Album 01

Summary: Anika Kiyozaki receives a rather peculiar invitation from Chuohku to join the territory battles. Already having little faith in herself, she is unsure of who to recruit. In the meantime, Shian Meizono receives word that a client of hers has become a wanted fugitive for the court and she is now gearing up for a brand new hunt. And just when Makina Setsukura decides enough is enough and begins to ache for some type of escape from reality, neither Anika, Shian, or Makina could have ever imagined what bizarre events would be coming their way.

Warnings (MDNI): angst, dark humor, sexual humor, smut, deceit, con, stalking, abusive relationship, domestic violence, yandere, abusive family, mentions of pedophilia, mentions of sexual assault, prostitution, drugs, addiction, human trafficking, violence, gore, blood, character deaths. Ace looked at the lump of coal, a cocked eyebrow present on his face. He picked one of the lumps up, still staring at it, as if trying to comprehend just what he was holding in his hand. What exactly should he do with this? Should he toss it in the garbage? After a minute of this, he shook his head, dumped the coal back with the rest of them and walked off, still shaking his head. As he did, only one thought was present in his mind.

"It's like my childhood all over again..."

"I hadn't heard of this girl until she had formed her little team in Akihabara. Apparently, before her current... 'profession', and I use that term loosely, she used to be a race car driver that was forced to retire after an accident. Peh, I guess that's what happens when you let reckless peons and daredevils get behind the wheel of a car. Still though, I think being a race car driver would have made more sense than her current job. A 'hypnotherapist'? What absolute ludicrousy..."

"Unlike her leader, I know of this woman, but only because she's had to do business here in Aoyama, capturing up any sort of miscreant or filth that thought we here in Aoyama would protect them from the law. Ha, how foolish! Thankfully, none of the people here have to deal with her... at least, I hope. If they had, then they deserve to get taken by her for trying to mar Aoyama's good name."

"I think I recall seeing this young woman at the convention I spoke about before where that gamer girl from this same city attended. I recognized her before I did this girl, however. Unlike her, she, at least, was deserving of her fame for being on a ranking. This young woman, however, what exactly is she known for? Simply showing off her skillset on camera? Peh, I tell you, it's astonishing how peasants flock to people who are just like them..."

"This has to be the third team to represent Akihabara now. I wasn't aware that that city had grown in popularity so much that numerous teams wanted to form there. Honestly, I'm a little insulted no other team wished to form here in Aoyama. ...But then again, maybe that is because we've already crushed any and all peons that had any thought of trying to claim Aoyama as their own.

"But that is neither here nor there. Honestly, I don't really know what to expect from this team. A therapist, a bail enforcer, and a girl who enjoys showing off her video game status on camera. Between them and that other Akihabara team, the 'Anime Corpse' or whatever they are calling themselves, I don't know which of the two teams are better or worse. But like them, I'm not holding my breath that this team gets far."

"I remember her. She was the one who gifted Elliot-kun that adorable deer shelf that he has in his room for his birthday. He uses that thing for everything, which shows just how much he likes it, or rather, how much he likes animals. It was really nice of her. Aside from that, I'm afraid I don't know much about her. I heard she works as some sort of... therapist? ...I'll admit, a part of me has thought about seeing a doctor or a counselor for my... problems. But I highly doubt my condition is something a physician could cure..."

"Bail enforcement? ...I don't think any of us will have to see her anytime soon. ...Well, at least I or Elliot-kun won't. Yorii, on the other hand... it's a possibility. ...But then again, I've heard that she likes cosplay and anime, so... if he does get caught by her, perhaps letting her know he had a part in a popular anime may get her to let him off the hook. ...Maybe. ...Probably..."

"Sorry... but I don't really know much about this girl. I think Elliot-kun knows more about her though. Apparently, she works as a... "streamer", was it? A person who basically records themselves doing something. In her case, she shows herself playing video games. I guess that's why Elliot likes her so much. Me, I'm never really understood the fascination behind them. If I want to get lose in a fantasy world, that's what a good book is for."

"Akihabara is certainly an interesting place. I guess it makes sense that Elliot-kun finds time to visit there every month or so. Even Yorii goes by there sometimes to do concerts or shows. That's... not really my scene, unfortunately. But besides that, I'm pretty sure they aren't the only Akihabara team. I wonder if this means they're going to have face another one for the preliminaries. I'm not sure of their opponents, but I wish them both the best of luck."

"I don't know Anika very well. I don't go to Akihabara very often, unfortunately. And even when I do, it's strictly for business, not pleasure. I would like to stop there and check out some of the music stores they have, though. But they'd probably be something more for Zakari's taste than mine. ...Speaking of Zakari, I noticed that when this woman comes up, he acts completely stoic for a while before going back to normal. He plays it off, but I can tell that there's something about Anika that really sets him off. I don't know what it is, but... I hope he doesn't do anything that he regrets..."

Shian Meizono

"I see Shian in Gypsy's Palace at least twice a month. Three times, if we're lucky. She's a hardcore raver and dancer, which is a shock considering her appearance and profession. But you know what they say, 'you can't judge a book by its cover'. And she's a pretty cool person once you get to know her. She tries to play it off, but I know that she calls my radio station at least once a week asking to play a particular song. I hope she realizes she doesn't need to hide. Any fan of 'good music' is a friend of mine."

Makina Setsukura

"I don't know Makina, personally. From what I know, she's a streamer, meaning she shows herself on camera, playing video games or something, which doesn't really catch my interest, I'm afraid. I mean, I've made songs for video game soundtracks, but I don't really have the time nor the patience to play them. But more power to her."

Pixel Syndicate

"So this is one of the two Akihabara teams, huh? They seem pretty mellow, no offense. I'm actually interested to see them in a battle so I can assess them. As far as the members go, I've no issue with any of them. But... like I said earlier, whatever issue Zakari's got with Anika, I hope he finds a healthy way to handle it. Say or do what you want, but just be prepared for the consequences of your actions, son."

"I don't know Anika-san personally, even though we both live here in Akihabara. I've seen her around, but besides a few 'hellos' and 'how are yous?', we don't really converse much. I know she works as a sort of therapist, but... I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I've always found the theory of hypnosis as a credible science and medical field to be sort of false. I don't see how putting someone under a trance can help fix what's wrong with them. Like I said, maybe it's just me."

Shian Meizono

"Like Anika-san, I don't know much about Shian-san either. I think Criss knows more about her. From the way she describes her, she makes her sound like some sort of 'bounty hunter', which, considering her profession, is kind of accurate. I can't say much about her. I know she works somewhat with the police, but she has her own way of doing things. I hate to admit it, but she's kind of scary."

Makina Setsukura

"You'll have to talk to Nikki about this girl. Both of them have pretty much the same occupation. Nikki doesn't say much about her, but she does confirm that she can 'hold her own in MOBAs', whatever that means."

Pixel Syndicate

"I'm a bit confused about this team. Otome-sama said that my team and I were the ones who would be representing Akihabara after the Daybreakers left. If that's true, why'd she send this team a set of HypMics then? ...Is this possibly some sort of test? If so, then I'll do my best to pass it. No offense to this team, but only one group can represent one city. And the ones representing Akihabara are us!"

🎃 Behind the scenes Pt.1

Even though there are other divisions and some participants which may not be mentioned above, they’re all invited and have their own parts in this event as well. For examples;

Himari Asami, Hiroshi Sakura, and Suzuran Minazuki (who was on the request of her non-blood-related cousin) were in charge of designing and making costumes with the assistance of three fashion interns; Aimi Miyazaki, Alice Shiroka, and Umi Kobayashi.

Akira Arai, Natsume Kurome, Kururi Yamamura and Queen Card’s team were noted to took part in making props. By the way, Kureha Koizumi was anticipated to participate in this as well but she unexpectedly showed up in the opening show —much to everyone’s surprise.

Reiaki Suzubayashi and Emiko Akaibara showed to work together on helping the cast prepare themselves before entering the stage.

Chiyuri Seiguni was tasked to be the main operator of most special effects on stage via the brief from the real technician, Raiden Otoha since this one had to take his part in the 7th show.

Aiko Mayeda was the D.J. and he got the party started! The 86 band and other musical units associated with other division members were also joined in to provide music for some songs.

Most choreography throughout the shows were designed and coached by Yeong Hajoon, Haruto Morikawa, and Kaede Iwasawa.

The representative of Snowflake Sentinel News, Yoichi Shujo; and the head of a certain publishing-house, Nellie Yukimura were assigned to deliver the details of this event. Please expect more live reports and some tidbits behind the scenes from them.

The foods and drinks in this event were all supplied by the alliance between Luis Kōkyū, Rashaad Young, Harumatsuya shop, and Rikiya farm.

The main sponsors of the previous event are Sigma Inc., Toi Pharmaceutical, and E.L. Medical Co. Therefore, this time it’s the turn of Wonder⇓anD Sound Systems, Arakawa Tech Industries, and the concert venue was organized by the entertainment agency “Kairiku Production” with the cooperation of Queen Card’s league.

For some reason, a certain division was banned from participating —to be specific, it’s Ginza Division. However, Eiji Noguchi and his family were secretly invited because his children wanted to come.

At first Fusao Ise and Queen card were honored to be the MCs (or the hosts) of this event but because the latter had to ‘prepare’ for her own part in the 11th show, Reika Aichi was surprisingly nominated to take over this role once again alongside Fusao.

At the beginning, all the cast were seen wearing some kind of masquerade mask before their first show started.

Though not every division was present in the 3rd show, there were flags with symbols of each team ever participated in the D.R.B. showing on stage.

For whatever reason, Aranai Norikoru was the one who delivered the line “Toki wo (Shout)!” before the chorus “Kakumei wa matte (The revolution has succeeded)!” was sung by all divisions. Well, someone in the cast seemed visibly displeased with how this turned out.

Despite the 6th show being performed by Yuuya Kanata and Yorii Sakuma, the one who advised them on the lyrics was their senior musician, Ren Nakashima, and the music provider for this show was none other than the 86 Band

Before two boys of the 6th show left the stage, the camera caught both Yuuya and Yorii high-fiving Ren who was up for the next show…
