"You have a WHAT?!" Dick screamed over the phone. He was currently trying to persuade his best friend, Wally West, to go out to play laser tag with him, before he found out that Wally had a girlfriend.

"I said, I have a girlfriend." Wally said.

"Since when?" Dick pressed on.

"Uh.... we've been dating for 3 years."

"3 YEARS!!!!!" Dick yelled. "Okay, that's it! I'm bringing the rest of the gang to hear this. Hang on," Wally stayed quiet as he heard the rest of his friends enter the phone call.

"Um... why are we here, Dick? And what's the emergency?" Zatanna asked, sounding like she had just woken up.

"Zee, were you still sleeping?!" Wally asked.

"Yeah, why?" Zatanna asked, yawning.

"It's 3:30!" Dick cried out.

"Yes, I am aware of that dumbass."

"Hey! This dumbass is your boyfriend! Also it's 3:30 IN THE AFTERNOON!!!!"

"What is this emergency, my friend?" Kaldur questioned, growing slightly impatient.

"Oh right," Dick said. "Wally has been dating a girl for 3 years and he didn't even tell us!"

"He's been what?!" Megan cried out, astonished.

"I don't buy it, there's no way he has been dating someone for 3 years and none of us know about this." Zatanna said, stubbornly "Okay, we need to talk about this in person!"

"OBVIOUSLY!" Dick yelled.

"Okay, we'll talk about this, meet me in front of Young Justice Diner in ten minutes." Wally said, hanging up before his friends could protest

"Hi welcome to Young Justice diner, my name is Rhea. Blah blah blah, how many?" A raven haired girl asked bored.

"Uh, hey Rhea. Can we have my regular booth?" Wally asked.

"Oh, heeeeeeeeeeeeey Wally. You know, you look reeeeally hot today." The raven haired girl, Rhea, giggled as she looked at him. Wally suddenly felt uncomfortable at Rhea words.

"Uh thanks Rhea,"

"We should get together! Wouldn't we just make the cutest couple? Our couple name could be, Walhea or Rhally. Oh those both sound so cute!" Rhea said, her voice never loosing it's flirtatious tone.

"Is that your girlfriend?" Dick asked in a quiet voice so Rhea wouldn't hear.

"Listen Rhea, how many times do I have to tell you? I have a girlfriend!" Wally said, angry because whenever he came here Rhea would always flirt with him.

"Ugh, you should just ditch that looser. I bet she isn't as pretty as me." Rhea said, flipping her hair as she the word 'pretty'. Wally ignored her and just walked over to his regular booth sitting down at the left corner of the booth.

Rhea handed them each a menu (top picture, if u look at it closely then u can see some iconic thing they've said) and swiftly left. "So, I'm guessing that flirty girl isn't your girlfriend." Dick said amused, looking through the menu.

"Wow, what tipped you off? The part where I said that I had a girlfriend or the point where I had to walk away to get her to stop flirting with me?" came Wally's sarcastic response.

"Hey, just pointing this out to everyone." Dick said, raising his hands in mock surrender.

"So, this place is called Young Justice Diner?" Zatanna asked intrigued.

"Yep! It's based on the comics and the TV show Young Justice." Wally replied, going back to his happy self.

"Wow, look at all the options! They all look so good!" Megan cheered, looking through the menu.

"How did you find this place, my friend?" Kaldur questioned, skimming through the menu.

"My girlfriend told me about it."

"So she knows that you have a bottomless stomach?" Raquel asked, with a smirk on her face. Wally gave Raquel a look that said a lot 'I have a fast metabolism!'.

"Speaking of girlfriends, tell us about yours!" Dick said, slamming his menu onto the table, catching some looks from other people.

"Why do you want to know about her?"

"Well, as your best friend I have to know who it is!" came Dick's snappy reply.

"You want to look her up don't you?"

"Maybe,"

"Well, I'm not telling you anything so might as well give up." Wally said, taking a sip of his water.

Suddenly a deep voice rang through the small diner. "Rhea! Get back to work! Have you taken any orders yet?"

"That's Cyrus. He's the owner of this place, he's really nice and friendly but he can be freakishly scary at some points." Wally whispered, pointing to the middle aged man.

"That's it! I've had enough of your bossiness! I quit!!" Rhea's shrill voice screamed as she slammed her apron onto the bar. She stomped over to a handsome business man that had just walked through the door and she started to flirt with him as well. The gang heard Cyrus sigh as he ran a hand over his hair.

"Hey Cyrus! You okay?" Wally asked, concerned for the man.

"Oh hey Wally! How's my favorite customer doing? And yeah, I'm fine but I need someone to help at the diner since Rhea just quit." Cyrus smiled at him.

"Where's everyone else?" Wally asked.

"Well, Erica went camping with her boyfriend Ben, Zoe's out at a concert with Mike so they can't come. Chip's out attending his cousin's wedding and Jawa's going to his sister's graduation."

"What about Artemis? What's she doing?"

"I think she said that she was babysitting Lian, but I can give her a call and see if she can come help." Cyrus said, giving Wally a slight smirk. Cyrus picked up the diner's phone and dialed Artemis' number. "Hey Artemis! Can you come help with the diner?" There was a slight pause as the person on the other end said something. "She just quit... You'll come? Yeah sure that's totally okay if you bring her! Alright see you in a few. Bye" Cyrus said, with a big smile on his face. "She said that she'll be in a few."

"That's great!" Wally cried out happy. In a matter of minutes a gray Toyota pulled up and out came a beautiful blonde with olive tan skin and stormy gray eyes. The blonde went to the back of the car and picked up a small brown haired girl who looked to only be about 3 years old. They both walked into the diner, the blonde placed small girl on a chair and handed her some crayons and paper before leaving the child to play.

"Hey Cyrus!" The blonde haired girl said, giving the man a smile.

"Artemis! You have no idea how much I need your help right now! I don't think Rhea's even taken any orders... can you do that?"

"Sure! Just watch Lian for me will ya? Jade will kill me if I lost her baby girl." Artemis said, grabbing her own apron and walked over to a couple. "Hi Barry! Hey Iris! How are you guys prepping for Don and Dawn?"

"We're doing good but still slightly nervous, I mean I'm going to be delivering twins!" Iris said, handing over the menu's

"Well, don't worry. I'm sure you'll do great and seeing since you just handed me your menus you already know what you want? Hmmm, let me guess, Barry will have a 'Mount Justice' and you'll have an 'Aqualad'?"

"Yes please," Barry said.

"Okay, you're food will be here soon." Artemis reassured and left to take another table's orders. In less than 5 minutes the entire diner has had time to order their food, well everyone but Wally's table.

"Hey everyone. I'm so sorry to keep you waiting but I just have to deliver Mrs. Patterson her food and then I'll come over and take your orders." Artemis said, walking over to where an old lady sat. "Alright now that, that's taken care of. What can I get you guys?" Artemis asked taking out her pen and paper.

"Uh, I'll have a-" Dick started, but suddenly he was rudely interrupted him.

"Hey! Miss! I need a refill on my iced coffee over here! Chop chop lady! I don't got all day here!" A savvy business man yelled from across the room.

"Just give me a minute here sir, I'll be right with you once I take this table's order." Artemis said, over her shoulder.

"What?! But there's seven of them and one of me! Just take my order first and then take theirs." The man said rudely.

"Excuse me Cam-er-on!" She said, looking at the man's ridiculous nametag "But you've only been here for ten minutes meanwhile these guys have been waiting patiently for me to take their order for over 20 minutes now! Can't you just give me 5 minutes?!" Artemis' snapped, giving Cameron a murderous glare.

"Well, time is money and 5 minutes costs you half your salary! I bet don't know that I am the newest owner to Icicle toy emporium, so you better treat me right! In half an hour I will be my welcome party so I expect my iced coffee now! As they always say, THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!!" Cameron demanded, catching the attention of everyone in the diner.

"Oh my god! You are sooooooooooooooooooooo hot, I've never met a business man as hot as you are," Rhea flirted touching Cameron's bicep through his white button up shirt.

"Yeah, you're right, he customer is always right. I'll go get your iced coffee right now, s-sir." Artemis said, under her gritted teeth. Everyone was watching as the blonde went to go grab a coffee pot filled with iced coffee. Artemis made eye contact with Cyrus and the middle aged man nodded his head giving his approval.

"Guys, take out your phones. You'll want to record this!" Wally said in a hushed voice as Artemis' hand grabbed the handle of the coffee pot. The gang quickly pulled out their phones, as did everyone else in the diner. They all watched as Artemis approached the white haired man.

"Here's your iced coffee sir, but I know you're in a hurry so I'll just give it to you to go." Artemis smiled politely.

"Where's the cup?" Cameron demanded.

"Oh, since you said that you're in such a hurry. I figured that you didn't need a cup. Now, open wide." Artemis sang as she poured the entire coffee pot's contents over Cameron's head. "Oh, silly me. I forgot the ice!" Artemis grabbed a bucket of ice that Cyrus was holding next to her and dumped it on his head. "There! I hope you enjoy your iced coffee, sir!" Artemis spat.

"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?! HOW DARE YOU POUR COFFEE OVER MY NEW OUTFIT?! I JUST BOUGHT THIS TODAY FOR MY SPECIAL OCCASSION!!!" Cameron turned towards Cyrus. "AND AS FOR YOU! YOU SHOULD FIRE THIS HORRIBLE, INCOMPETENT MOST IMPORTANTLY RUDE WAITRESS! DID YOU SEE HOW SHE TREATED ME TODAY?! YOU'RE LUCKY I DON'T SUE THIS DINER RIGHT THIS SECOND!"

"Listen here, Cameron owner of Icicle toy emporium, there are two rules here! Rule number one, never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever EVER be rude to ANY of my employees! And rule number two, if your rude they're rude! You got me?" Cyrus asked menacingly. "And as for YOU!" Cyrus said, turning towards a cowering Rhea. "Clean your boyfriend's mess up and then I don't ever want to see any of you in my diner again? Capeesh?!"

"Y-y-yes s-sir," Rhea stuttered, before grabbing a mop to clean the mess up.

Wally spared a glance at his friends and saw that their mouths were slightly open. Thinking of another way of setting them off, Wally stood up and walked over to Artemis. "Nice work babe, you totally melted his cold attitude!" He said, loud enough for everyone to hear. Out of the corner of his eye, Wally saw that his friends' jaw were now practically touching the floor. He smirked and kissed her, they broke apart 20 seconds later and Wally turned towards his friends and said, "And you didn't believe me when I said that I had a girlfriend."

Artemis watched as her friends embraced her speedster. Finally after 5 months of sadness, Nightwing had finally brought the love of her life out of the speed force. It seemed like an eternity since she'd last seen her beloved Baywatch. She stood off to the side when everyone started crowding around them, all she could hear were 'Welcome back's' or 'Don't you ever do that again'.

"So... you happy?" Nightwing asked, startling the blonde out of her daydream.

"Yeah, why?" she asked, turning to face him.

"Just seems like you've been doing a lot of staring instead of hugging... Or kissing." He pointed out, adding the last part quietly. Artemis socked him the shoulder, having heard the last part.

"I guess I'm still in shock about the whole thing. I mean not even two days ago I was crying over a pint of ice cream about the fact that Wally was dead and now here he is, but is he back for good? Or is this just temporary? What if he disappears again? What if we lose him forever this time? What if..." Artemis stressed.

"What if you stop worrying about the future because right now, I'm right here babe. And I promise I'm never leaving you again." Wally said, walking up from behind her.

"Promise?" she whispered.

"Speedster's honor." Wally said, placing his right hand over his heart. Artemis chuckled, before lightly slapping him in the chest.

"Dork." she mumbled. "You know, you really scared me..." she said, seriously. "I thought I'd never see you again. Hell, I was so close to falling into depression." Artemis confessed, looking anywhere but Wally.

"Hey," Wally said. "Look at me... please?" he begged, she continued to avert her eyes before Wally tilted her chin up so she was looking into his emerald eyes. "I'm here now... and I promise, I'm never leaving you ever again." he reassured.

"But what if you do? I don't think I would be able to handle losing you twice." her voice quivered. She hated being so vulnerable and yet the past few months have left her more vulnerable than she has been in years. Wally pulled her into a hug, she wrapped her arms around his waist and buried her head into his chest, breathing in his smell of peppermint and a hint of pine. After so many years she found the smell comforting, she always found it strange because he would run through hell and back and still smell fresh and comforting. Wally pulled her closer, and she felt his warmth engulf her. She felt tears prick her eyes as the speedster comforted her.

"Shhhh, babe. I'm not leaving you again. Believe me, I love you so much, Beautiful." he whispered in a soothing tone. He swayed them, side to side.

"What if-" the blonde started.

"Babe, no more what if's" Wally said, holding her at arm's length. "I spoke with Uncle Barry and he said that we're gonna start training to make sure I can control my speed. It's going to be like when I first became Kid Flash but this time I just gotta control myself from running into the speed force."

"I love you... so so much." Artemis said, wrapping her arms around his neck and buried her face into his neck as a tear fell.

"I love you too."

"So..." Zatanna said, as the original members of the team watched Artemis and Wally's reunion.

"So...?" Dick repeated, curious on what the magician had to say.

"You sooooo owe me $5000!" She cheered, throwing her arms over head.

"What?! No way! I totally won that bet!" Dick protested.

"Excuse me?! I totally won! Did you see that gigantic tear?"

"Well, I didn't hear her sniffle so IT DOESN'T COUNT!" Dick countered.

"You don't need to sniffle to prove your crying! As long as there's tears then ARTEMIS WAS CRYING!"

"M'gann!" Both cried out at the same.

"Oh no! Don't you dare bring me into your squabble." M'gann interrupted before they could ask. "But Zatanna's right, as long as there was a tear then she cried." the martian added quietly.

"Ha!" Zatanna cheered.

"Nuh uh! Conner! Tell her!" Dick begged. The kryptonian looked at the acrobat for a second before answering.

"Dick..." Conner sighed. "Zatanna and M'gann are right... as long as Artemis shed a tear, then she technically cried." Dick looked at Kaldur and Rocket but judging by their faces, Conner was right.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Dick screamed, falling onto his knees.

"YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!" Zatanna countered.

"Please! Please don't make me gimme $5000!" Dick begged, grabbing onto her legs.

"Nuh uh! A bet's a bet, Boy Wonder. No backing out now, not when I've won!" she said, as she shook him off.

"What'd you bet on?" M'gann asked, as Dick pulled out a huge wad of cash. But Zatanna didn't answer as she began counting her money.

"Well, while Missy Rich counts her new wad of cash, I'll tell you." Dick mumbled bitterly. "When I first found out that I could bring Wally out of the Speedforce, I went to Zatanna first. Because of her magic... Anyways, when we were positive that we could bring Wally back, Zee and I made a bet. We bet that when Wally came back, if Artemis cried then I had to give her $5000. But if she lost then she would have to go on the worst date ever with me. BOOM... but not only did I lose five thousand dollars, I think I also lost my dignity."

"Oh, you totally did. Who's got $5000? I've got $5000!" Zatanna gloated.

"Please give me back my money, Zee! Pleaseeeeeeeeeee?" he said, giving her the puppy dog eyes.

"Ah ah ah," Zatanna said, wagging a finger at him. "Your puppy dog eyes don't work on me anymore!" Dick sighed, knowing there was nothing he could do to persuade the magician to change her mind. "But, I'd be willing to give you half of the $5000" the raven haired girl said.

"REALLY?!" Dick perked up, excitedly.

"Only if you can get Artemis to kiss you."

"B-but that's impossible! You know that!"

"Oh, I know." Zatanna smiled smugly. "So... deal or no deal?" she asked, as Wally and Artemis started walking towards the group.

"Uh..." he hesitated.

"Come on... I'm giving you a chance to win $2500 over here!" she taunted, rubbing the money all over his face.

"Fine, deal." They shook each other's hands just as Wally and Artemis walked into earshot. "No Zatanna, your theory is wrong. The Greeks did not climb out of the Trojan Horse's butt." Everyone looked at Dick like he had grown two heads, just as Artemis and Wally reached the group.

"Hey guys! What were you just talking about?" Artemis asked.

"Zatanna thinks that the Greeks climbed out of the Trojan Horse's butt. Pffff, can you believe that?" Dick scoffed.

"Uh... no?" Wally asked, unsure of what was going on.

Suddenly Artemis pulled Dick into a tight hug, startling the 18 year old. "Thank you for bringing him home, Dick." she whispered before lightly pecking him on the cheek. She pulled away just as Dick got over his shock.

"Pay up!" he turned towards Zatanna who still looked shocked.

"What?!" she asked, snapping out of her daze.

"You said that you'd give me $2500 if Artemis kissed me and she did. BOOM!"

"But that doesn't count!" Zatanna protested.

"And neither does crying with any sniffles!" he shot back. "She kissed me but you didn't specify whether she had to kiss me on the lips or on the cheek."

Zatanna sighed knowing that Dick was right. Her best friend did technically kiss him, even if it wasn't what she was expecting.

"Dnah Kcid owt dnasuoht dna evif derdnuh srallod," Zatanna said, as her wad of cash turned smaller.

"Thank you!" Dick said, as he handed Artemis $300. "And thank you!"

"You were in on it?!" Zatanna gasped.

"Technically no, but I heard you guys make your bet and I thought it'd be funny to see your reaction. And believe me, it was." Artemis chuckled.

"You are a cruel lady." Zatanna playfully glared.

"I know," she replied, before everyone burst out laughing. And just like that, everything was perfect again.

Mount Justice June 17, 14:45 EDT

"Recognized Aqualad B-0-2, Access granted Tigress T-3-0, authorization Aqualad B-0-2." Tigress heard the zeta tubes automatic voice say, as she felt my molecules shift. She and Kaldur arrived into the cave, and she nearly ran into Kaldur as he stopped abruptly.

"Uh... why'd you stop?" Tigress asked, confused. The whole reason they were here at the cave in the first place was because Kaldur and her had given Nightwing information that the Light and their partner, the Reach, had called upon a summit to discuss the incident about the Bialyian scarab temple. Nightwing said that it was time to reveal their secret to the rest of the team. He said that he would tell the team and that they should come to the cave at 2:45 pm, 5 minutes after he tells them.

Tigress looks in front of Aqualad and she's shocked to see the team in defensive positions. "I am not so sure that Nightwing has delivered the news yet." Kal said, staring at the team.

"What do you think you're doing here?" Conner snarled, stepping forward.

"I wish no harm, but Nightwing has called me here on important business." Kaldur said, raising his arms.

"Yeah," M'gann scoffed. "Well, Nightwing's not here."

"Hey, who's that?" Garfield asked, pointing at Tigress.

"I bet it's his girlfriend." Cassie whispered.

"Wait a second... Didn't Kaldur murder Artemis? Dudeeeeeee, that is so not crash." Bart said, loudly. Tigress could see everyone stiffen slightly when Bart said the blonde's name.

"Yeah, that's him." Zatanna sneered.

"Artemis thought of you as a brother! And how do you repay her? By stabbing her in the back! Literally!" M'gann cried, her eyes glowing green. "Now you'll pay!"

"As the saying goes, an eye for an eye, a girl for a girl." Tim said, throwing a couple birdarangs. La'gaan charged towards the two and Tigress stepped in front of Kaldur and pulled out her crossbow.

As La'gaan lunges for Tigress but she sidesteps and roundhouse kicked him in the gut. "Ooaauugh!" La'gaan grunted, taking a couple steps back. Conner charged towards the stripped tiger and decked her in the face, sending her flying across the room. Before anyone could react, the zeta tubes whirled into action.

"Recognized Nightwing B-0-1, Kid Flash B-0-3."

"Hey guys, sorry I'm late I had to get somethi-" Nightwing trailed off, as he and Wally stepped off the zeta tube. His jaw dropped as he took in the mess in front of him. La'gaan lay sprawled across the room, M'gann and Garfield were grabbing onto his arms and were trying to pull him up. Tigress was unconscious, with a bloody lip and a black eye. "Alright, what happened here?" he demanded, as Wally raced over to his unconscious girlfriend.

"They broke into the cave and wouldn't leave, so I attacked them..." La'gaan said, leaning on M'gann.

"Uh... I wouldn't say attacked seeing, Tigress kicked your butt in less than two seconds." Jaime said, glaring at La'gaan.

"Hey, you okay?" Wally asked, as Artemis groaned.

"Do I look okay? I just got decked in the face by a Kryptonian." She snapped, before her eyes focused on red hair and emerald eyes. "Hi," she whispered, softly.

"Hi," he whispered back, sending her his lopsided grin. "I missed you. So much"

"I missed you so much too," she said, causing him to chuckle. Slowly their faces inched closer and closer until they could feel each other's breath on their faces. Wally leaned in and his lips connect with hers. The kiss was slow and passionate, both parties wanting to relish the feel of the other's lips on theirs. Wally deepened the kiss before someone awkwardly cleared their throat.

Wally and Artemis pulled away and looked at Nightwing who had his signature smirk on his face. "Uh, you guys done?"

"No," Wally growled, before pulling his girlfriend into another quick short kiss. "Okay, now we're done," he said, pulling her up and onto her feet. "For now..." he added quietly so only Artemis could hear.

"Alright, so what do we know so far?" Nightwing asked, ignoring everyone else in the room. His attention was now solely focused on Kaldur, Wally and Artemis.

"As we know of at this moment is that The Light and The Reach are planning a summit on the 19th. We are not aware of who specifically shall be attending this summit, but we have a few guesses on who might arrive. The only people we are certain that will be present are Vandal Savage and Ra's Al Ghul." Kaldur explained.

"We're not sure whether or not the more public members of The Light and Shadows are gonna be there but I think Savage said something about bringing Icicle Jr. or The Brain to the summit." Artemis added, as Wally casually wrapped his arms around her waist and dropped his head onto her shoulder.

"Look, I've been remarkably patient. You know, for me. But what the hell is going on here?!" Conner interrupted.

"Yeah, first Kaldur and Tigress show up. Then you guys show up, then Wally kisses Tigress, three months after Artemis... passed away. Wally, I know I told you that you have to get out of the house and exercise but I didn't mean to exercise like that! I meant to just get into shape." M'gann said.

"Uh, what's M'gann talking about? I know I 'died' but I'm here now." Artemis asked, raising an eyebrow at Nightwing and Kaldur. Nightwing and Kaldur eyed her up and down, trying to figure out what M'gann was talking about.

"I am quite certain that the team do not know who you are because of the glamour charm that is around your neck at the moment." Kaldur said, gesturing to his own neck. Wally tightened his grip on her when Kaldur mentioned the charm.

"What are you talking about? What's a glamour charm? And more importantly, WHY ARE TIGRESS AND THIS TRATIOR HERE????" Mal asked.

"This is kind of why I called you all here right now. Well you see..." Nightwing rubbed the back of his neck, unsure how he could break the news to the team.

"Spit it out already!" Batgirl cried out.

Nightwing opened his mouth to say something but he was interrupted by Artemis pulling off the charm. "I'm alive." she stated. Everyone gaped at her, not knowing how to react. M'gann and Zatanna's faces contorted of relief, happiness then anger at Nightwing.

"ARTEMIS!" M'gann screamed, racing over to the blonde. Wally unwrapped his arms and M'gann pulled her earth sister in a tight embrace. "You... you're alive?" she sobbed into Artemis' shoulder.

"I'm alive." she reassured, wrapping her own arms around the martian. Slowly everyone came out of their shock, before Artemis said, "Kaldur isn't even a traitor, he's been undercover this whole time." This sentence sent them back into their shocked states. M'gann loosened her arms as Zatanna walked up to them and wrapped her arms around both girls. Zatanna unwrapped her arms and walked up to Nightwing.

"So, that's what you needed a glamour charm for." she said, crossing her arms and glaring daggers at the 18 year old.

"Y-yes?" Dick said, cringing at his stutter.

Zatanna slapped him across the face, causing everyone to snicker. "Do that again and you won't live to see another day." she stomped back over to where the rest of the team were crowding and pulled her best friend into another bear hug.

"Du-de! You just got slapped in the f-face by your e-ex." Wally wheezed laughing, holding onto his abdomen.

"You know, I'm surprised you let go of Artemis. I would've thought that you would never let her out of your sight again." Dick said, rubbing his cheek.

"Oh, trust me. She's never leaving arms length ever again, once the mission's over." Wally said seriously, watching his girlfriend be embraced by everyone.

"Happy birthday babe," Artemis said, as she sat in front of the love of her life's grave. "I miss you so so much. It's been a year now... a-and," her voice cracked as she tried to hold in her tears. "I know I say this every time but I'm so sorry. If I hadn't taken that stupid mission then we wouldn't be in this situation." The 22 year old blonde felt a tear slip out of her eye but she didn't bother to wipe it away. "I spoke with Dinah last week after Zee and M'gann dragged me there. Dinah said that I have depression and PTSD. Sh-she gave me some pills, said it would 'help' with my 'condition'." Artemis said, using quotation marks around the word 'help' and 'condition'. "God, my life's a mess right now. I wish will all my heart that you were here right now. Here to hold me and tell me that everything was gonna be okay and that you were here for me... but you aren't. You aren't h-here to give me hugs whenever I'm st-stressed. You a-aren't here to whisper f-funny nonsense in my ear every time I get a right answer on my c-chemistry homework. You aren't here to b-blow up my phone with c-cute voicemails and a-adorable texts. You aren't here to k-kiss me whenever I'm in you're sight. You a-aren't here anymore. You haven't b-been here for the p-past year." The blonde was now silently crying, but that didn't stop her from talking. "Y-you aren't here to hold my h-hand whenever you t-think someone looks at me strangely. You aren't here t-to calm me d-down when I have n-nightmares. The only thing I have left of you is Brucely, our house and our o-old m-memories. Brucely just stares at the door, waiting for you to come back. The house is empty and cold with your happiness. A-and it feels like our memories are f-fading. it's like no matter how hard I try, it's taking me longer and longer to remember you. I don't want to forget you, Baywatch. But it's getting so hard, I don't know why. Mom said that the first thing people usually forget is the sound of the someone's voice so, I've been playing your voicemails at night. M'gann thought I should start to get rid of some of your clothes. But I don't want to throw anything away. I want things the way they were before I took that stupid mission! Ugh!! I hate it! I hate living without you! I hate the thought of coming home and you're not there waiting for me, ready to take my backpack from and ask me about my day. I hate coming home to an empty house! I hate everything now! I hate you, Baywatch!" Artemis screamed, before she broke down sobbing.

"Yowch babe. If I had known you hated me so much, I wouldn't of come back." Artemis froze, hearing the familiar voice. The same one who would comfort her whenever she had a nightmare. The same voice who would leave ridiculous but adorable voicemails on her phone. The exact same voice who had told her that he loved her barely 2 hours before he died.

That voice belonged to Wallace Rudolph West.

Artemis whipped her head behind so quickly that she saw stars but they quickly left when she saw the man before her. He had the same fiery red hair that was absolutely untameable. The same gorgeous green eyes she had fell in love with, the ones that held so much love in them whenever they were looking at her. He had the same faded freckles, the same ones he out grew when they were 16. He had the same wolfish grin he always had sitting on his face, the same one he always had on when they were teens. He had the same everything. Because it was him. It was her Baywatch.

"W-wally?" Artemis asked, in disbelief. She didn't blink afraid that the second she did, he would disappear again.

"Artemis," Wally sighed. "I'm back, babe. I know it seems unbelievable but I swear I'm back. Speedster's hono-oof." Wally felt the air leave his lungs as Artemis ran and crashed in him, causing him to fall to the ground, sobbing in his arms.

"You're back! I-I can't b-believe you're b-back!!" She cried, as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders and burying her face in his neck.

"Well, you better believe it, Beautiful. Cause I'm never leaving you again. Even if I have to glue or staple or duct-tape myself to you. I, Wallace Rudolph West, am never leaving you, Artemis Lian Crock. I love you so much, more than food, and you know how much I love food." Artemis laughed into his neck, smiling an actual smile for the first time in a year.

"God, I forgot how corny you can be."

"Shut up, I know you love it." he said, waggling his eyebrows at her. Artemis giggled at her boyfriend, playfully shoving his face away.

"Don't ask me why, because even I don't know but I do."

"That's because you love me!" Wally teased.

"Shut it, West. Or I might just have to kill again myself." Artemis threatened

"Oooh I'm so scared! Someone please help me." Wally said, placing a hand over his forehead and dramatically falling, before sitting back up.

"I missed you... so so much." She said, seriously.

"I know, I missed you too, Beautiful." He said, as he stroked her cheek affectionately. "I love you." Wally said, pressing his forehead against hers.

"I love you too, Wally." Artemis said, before she closed the small gap between them, for the first time in over a year. "And by the way... I don't hate you." She mumbled against his lips, causing him to pull away and laugh.

"Seriously?" he fake gasped. "I had no idea!"

"Oh shut up, Baywatch."

"What?!" he asked, innocently.

"You know full well 'What'. Don't go and act all innocent, Kid. I know you better than anyone." Wally grinned at her words.

"Can we go home now? I wanna go see Brucely."

"Sure, Baywatch. Oh and happy birthday." she said, helping him stand up.

Wally grinned, "Happy birthday to me!"

Happy Belated Valentine’s Day

Artemis walked down the stairs that led down to her apartment mailbox. She had no idea why she was going, Wally had been dead for six months now, maybe it was to keep their tradition alive or maybe it was just hope. Or maybe she had gone crazy but whatever it was, it led Artemis out the door and down the stairs to the mailbox. She stood in front metal box looking to see if there was any new changes to the outer part of the box before she looked inside. As she looked she thought back to the first she did this, nearly 6 six years.

~~~ 6 years ago~~~

Gotham City

February 15, 13:34 EDT

It was the day after Valentine's day and Artemis was pissed to say the least. Her idiotic boyfriend had forgotten Valentine's day! I mean sure they've only been dating for 2 months but seriously! Was it too much for a simple text? Too much for phone call? And when she confronted him, he had the gall to look at her confused and ask 'What're you so mad about?'

She didn't say anything, instead she chose to turn and walk towards the zeta tubes. Faintly before she was teleported away, Artemis thought she heard Robin yell 'It's Valentine's day, ya dumbass!'

It's been 14 hours now and she hasn't responded to a single one of his texts nor has she answered any of his calls. She knew he was sorry but it kind of hurt thinking that everyone else had a gotten something for Valentine's day while she was left with nothing but her anger at her oblivious boyfriend. I mean for Pete's sake, M'gann even decorated the entire cave with pink and red streamers and heart shaped balloons! Who on earth would miss something like that?! Wallace Rudolph West apparently.

The blonde sighed as she heard her mother call her name, "Artemis! Can you go get the mail?" she asked from the kitchen.

"Yeah sure, mom." Artemis called back, as she rolled off her bed. She walked over to the front door and pulled on her favorite leather jacket and slipped on her combat boots before she walked out the front door. She walked down three flights of stairs and walked out the main doors; she strolled over to a mailbox with the name 'Crock' written on it and opened it.

Inside was a gorgeous yellow rose, along with with a card. On the front of the card, it read 'Happy Valentine's day' but someone added a 'belated' to it, so it now read 'Happy belated Valentine's day'. Artemis flipped open the card and there read one of the corniest things she has ever read. It read:

"Roses are red And though one isn't You know I love you, even though I forgot a present I may have forgotten that it's Valentine's But I'll always remember that you are mine"

Artemis couldn't help but roll her eyes at the first line but she had tiny unshed tears there as she continued to read. She shook her head as she continued to reread the card. "Happy belated Valentine's day, beautiful." A familiar voice said behind her. Turning around she saw the person who had caused her so much annoyance in the past 14 1/2 hours. Wally stood there wearing a white button down shirt, rubbing the back of his neck as he gave her a smile.

"So, this how your apologizing? By giving me a rose, a card and dressing up nicely?" She asked incredulously.

"Ummmm, yes?" Wally tried to sound confident but his words sounded more like a question.

"Hm," she hummed. Wally closed his eyes, afraid she might yell at him or even throw the flowers at him and break up with him on the him on the spot but he was caught off guard when she wrapped her arms around his neck and gave him a peck on the cheek. "Good, because I love it." she said, as she nuzzled closer to him. "But don't you ever do that again, or I might just have to break up with you."

Wally's eyes widen before returning to their normal size. "I promise I won't forget next year. Happy belated Valentine's day, beautiful." She let out a giggle before she returned his words.

~~~Present Time~~~

Every year after that he would end up forgetting Valentine's day and every year he would give her a yellow rose and a card with a corny poem in it. After their second year of dating he started to give her a red rose as well, and each time she asked him why, he would give her a different answer, "It's ketchup and mustard!", "It's the colors of Kid Flash duh!", "Yellow and red make orange and orange is fire!" and so on.

Artemis sighed, she couldn't find anything different on the outside of the box. It looked the exact same as it did two days ago, old and rusty but still it stood tall holding every piece of mail she and Wally have every received. She hesitated slightly before reaching forward and opening the small box, sighing when there was nothing in there.

She could feel tears burning in her eyes, threatening to fall. She knew that there wasn't going to be anything in there but a tiny part of her wished that she would find her red and yellow rose and her cheesy Valentine's day card. She was closing the mailbox's lid when something caught her attention, she blinked through her clouded vision and she gasped.

Inside was the box was a yellow and red rose weaved together with a pink and red card that read "Happy belated Valentine's day!" laying on top of the roses. She carefully picked up the card and opened it and practically cried her eyes out when she saw the familiar writing:

"Roses are red But the yellow ones mean so much more After I disappeared from you You thought I'd miss it just like before In those 6 months that I was lost I'd thought our paths would never cross I'm sorry I left you in those icy plains But I promise to never leave you again"

She couldn't believe her eyes, looking around she couldn't see anyone through her hazy vision. "You like my present, beautiful?" she heard that oh so familiar voice that she had dreamed about hearing for the past six months. She couldn't move, couldn't turn around, couldn't do anything but listen to his sweet comforting voice.

"Please be real! Please!" Artemis rasped out, as she silently cried. Tears pouring out of eyes like a waterfall as she collapsed to her knees just like she did all those months ago.

Wally immediately raced over to her and wrapped his warm muscular arms around her shaking body. "Shhhh, it's okay. It's okay, let it all out. I'm right here and I'm never leaving again. I promise." He whispered into her ear, whilst gently rubbing her back as she continued to sob loudly into his chest. After crying for god knows how long, Artemis finally composed herself as she looked at Wally for the first time. His hair was longer and he had a couple of tiny scraps on his face but other than that he was same old Wally. Her Wally. Her goofy, funny loving boyfriend. Her Baywatch. "Happy belated Valentine's day, beautiful." he said, with his gorgeous goofy grin. The same one where she could not resist grinning back at.

"Happy belated Valentine's day, Baywatch." she said, as he carried her bridal style back into their apartment.
