We start 2023 with a beautiful visit to the Atelier from Daniel and Marta. They choose this gorgeous alternative engagement ring to mark such an special occasion for the couple. This one of a kind ring from our Plethora collection is fully handcrafted at our Atelier in West London with recycled 9ct yellow gold, little granules decorations resembling the sea bubble’s with a centre cluster of sparkling beauty almost as if a gemstone was set in the middle. Counterpart has been worn as an engagement ring on its own, as an alternative to the traditional diamond focal. It adds some weight and dimension to a bridal stack when worn alongside a solitaire. It truly is a band that can do it all.

Engagement and wedding ring inspiration 6 years ago my husband proposed amongst the spring flowers in one of my favourite gardens. It was completely unexpected….although the nervous hand twitching and rubbing of his inside coat pocket were a little suspect :) However what came out of said pocket was a complete surprise. Delicate flowers and a twisted fine bark inspired band by @alexmonroejewellery A beautiful ring in a beautiful setting. I went with the Fine Twisted Vine Seruni Ring by @alexmonroejewellery for a wedding band - something elegant and different to the norm. Every piece of jewellery I wore on our wedding day had a sentimental value as I’m sure most brides choose to do. I wore a jade bracelet owned my grandmother (a-má). It was nice to have a part of her with me. I’ve also had a few brides ask for their treasured items to be sewn on to their wedding garter. From rings, charms and even a handkerchief!
