((Some Undead Druid thoughts))
Tumblr media
Andira Darktalon is Indy's mother. She died defending Teldrassil and then was resurrected as a Dark Ranger. But, now that Sylvanas is in the Maw doing Maw things, she and Indy's dad, Indarris, have quietly crept home. They were both Feral druids in life. And I decided they're still druids.... sort of. This post is mainly so I can find the rules easily. They are as follows:
It is very hard for them to shapeshift, so they only do it when absolutely necessary. It just takes too much energy that they can no longer easily recharge because their connection to nature magic has been severed by death.
Other Druids/Shaman/the very observant would feel nature/life being sucked away slightly any time they use magic because they've learned to channel ambient life to use their spells.
As a result, being around an undead Druid as a living being can be exhausting.
Healing others requires them to tap into their own vitality, and so they can only do it rarely, and have to take time to repair themselves afterwards.
Either being steeped in nature OR being in a large crowd of the living will help them recover faster from using abilities that once came naturally.
The Cenarion Circle kicked them both out. They didn't complain.
...Neither did Indy.

Rate-up is a lie
is a popular phrase within the gacha community. Players use it to mock their failed attempts to get their desired character from the gacha pool, blaming it on the shining lettering on the banner, "rate-up".
Of course, we all know that what we play is dependent on RNG. That's why we say it jokingly. But imagine if rate-ups were a lie?
It is a preposterous thought, and people would definitely be outraged, but what if I were to tell you that it did happen? Veterans are very much familiar with this case I’m about to talk about.
The game was alleged to deceive its player base and subsequently changed the industry forever. The game in question is Granblue Fantasy by Cygames.
It is the year 2016. Cygames’ second consecutive year on the market and New Year is around the corner, so why not celebrate by introducing a new limited character for players to pull.
Tumblr media
Amidst all those players, there is a livestreamer, Taste, who shared his attempts. However, his efforts were in vain and went viral after he obtained Andira after 2,276 pulls (5358,50€ in monetary value [exchange rate as of 31.12.2015). [1]
More reports of other players were coming in, confirming that they needed to spend a high number of pulls to get her. As time passed, it became clear that something was fishy.
Remember the saying from the beginning – rate-up is a lie? Well, someone put in the effort to collect data and put it into numbers. [2] Suddenly, it dawned on the community. The rate-up was… not a lie! Instead, it was misleading.
Andira, as a featured character, had indeed a rate up, but other units had a higher rate up and therefore were more likely to be summoned.
Tumblr media
Understandably, this caused a massive outcry which the developers denied the allegations, but to appease the crowd, they had to apologize and compensate everyone with in-game currency. To prevent further escalations, Cygames preemptively introduced a new system to cap the players’ spending as well as showing the probabilities of all items for more transparency.
Overall, Yuji Nakamura argues that it could have dealt a massive blow to the market share of the mobile game industry, which lost 1 billion dollars. [4] Not only that, it also garnered mistrust from consumers.
Apparently, it even attracted some regulatory bodies. One is JOGA (Japanese Online Games Association) [1], the other is CESA (Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association). [3]
Both have released guidelines on the matter. Although I cannot confidently say much about JOGA due to the language barrier, if you are interested and able to read Japanese, you can find their guidelines under the categorie April 2016.
Nevertheless, according to Koeder et Tanaka, CESA has announced a guideline for more transparency for gacha item probability. [3]
It’s worth noting that JOGA and CESA are not regulatory bodies from the government. So those guidelines are not legally binding. According to Tsuji’s article introduction on Columbia Academic Commons, in Japan video game regulations are handled by third parties – basically self-regulation. [5]
In the end, the incident shaped the industry, compelling subsequent games to adapt to the guidelines. A win for consumer rights.

Their just a little guy. Making a horrible snow frog.
Cosmic Guardian as the Collector! Sprig and Polly end up naming the Domino 3 (D3 for short). Lots of their colors are from the cat forms we saw them as in Amphibia. Uhh yeah I tried my best with what was given.
Lore time. So D3 made the gemstones, Wit, Strength and Heart out of boredom (as one does). And well they wanted to play and eat pizza bangles. Eventually the stones got tried and fled from D3. D3 got mad and went on a rampage so the stones stopped them by locking them up in a music box. Andiras and his dad (yeah he's here too) found D3 and kept them in hopes of learning where the stones where. But D3 didn't know and instead taught the two magic and what not. Yada yada Polly frees them against her brothers pleads and here we are. The Plantars have a connection with the stones that I'll get into when I talk about Leif. (I got LORE and a ADHD brain if u haven't guessed)

Digimon T.C.G (Trading Card Game) {Revival} ~ Andiramon (Sample Card)
{from here!}
The card was previewed alongside a new "Tamer" card for 02 movies character Wallace BT17-088, from the 02 movies "Hurricane Touchdown" and "The Golden Digimentals", two separate movies in the original Japanese version.
Notes/Trivia: "Antyla", from Antylamon, the U.S. dub name, is a misspelling of "Andira". "Andira" is one of the Twelve Heavenly Warriors of Buddhist Mythology (one of the major religions of Japan). {Wallace, meanwhile, is an American Chosen, implied to be connected to the U.S. group of Chosen (though once mainly acting solo + within the movies specifically), specifically from the region of (one based off of the real-world) Colorado. "Willis", Wallace's U.S. dub name was a misspelling of or taken from "Wallace" and intentionally modified, but it is also a real English "name" of English, Norman French, and Scottish origin, that seems more commonly used as a surname. It may be less commonly used as a first name, but it isn't necessarily "wrong" as an uncommonly used first name that originates from a surname. "Wallace", in comparison, is a common given name meaning 'Wales' or 'of Wales', but it is also used within England, Scotland, and the United Kingdom in general.

THE LANCER OF ALSEA
3D fan art for a beloved series of mine, Chronicles Of Alsea, by Fletcher DeLancey!
Andira Tal, one of the main cast-- Seemingly untouchable, a powerful and cunning world leader, but her loneliness was true and resonated deeply within me.
"Take one part science fiction and one part fantasy. Add a heaping tablespoon of psychology. Spice with political thriller and romance. Stir vigorously and pour into a long, satisfying story. Bake until done—and you have the novels of Fletcher DeLancey in the Chronicles of Alsea."
