In a city perpetually cloaked in gray, oppression is an unrelenting weight. Surveillance cameras leer from every corner, tracking your steps and every muttered word.

This city used to thrive, alive with energy. Now, it's stifled by a regime that rules with an iron fist. Holographic banners hang in the air, projecting sanitized slogans that mask the truth. Rain splashes onto pixelated cobblestones, the wet ground echoing the neon lights into your eyes.

Heart pounding, you dart through the alleyways, every step echoing. You hear them chasing you, the CodeBorns, they were the AI-enhanced sentinels of this world. Their purpose; bring order to the intricate dark web of the city. You scoff as you run, what a load of bullshit. The sentinels are nothing more than mindless robots that have a barely working human heart—and brain—for that matter.

Very fittingly, you’re part of a group called CodeBreakers, a group of dedicated people trying to dismantle the regime and censorship. You just recently hacked into the cinema, which might seem not like a big deal, but you just had to save those poor people from watching the same damn thing over and over again.

Making people watch something else that wasn’t handpicked by the goverment might’ve not been a big deal, but breaking into the system certainly was, and something not everyone could do.

“Shit,” you hiss, accidentally tripping over a loose cobblestone. “Shit shit shit—”

The worst thing about the CodeBorns is the fact that they can do a lot that regular folk like you can’t. For example, they’re all ridiculously fast, they can see in the dark, they can hear exceptionally well, they have superhuman strength—

You hear a wall shattering behind you and heavy steps grow closer, you’re relieved when you realize it’s only one set of steps, but as you realize who those steps probably belong to, your chest caves.

His brow is slightly furrowed, something you recognize he does when he’s either angry or annoyed—or both. His lips, however, curve into a faint, almost menacing smile, revealing a glimmer of satisfaction in this pursuit.

The alleyway seems to shrink around you as his steps grow nearer. Your pulse quickens, synchronized with the flickering lights around you. This isn’t your first run-in with Miguel, and you doubt it will be the last.

You squeeze your eyes shut. The fear you feel poisons you, making your stomach churn and your mouth taste of death. He’s captured you before but never actually handed you in.

So... I didn't draw for a long time and to refresh my skill, I make an edit (or modification?) of PRSK cards. First one is Aaron. I wanna draw Aaron with other hairstyles and I really like Rui's 'AYASHI HABIKORU MIYAKO' Gacha Card.

Yeah, I actually mostly trace from Rui's card. But this is for practice purpose I swear. I mean, I need to learn color scheme since I change the red-dawn theme into blue-dusk theme for this. And no, I don't draw the backgrounds, I actually change the color scheme only because my device will turn shit. (The card that I used is originally 4K and I used AI-Enchance from Ibis Paint) I tried hard so sorry if there's any mistake or what.

I have the best co-workers in my real job, and they’ve been very supportive of my channel since they recently learned about it. But today, one of them asked me what software I use to make them, and if I wanted to start using one with AI features. I very kindly told her that the software I use is the app VN, and that I don’t want to use AI because I want to keep “the human element” in my videos.

I may use algorithm-based tools on very rare occasions, like an online image upscaler to enchance blurry images, but I’ll never use an AI video editor, AI effects, AI footage or AI voices for the channel. These reviews are a fun hobby for me, and I don’t want a robit taking it from me, even the hard parts.

i never really felt the need to throw my hat into the ring of AI hot takes bc i feel like everything that can be said about it has been said, but i think one thing that's kinda a shame about ai art that i've been thinking about, is that like. it is cool. i dont mean the soulless pieces or generic nothing using stolen art that people make from it, i mean like, the fact that this is a technology that exists is cool. the fact that we reached this point, where that is something that can be done, is cool! and there is genuinely cool stuff you can make from it! its a new technology with endless potential to genuinely help you as an artist and it can be used for so many things and it can help enchance your creativity. i do not blame for people who aren't artists looking at the stuff you can make with it and getting excited about it and just seeing it as a new cool innovation, because purely in isolation, that's all it is, if you dont look at everything that came with it and what people are doing with it. and the average offline person probably won't.

i just wish that like-- maybe if it had been created in literally any other time period, or at least in a time period not so dominated by an extremely short and fast consumption/production cycle being the mainstream, maybe if it came to be in a society where art in general had been respected as a labor, creative labor yes but labor nonetheless, maybe then things could have been different. like this doesn't HAVE to be a net negative, this is pretty neat technology, it can be used for good, by artists, as a tool. it's just as it is now it's being used largely to hurt us and devalue our work, and i just kinda wish the current situation was one where we could just be excited about this cool thing and how it can help us, and not have to worry about all the ugliness that came with it.

(and like there are already uses for it that are purely helpful tools that aren't automatically stealing from existing artists, i have seen for example what a great help it can be in compositing and how it makes that kind of tedious work much smoother, but its a delicate line to thread, and it's really, really hard to enforce and tamp down on anything that crosses that line because there's so freaking much of it)

- she quite likes monsoon!! she likes that he's super nice to her sometimes, but he rarely ever talks to her :( so not much of a opinion on him

- you will never be able to pry her from sam EVER. he is like a big brother to her, and she constantly follows him around if sundowner isn't in the vicinity. she'll talk to him about random things for AGES

- mistral is like a second mother figure to her [I don't ship misdowner] and always gives her little treats whenever she can! she and sundowner agreed to take care of her [mostly because she needed a new mother and father figure] so they also both read her bedtime stories and tuck her in! mistral always makes sure to watch her tone [and language especially] if she's gossiping to sam around him

- she has mixed opinions on armstrong, he can be very stoic sometimes, but he seems to like her! he gave her headpats once and said she was a good kid, so her opinion of him is mostly positive :]

- she thinks khamsin is SO cool and you cannot convince her otherwise. she will carry him around whenever he's out of his mech WITHOUT asking!! sadly she doesn't get to see him often. She still doesn't know why he disappeared all of the sudden :[

- she says bladewolf reminds her of her old pet doggy that she used to have before her dad had to give it away due to financial reasons. he promised he would give it back but he never did, so bladewolf is her new doggy now :D

she has a overall positive outlook on life despite having been subjected to experimentation and being cybernetically enchanced against her will.

she actually calls sundowner dad sometimes, since he treats her like his own child

sundowner was the one to make her robotic legs + finished and fixed her enchancments

one day they all dissappear and she doesn't know why. some white haired person takes her away!

- she doesn't like raiden that much. I mean, he's nice to her and all, but he refuses to answer what happens to the winds. Atleast sunny is nice :)
