ive had to email my boss "hey can i have a project to work on" like twice in the past week and if i don't get something new in the next fifteen minutes i'm going to have to do it again. what is going ON at this company. it is humiliating every time, like being a student reminding the teacher that there is homework, but i do not want to risk getting in trouble for not working so like. i guess the alternative is being annoying.

(I just had the greatest worst idea of the tonitonis being able to eat brains.

specifically the parts of the brain that deal with memory encoding and storage, with the tonitonis' own irminsul biology Somehow allowing for them to digest in order to specifically obtain memories, information or even skillsets depending on the part of the brain consumed................

idk where my post comparing ffviir and tristamps tendency to weaken their own stories by seeming to write for existing fans (in a way of like. seeming to assume you know sephiroth. u know knives. u know the great fall. u know about vashs awesome prosthetic. etc. so why keep the suspense about them? why not just hand em over immediately?) but also both of them giving these like grand showdowns that werent in the original featuring an at least eventual space backdrop to like up the ante. and i did not like it very much in either. ill give ffviiir this that entire last sequence like the 7 seconds w sephiroth and everyone showing up to help was all very moving in the moment. by the time the credits were over i was like. wait. why?

thinking about minedai always starts off like 'haha lmao mine so silly so silly yandere who would cry if daigo told him he was happy to have him as a friend' and then it quickly devolves into 'mine and daigo were both incredibly lonely people growing up one way or another, neither of them feeling as though they had a genuine relationship with someone until meeting each other' and then i throw up and cry
