It is actually so weird to hear a native German speaker doing the voice of a German character. I'm so used to hearing some butchered, badly pronounced German in su h games. It is kinda off-putting that the weird English pronunciation isn't there. But of course, it still got the hint of the typical German accent in the English parts, tho as a native German speaker myself, I barely notice that.

I still wonder why they keep adding some German stuff in those sentences. No one speaks like that... Or am I the weird one and have to add some more German words when I speak English?

What other characters on gzsz do you like?

I must say I really like Nina. She is so funny, beautiful, a caring mother, a good friend and sister and we've seen her in her darkest places. She's very strong and a fighter. I really like that about her :) And Laura she's very complicated but also very likeable although that she sometimes goes over the edge. I also liked Shirin (sadly she left the series)

I actually continually find it fascinating that Arknights seems to tell its voice actors way more about the characters than you normally hear about. like, i think about how often you hear stories about most of the time you hear stories about voice actors not even knowing what game they're in. compare to Atilla Akinci talking about how he initially found Ebenholz annoying as hell, but slowly found the tragedy in Ebenholz the more and more of Lingering Echoes he read. or Martha Mackintosh having like, a shockingly in-depth summary of Reed's character despite audibly having no interest in the game.

The South Korean Air Force is launching the "F-15K performance improvement project" to improve radar systems and increase the long-range mission capabilities of its F-15K fighters.

The Defense Security Committee recently approved an acquisition plan to advance the project through foreign purchases, specifically the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program, the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) said in a statement on Friday.

The updates are expected to allow the F-15K to identify and attack targets, ensuring stable operational conditions, crucial for extended missions.

The project, scheduled from 2024 to 2034, has a total budget of approximately US$ 2.89 billion.

Boeing unveiled plans in December 2023 to comprehensively upgrade South Korea's F-15K fleet. The improvement initiative targets three main areas: the installation of the advanced AN/APG-82 radar, reinforcing the cabin display capabilities and integrating the electronic warfare suite 'Eagle Passive/Active Warning and Survivability System' (EPAWS).

The decision to invest heavily in the F-15 fleet is aligned with the strategic objectives of South Korea, especially given the relatively young age of the jets, with an average of just over 14 years. Originally acquired under the FX program in the mid-1990s, the first batch of 61 F-15K entered service at the end of 2005 and continues to play a crucial role in the combat capabilities of the Republic of Korea Air Force RoKAF).

The F-15K variant is suitable for long-range attack missions, including against reinforced North Korean targets.
