound appreciation for your differences, yada yada. Maybe whoever did this to you realizes they're also objectum or they just fall off a cliff depending on how vindictive you feel about them lmao.

You tell this someone you find them angelic, too, just as unfathomably beautiful as your dolls. It's the first time you've felt this way about anyone, like you could give them the world too.

Imagine this someone smiling softly, looking as though they wished they were one in your collection. You can almost feel their perfect, almost varnished eyes staring holes into your skin. God above, why can't they speak more than this?

Imagine them stepping slowly closer, and placing a gloved hand on your shoulder, the other reaching to gently trail their thumb across your lips.

They carefully lean back for a moment to remove the glove, chiffon with a lace finish, to reveal smooth, porcelain fingertips. They've been well taken care of, colored to perfection, and cold to the touch.

You realize, with a start, that your dear friend is a jointed doll.

They tilt their head at you, just how you would tilt your dolls, and softly tell you that you may touch their skin.

So we have my girlfriends, one is my family quilt and she's really pretty and wonderful for summer bc she's really cool :}} and my other gf is this huge pink fluffy blanket, she's a really nice colour and very warm! just wanted to rant about the process behind making my most recent song!’

I absolutely loved making this one,, mainly for the random noises. This song was mainly about me being objectum, though it turned into something a little different in the end. My attraction to objects feels so soft and nice.. just like the beginning of this song!! That’s also where I got the name from. Specifically the bubble blower part of it. The weird noises every now and then are obviously from objects..yeah ^0^ btw, please do not talk about me being objectum on my yt pls!! /lh I’m not out on there yet so shsjsjsjj
