Amanda trusts Mortimer way more than she trusts Riley (Ruckus) during the whole investigation, because one, Rileys a scientist (and I doubt she or Wooly would trust any scientist anytime soon) and two, Mortimer has gone through similar experiences, being unable to reach out to the outside world for help while being tortured behind the scenes at a young age.

He hates to see it happen to anyone else and he's determined to bring justice to these kids as well as all the other victims

Amanda does trust Scout though despite Scout working with Riley, because she DID help them escape (and Scout is very cool)

i noticed it a couple of times in your pictures (mostly those that are uh. you cannot show here) that you draw Burakh with tavro signs on his body. are these tatoos? scars? something else? and on a similar topic, how do you apply these symbols on herb brides when you draw them? do you do this based on their meanings (though as far as i'm concerned most of them haven't been given any clear meanings by the developers) or just randomly?

they're scars! specifically scars i give him when i draw him in the ATA Extended Universe, meaning the drawing Exists with my fic's lore behind it :3 i'm not saying which chapters the scars show up you're just gonna have to read the thing. teehee giggle.

on burakh, they're all sigils that exist within the game's lore, either of those

all kinda flowing into one another. as you can read in the first link, some of these sigils have meanings, and some don't, so i pick and choose what i feel is right. what i Fuck Wit.

as for the Brides, their models and/or character concepts come with sigils already smeared on.

depending on whether or not i follow their models precisely, follow them loosely, or go balls to the wall with my own concepts, i either replicate the exact same sigils at the same place, put other sigils in the same or other places, or take inspiration from the placements and lines of them to draw on my own brides. i either reuse the sigils i posted above, some others drawn on these brides that don't appear on the sigil sheet, or i make some up following the same design patterns as the canon sigils. since besides a few the sigils have no canon meanings i just go cuckoo. some patterns i tend to re-use when i draw Herb Brides are the facepaint-bride's elongated sigils on the thighs and knees, the flower bride's back-of-thigh sigil that looks inspired by mongolian traditional script and her chest-painted sigils, and those on the arms. I try to leep the sigils on places where the Brides could have drawn them themselves, as i think that's what they do for the most part.

some quick notes from the episode in ATA where it's wooly's birthday while I'm watching it being played through (I found a full playthrough of the game so I'm rewatching this part)

Amanda is kinda depressed during this episode and kinda seems like she's giving up on going with this whole act

wooly also has the power to influence the items around them just like amanda can to make you choose stuff. he just usually decides not to use it.

this makes me think amanda and the monster are definitely separate beings with how she acts here. she seems like she doesn't actually want to hurt the player.

the "demon" can also likely influence what's happening in the show because of the part where amanda can't change it from only being the butcher shop around. it also seems to (of course) have more power with it than amanda and wooly do.

second time through this episode, and so far I'm sure this is one of the more important things to the lore n stuff especially with the intentions behind amanda and wooly

I'll post the full theory I have especially related to this episode once I'm done watching the playthrough (so tomorrow)

the lore/monster of ata actually fucking ruins me it makes me so sad. amanda isnt a murderous monster shes a traumatized MURDERED child who is possessed by a demon that manifests DURING TIMES OF EMOTIONAL DISTRESS. shes like fucking NINE and is stuck in this cycle of like, she cant even PROCESS the insanely fucked up shit she's gone through or else she'll turn into a monster. shes a young little girl who went through so much before being adopted just to LOSE HER DAD (POTENTIALLY AGAIN) AND GET FUCKING POSSESSED BECAUSE A COMPANY BOUGHT HER DADS SHOW... its so unfair and its so upsetting

even in the good ending theres just not like ?? REALLY a happy ending for amanda, at least not yet. the only thing you can do is break the tv but that just breaks the vessel shes in... or not even IN because i think shes in the TAPES not the tv. so. you haven't really done anything except make it not your problem anymore.
