13. Colourful Type

- another example of a made typeface that is playful, made for a project called Archild that encourages children to stay interested and curious about building, architecture and the world around them.

- In this image I like the grid/ layout of the type and how the creator plays with stretching and distorting the letters. 

14. Colourful type(face)s

- This is a continuation on the previous image where they have been developed into childlike faces

- I thought this was a fun way to evolve this typeface. It already had the bold bright colours that a child might choose and the expressions the faces have give the letters very cute and playful characters, extremely fitting for a project based around children

15. Face Logo

- branching out from the face based type, this face logo was the next step

- A more sophisticated and refined version of using face-like inspiration in an artists work. This design felt more stoic than the goofier faces from before.

16. GrimsTales Illustration

- Depiction of the little red riding hood

- I liked this illustration because of the simple and child friendly alternative way of telling a grimmer fairytale.

17. Egyptian style Illustration

- The sectioning and colour placement of this piece is what drew me to it

- It is eye-catching and intriguing to explore. Lots of segments to look at.

18. Book illustration

- Designs for content in a storybook 

- Only two colors (minus black) are used well in this illustration. The linework and fill in colour are overlapped and blended to make the image feel as if it is exploding towards the viewer
