Thank you so much for running this blog! I love Eagles now haha The only thing I didn't like was how out of character some of the characters seemed on S2. Like Klara hated Felicia for no reason and turned friendly over Elias who she claimed was a fuck boy in S1, Amie x Lude was insanely weird because Amie had no interest in S1 at all, and Klara x Elias seemed so random? I also didn't think Klara's home situation made her likeable because she treated her dad badly tbh, thoughts?

I agree that a lot of characters made some unexpected choices in season 2, especially the whole Amie and Ludde relationship. I honestly never saw anything romantic between them and the fact that Amie claimed she was in love with him seemed so strange. I think the writers just included that for shock value because season 1 was too predictable and they wanted to move out of their comfort zone, but it just didn't work.

Their kiss scene was way too awkward to even watch and I know that was the purpose but I was never convinced that Amie was "in love" with him. When the season aired I actually kept insisting that Amie only saw him as a friend and that she was just confusing her feelings for love because Ludde was the only one who was there for her, but then in the last episode Amie confesses to Ludde that she's in love with him.

I think this whole storyline could've been executed much better because Amie's confession actually sounds like a prank call. It didn't seem genuine at all for me and I just personally didn't understand what the hell was going on with Amie, because she already knew Ludde was still in love with Felicia. She read the lyrics Ludde wrote for Felicia, AND she overheard Ludde talking to Felicia and confirming that he was still in love with her. So I genuinely don't understand why Amie would even think that there was a chance that Ludde liked her back, and I would've preferred that they skipped the confession scene entirely.

As for Klara I actually think she gets too much hate. I understand that people dislike her for what she did and that she didn't get to properly "pay" for filming Amie and Ludde making out, but she was actually a decent character in season 2.

In season 1, Klara is a mean girl who feels threatened by Felicia starting at their school. Felicia is famous and could easily replace Klara, so I think that's why Klara is so mean to her because Klara doesn't want to lose the attention and "control" she currently has. Her home life isn't good – her parents are arguing with each other and almost act like she isn't even there, and keeping the truth from her. I think she's taking out this frustration on Felicia, who she also feels is trying to "steal" her best friend Amie. We haven't seen this on screen but Klara and Amie were really close prior to the show's beginning and have known each other way longer than Felicia has known Amie. It's understandable why Klara feels threatened, because she cares about her friendship with Amie and she's seeing herself losing it when Amie gets closer to Felicia. That's why she's a bitch to Felicia because she just wants her out of the picture.

Yes, it's immature and rude, but Klara is a teenage girl. There are lots of girls who act just like her and they don't all end up coming around like Klara does. Some of them just keep being mean and never grow out of it. With Klara, she did regret how she posted the video of Amie and Ludde and she's shown to be a more caring character when she tells Felicia that Jack might be cheating on her. And this time, she's a lot more careful and really doesn't want to mess it up because she genuinely doesn't want to hurt Felicia – Klara just wants to look out for her.

I think the reason why she was so turned off by Elias in season 1 is because she literally didn't know him and was judging him from how other people talked about him. They didn't talk one on one until season 2 and that's when Klara saw the true side of Elias and most likely changed her mind about him.

I never got the impression that Klara treated her dad badly. She obviously really cares for him, as seen when his company is about to go down and she's helping out and protesting to her mom saying that she's not going to leave her dad. She cares about her dad and is distraught when she sees that her dad has been trying to call her at the party and Klara realizes that something bad has happened. She doesn't hesitate to leave the party and immediately decides to rush home. I mean, the fact that she's literally crying her eyes out while trying to get home as fast as she can should be evidence enough that Klara cares more about her dad than you think. I think if she ever treated him badly it was out of frustration over her parents fighting and them not telling her what was going on.

Eagles: New Year Eve 3x10

All the theories and conjecture come down to this episode. I don’t think I’m ready but I’m hitting play anyways 😂

(prepare yourself, this is long as hell)

1. Felicia checking into mental health/rehab facility, BLESS!! And the girls dropping her off made me smile. I really hope she gets the help she needs and the help she’s searching for. This all can’t be easy and it’s one day at a time. Wait that just leaves Amie and Klara… things seem to be good right now but I’m proceeding with caution 😂. I like that all three of them are checking in with each other on what’s going on with in their personal lives.

2. Oh lord Andreas pls… He said their sound sounded like piss.. no bby, you sounded like piss. I’m sorry y’all, I can’t fake like screamo.

They puttin shit in mailboxes now???… Oh hell no.

They need to set up security cameras or other security measures like a trip wire? Lock the mailbox? Idk. But Jack’s lyin ass needs to be dealt with…preferably with high powered attorneys and not a gun lol.

3. Is it bad i’m out of breath watching Elias work on the ice? I really just caught myself unconsciously huffing and puffing wtf 💀 I see what Mats is trying to do. 14. Ok, great! We are getting into Felicia’s whole mindset with this social media gig. Cuz a girl has been wanting to know! Ok, i’m teetering on the line of Felicia telling Ludde, she just wants them to not have plans and dreams and stay in their town forever as selfish but honest. Only because us as the audience knows ludde actually has dreams. this all depends on her reaction when she finds out which by the tell of this current convo, her ass is definitely finding out unintentionally. she might hear an admissions voicemail, read an email or peep a submission packet. ludde’s ass is definitely not saying a damn thing.

Ludde says he doesn’t want to be a sugar baby anymore. Felicia just completely shuts down during any argument when she is being contested.

15. I’m like, nervous watching Amie and Elias on this stroll right now 😭 You see his body language. He is literally turned to her while they are walking forward. Love to see it.

What I think might happen is, dearest daddy is really back, with petra and amie fighting (or more, amie fighting petra) amie might stay with her dad which would be horrible. i can see it now, he would definitely play that “your mom wouldn’t let me see you” card and he would help drive the wedge further and further away. I can definitely see Petra putting things to the side with the Kroon’s and asking Elias to bring Amie back home to her. Elias could possibly see that Amie’s dad could be using her for her name and fame. Or I could just be all wrong here…

* also, amie and elias’s first kiss better be as enthusiastic and passionate as they did with other folks prior, js (what if their first kiss is really in the rain yall..)

Eagles: Crossroads 3x6

I am so nervous to see what’s in this episode.. what if Klara kicks Ludde off the team because of his injury? We know they have scenes together this season. What if she thinks he would cost her money or is a liability? 🤔

1. Felicia’s saved name for Jack in her phone… sis why don’t you block his number??? Same as when she went off on Ludde in s2 about him liking her pics, girl BLOCK HIM!

2. Ludde just straight up said he’s quitting hockey… I didn’t expect it to end this way, clearly from my note above. I’m glad to see his friends being supportive and in a different light than they usually are. Aw this is sad lol

Idk why she is so mad at him...So with this show’s habit of time jumping, i hope between the end of s2 and beginning of s3 she realizes that.

9. Felicia and Ludde have been the poster relationship since episode 1 so i’m not surprised they made amends in the end. i’m not jealous btw, just impatiently waiting for my endgame’s raisins in the sun moment.

PREDICTIONS/HOPES FOR S3: I am curious if Ludde will actually be jailed. I don’t think so. I can definitely see him on house arrest. Or maybe he goes to juvie and felicia visits him and gets him to drop the charges. I can see that happening.

i think it would be a good idea for felicia’s drug problem to reach it’s peak because it hasn’t yet. she still doesn’t realize that teenagers don’t need to use cocaine recreationally. maybe she could be doing drugs while dealing with Jack? i hope Jack gets more than a crutch to the face (here’s hoping one to the sack as well 🥂) maybe he can just be forced to go back to America.

Very curious how Klara will handle her grief. I’m wondering if it would turn into something big like an eating disorder? Maybe she might overwork herself or just be mean again? idk.

I’m excited for Amie’s career (i am wondering if her mother even knows her song played on the radio?? or that she actually signed to the record label??). Even though I hope she becomes successful I do think it would be good to show how labels can manipulate impressionable new upincoming artist! it literally happens all the time till this day. Anyways, with how long it took (understandably) for Felicia to get back with Ludde and how she spazzed every time something Amie related popped up I highly doubt we will see an Amie/Felicia friendship for at least half of s3. I am rooting for them to be friends again though. And i am ready for Amie to get over being “in love” with Ludde asap.

I do wonder if Elias really wants to do hockey sometimes. Like is it his true passion or is it just something he’s amazing at? i hope doing the nhl will give him answers. and i hope him and his dad rebuild their relationship.

1. trying to watch the show and follow the transcripts at the same time but that was a nope for me 😭😭

It looked like he threw up and the fact that he’s on his back... that is definitely not a good thing. worse comes to worse, he probably choked to death... idk we shall see.

13. Okay that was a sweet moment between Felicia and Ludde at the end. It was a nice ending, i liked it!

Eagles S2 Teaser Trailer breakdown

Thought I’d do a quick breakdown of the teaser trailer that just dropped because we’ve been starved for content for so long lmao

This post got a little long so I added a keep reading button for those of you who are interested in checking it out. Enjoy and feel free to reblog this post with your own ideas and impressions of the trailer! 🥅🏒

The song playing in the background of the trailer is Say We’re Sorry by Loving Caliber, which is about a broken relationship between two people that are both hurting from each other’s actions:

🎵 We hurt each other’s feelings on and on 🎵

The chorus is about how the people in this relationship should apologize to each other:

🎵 I guess that we should say we're sorry 🎵

It’s pretty safe to assume that the song is hinting at Felicia and Ludde’s relationship, which fell apart at the end of season 1 when it was revealed that Ludde had (unknowingly) hooked up with Felicia’s best friend Amie at a party a few weeks prior to Ludde getting back together with Felicia.

They’d also had problems in their relationship before (this is where the “on and on” part of the lyric fits in), such as when Ludde let his friends talk about how Felicia was in bed or the argument they had after Ludde got into a fight with Elias.

Felicia’s feelings were obviously hurt by this and while I can’t exactly name any situations where Felicia hurt Ludde (maybe because they don’t exist lmao) we know that he himself was hurt when he was apart from her after they’d fought. In episode 6 during the Halloween party, Ludde is pretty depressed because of what had happened with Felicia before.

The song lyrics that are actually featured in the trailer, however, are these four lines which are the intro to the song:

🎵 It's silent now, we don't say a word We're just looking at each other Tears in our eyes from the words we said Yeah, it kinda broke my heart 🎵

They fit very well with what is going on in the trailer - there are no spoken lines as all the characters are silent and only exchanging looks. We see Ludde looking around a classroom and Amie looking behind her, most likely at Ludde:

There’s also a scene where we see Ludde chasing after Felicia (?) in the hallways and her turning around to look at him in anger.

The following lyric “tears in our eyes from the words we said” is emphasized when we see Ludde on the verge of tears after this hallway shot, where he probably regrets how he treated Felicia and the things he said to her back in season 1. He might also be sad because he tried to apologize to Felicia for what he did, but got rejected. In that scenario he could be crying over the words he said in the hallway that weren’t enough and made Felicia angry instead.

As for how Felicia is feeling about it, she seems to instead be hiding her sadness and either masking it with anger (like with Ludde) or with a stone-cold expression, like the case is when we see her walking through the halls and her classmates are watching her. There are a lot of eyes on Felicia since the whole school probably knows both her best friend and boyfriend betrayed her, but (again) nobody is saying anything.

The trailer finishes with the lyric “yeah, it kinda broke my heart” which is how both of them are feeling, except Felicia seems to be done with having her heart broken over and over again. We can see that in how she won’t take Ludde back and the look in her eyes on the photo above - she seems way more confident and independent than she did back in the first season.

Right before Felicia is walking through the hallway there’s a brief shot of her (?) talking to Jack, the new character that seems to be a potential love interest for Felicia and a new obstacle between her and Ludde. I’m not 100% sure if he’s gonna be a love interest, but I’d say it’s likely due to 1) the way he looks at her here and 2) it makes sense that a new guy would be introduced right after Felicia and Ludde are broken up.

Jack does seem way older than Ludde and I doubt that his character is supposed to be a teenager - he looks a lot more mature from what we’ve seen.

This could be intentional, since Felicia might be done with Ludde’s childishness throughout season 1 in which he would always end up hurting her feelings. That, or she’s looking to rebel against her father even more? Mats was against Felicia dating Ludde and he might be even more against her dating someone much older.

The other shots I haven’t mentioned are a few hockey scenes (since duh, the show is all about hockey):

It’s a little hard to see who this is (in the words of Amie, tHeY aLL LoOk tHe sAMe!!) but I’m assuming it’s Elias. After the shot of Ludde running after Felicia, the next two shots are of Elias (probably?) and the screenshot above says NKT Arena Karlskrona in the background which is a multi-purpose sporting arena in Karlskrona.

Elias had decided to change to the Karlskrona team in the season 1 finale but we were unsure if he actually went through with it due to what happened to Felicia. The gear is different than the red Eagles hockey shirts, so I’d say it’s either Elias playing for the Karlskrona team or just a Karlskrona teammate. However - this next shot makes me doubt that a little.

Elias is in a gym (I’m guessing) and right before the shot changes,he lunges forward. It looks like he’s hitting a punching bag. Which makes a lot of sense - he does get angry easily and might be using it as some sort of aggression release or it’s simply just part of his workout routine.

The part that stood out to me though was the giant Eagle behind him - the symbol for the Oskarshamn hockey team. If he did leave team Eagles for Karlskrona, why is he in a gym with their eagle icon on the wall?

My best guess is that he is in the Karlskrona team, but perhaps had a match against Eagles in Oskarshamn. There was a similar storyline in season 1 where Eagles had a “derby” (definition: a sports match between two rival teams from the same area) against the Tingsryd hockey team.

It’s also possible that Elias came back to Eagles to be closer to his sister - we also need his character at the same place as everybody else since he sort of was a part of the whole Amie/Ludde drama.

Elias and Amie did have a chemistry that seemed to be leading somewhere before the season 1 cliffhanger. Fans of the show also really want them to get together. There wasn’t a single shot of them together in this teaser trailer but I believe that could be the Eagles team trying to keep it secret and make the audience unsure if it ever will happen. We might see more when the full trailer drops.

This seems to be Elias fighting with someone else (?) at a party. I’m not sure since this shot was really sudden and dark, but it wouldn’t be a complete shot in the dark to say it’s Elias. He has anger issues and got into fights with Ludde last season, even losing his temper one time during hockey practice and flying at Ludde.

Now as for the other guy... I don’t know why Tobias keeps popping into my head. Maybe it’s the shirt. Tobias appeared in season 1, episode 2 and was introduced as Ludde’s friend who was in the school band with Ludde’s older brother Andreas.

I don’t know, I might be completely wrong about this one so I’d love to hear what you guys think.

There’s one last shot I haven’t mentioned yet, of Klara nervously looking around a room with a glass (of alcohol?) in her hand.

She seems to be at a party but unlike her party girl persona in season 1, she is now unsure and alone. She’s mostly covered up which goes against how she used to dress for parties (her mother even commented on how her shirt showed too much skin before the dinner party with Mats and Leila).

Klara’s actress mentioned in an interview that we might change our perception of Klara’s character in season 2, so I assume we’ll feel bad for her now that she’s lost her friends and that she’ll get some kind of “mini” redemption arc.

I’ve watched this trailer so many times now that I’m out of things to say, but please send me asks/messages if you’d like to discuss more! I’m sure there are tons of things I’ve missed or haven’t thought of.

"Eagles 2022 – Everything about the final season"

This is a translation of a Swedish blog post which you can find here. I don't know if this is an SVT-approved article, but it basically recaps the plot points from last season and gives a run-down of what will be explored in season 4.

Most of it aligns with the season 4 episode descriptions but also confirms additional details, so if you'd rather go in blind when the season premieres I would ignore this post!

At the end of the article I've written a short paragraph of my personal thoughts.

Friday the 28th of January is the premiere of the fourth and final season of Eagles on SVT Play. The final season will touch on how to take command of your own life, orthorexia, and what to do when the life you've gotten used to is shaken up and a new chapter begins. Who gets their dreams fulfilled? Who was shot on New Year's Eve? And will Ludde and Felicia have a happy ending?

The synopsis for Eagles season 4

The last semester of high school has begun and everything should be fantastic. However, the characters are instead faced with transformative events and life choices. Felicia (Alva Bratt) is in rehab after her suicide attempt and she just wants to focus on her well-being and graduate. But the person she needs the most to be able to move on is not there. For Ludvig (Adrian Öjvindsson), the weight of the shooting between Jack (Filip Wolfe Sjunnesson) and his brother Andreas (Oskar Laring) weighs heavy on his shoulders.

Amie (Yandeh Sallah) tries to find the balance between her music career and just being herself. But her record label has completely different plans in mind. Amie and Elias (Edvard Olsson) are also at the beginning of their relationship, but Elias has a completely different focus. He trains manically, keeps a strict diet, and is completely engrossed in achieving his hockey dreams. Whatever it may cost.

Klara (Sarah Gustafsson) feels like she carries the whole of Oskarshamn on her shoulders. The GECED company will be closed down and a large portion of the jobs in town will disappear. Now it's up to Klara to prevent that.

Eagles has been, and will also end, as a drama series about the life choices and emotions teenagers experience. Among these things are first love, friendships, betrayal, and dreams about the future.

There's a lot to unpack here, so I'll just go in chronological order and try to keep my thoughts brief.

First off, if the information in this article is accurate, that means the writers are actually going for an eating disorder storyline with Elias. We knew they were doing something with Elias as we had one scene of him overworking himself in the gym and another scene with Mats commenting on the fact that Elias mostly consumes powdered nutrients instead of real food.

I think a storyline like this has potential to really educate the audience. First off, orthorexia nervosa isn't something that's seen that often on TV. On top of that it's even more rare to show a male character with an eating disorder. I'm really interested to see how this will play out, maybe with the focus shifting a little from Felicia's mental health to instead focus on Elias's which has mostly been a question mark throughout the first three seasons.

Speaking of Felicia, the article mentions that she's out of rehab and that the person she needs the most isn't there. This could be either Ludde or Elias, but I'm leaning more towards Elias since he's her brother. Based on the episode descriptions we also know that when Felicia gets home from rehab, Elias is supposedly out partying.

They're keeping the details on the Andreas and Jack situation pretty hush-hush, but that's understandable.

As I've speculated before, Amie and Elias are probably heading for a rough patch now that we know Elias's focus lies more with his training.

This article also confirms that the GECED company is shutting down, but we'll see Klara try to prevent that.

The last thing I'd like to comment on is the cast list. Pretty standard, right? I'm not so sure. After listing the five main characters, there's an additional name wedged between Klara and Andreas (both pretty major characters). That name is Naima, played by an actress called Tina Pour Davoy. It seems that she'll have a significant role to play if she's included in the cast list. Just what that might be remains to be seen.

This summer, the third season of the hit series Eagles premieres on SVT. Now it's confirmed that there will also be a season four - which will be the series' last. We've talked to actress Alva Bratt and screenwriter Michaela Hamilton.

The hit series "Eagles" will soon release its third season on SVT. In the series, we get to follow five teenagers who live in the hockey town Oskarshamn and their high school years, which are filled with friendship, love and rivalry - both on and off the ice. Now it's also confirmed that a fourth and final season of the SVT series is on its way. So how will it end for our favorite characters? We've talked to actress Alva Bratt and screenwriter Michaela Hamilton about the inspiration behind the characters and what the coming seasons have to offer.

- You could see it as season three and four entering phase two. When you start to face adult problems and how you handle them as a non-adult person, says Michaela Hamilton.

The second season of the teen series averaged over half a million viewers per episode and was nominated for Kristallen 2020 in the category of best TV drama of the year. Despite the success, season four will be the last season. Why is that?

- It's quite funny, the way you're asking the question. It's exactly the same thing you feel when you graduate: “Why does it have to end? We're here and having such a good time”. But we have to move on in life and release these people and relationships into the world. That is exactly what we're doing with Eagles as well, says Michaela Hamilton.

- It's good to finish on top! These were the years the show was supposed to be about. Now they're graduating and then we will set them free, Alva Bratt adds.

What will season 4 be about?

We've gotten to follow the characters during their high school years, and the fourth season will take place during the last six months before they graduate and go their own ways. Michaela remembers that there is an incredible pain in graduating and that you are exposed to the world in a completely different way.

- It is a rather bewildering moment in life when you know that you're going to be separated from people that you have first been forced to be with, but then learned to become friends with or live with, and what these goodbyes do to you. So that's where the basic story lies, says Michaela Hamilton.

Alva Bratt on Eagles-Felicia: "It's like her facade is falling quite a bit"

The third season premieres in June, and is largely about the main characters' different choices. Having to make important choices for the future, even though you may not really know who you are, and what the consequences will be. The third season of Eagles will be darker than the previous ones, which we will see in Alva Bratt's character Felicia Kroon.

- I would say that she feels darker and more insecure. It's like her facade is falling quite a bit, says Alva Bratt.

The season will address issues such as how young people are affected by anxiety over the future, mental illness and dysfunctional families. These are topics that both Michaela and Alva can recognize themselves in, but in different ways. Michaela says that she herself was very identity-seeking and insecure when she was younger. When she got a little older, she lost both her brother and stepfather and also had to go through incredible grief. She has tried to put that trauma into the Eagles' script.

- Grief is so striking and it does things to people, both in positive and negative ways. So I've really lent out a lot of my feelings about it, and it's something that has been personal to me, says Michaela.

It's precisely the search for identity that the screenwriters have attributed to Felicia's character. Trying to find out who you are by testing different identities, and that the journey there can be incredibly difficult. Themes such as mental illness and anxiety over the future are probably things that most people can relate to on some level.

- I've felt bad when I was younger, but also good. That's probably what youth is, I guess, says Michaela.

- That's probably also the climate we live in today. No one feels great all the time. I can feel anxiety over the future now more than ever. Especially with the pandemic, it's been awful on so many levels. That you have to live with the constant anxiety of the future. Even if you're feeling pretty well, it's always difficult to know what you're going to do in the future, says Alva.

They both think that these are important topics to highlight and show more sides of. Michaela says that Eagles has never tried to be a series that is only lighthearted, and they're trying to be a broader spectrum than that. The characters encounter problems such as eating disorders, cancel culture, rumors and drug problems.

- I don't think we're romanticizing anything, which I think is very important. It takes a whole lot to do certain things that some of the characters do, but at the same time there is a hopefulness in the series that gives balance, says Alva and continues:

- I think that one of the guy characters problems are highlighted very well. That these vulnerable guys get represented too, because I really think there is too little of that in media. This story also shows that all people are equal regardless of which gender, identity and class we feel like we belong in.

- Emotions belong to everyone, Michaela fills in.

Prior to the series, the production team did solid research work by interviewing young people in Oskarshamn, and among them many teenagers could recognize themselves in Felicia. But Alva Bratt, who plays the character, doesn't find many similarities between her and Felicia.

- I'm very different from my character. I've said it so many times, but she's like the teenager I never was, says Alva.

The characters may seem stereotypical at first, but as the series progresses, we get to see more sides of them. It's a bit like when we get to know someone in real life. At first we might see a happy guy, but the more we hang out with them the more sides to the person we get to see.

- I think it's nice to write a character just like that, to unfold it a bit like a flower. And it's especially important to understand that when you're young, you're not just evil or good or sad or happy. It's not a whole personality. You can change. You can feel shit but at the same time laugh with your family or have problems within the family but still be a good partner, says Michaela.

So, why has the show gotten so popular? Alva and Michaela think that a lot can be attributed to the viewers recognizing themselves or other people they know in the characters. That they are easy to relate to.

- That's the beauty of teen shows. Either you go through it, have to go through it or you have gone through it. That everyone can find something in there that you can relate to, says Michaela.

The filming for the fourth and final season starts soon. Since it has been clear that Eagles will be about the characters' time as high school students, it means that Eagles will end soon. Whether it will come in any other form remains to be seen.

- No closed doors. That's what I'll say, says Michaela.

Klara Ceder (Sarah Gustafsson) who is the school's IT girl feels threatened by Felicia who invades her territory, both as the school's most popular girl and by hanging out with Amie (Yandeh Sallah), who was Klara's friend from the beginning.

Ludvig has family problems and drowns them in alcohol at a party. At the party he meets Amie, and something happens between them.

This happened in Eagles season 2

The second season of Eagles picks up from the dramatic end of season 1, but here we get to see a slightly darker season. Elias starts dating Klara, who Felicia doesn't like. But at the end of the season, Klara apologizes to Felicia, and we get to see other sides of her. Is this the beginning of a new friendship?

Felicia dates Jack Barrett (Filip Wolfe Sjunnesson), a new assistant coach on the team, until she learns worrying things about him.

There is a strange atmosphere between Ludvig and Amie, but they continue to make music together. When Ludvig ends up in the hospital after a hockey tackle, Amie kisses him, but he doesn't kiss her back. Are you allowed to fall in love with your friend's ex?
