I was just reading this interview to the Producer of Donbros vs Zenkai Shinichiro Shirakura and, between Google Translate (You know, the BIGGEST of all pinches of salt) 3 things were highlighted in the article.

1- It seems the reason this have 3 parts (Donbros, Zenkai, Vs) is because they felt both teams are too different so they wanted for both to have time to shine on their own before been mixed, because they weren't 100% sure what was going to come out of this it seems. (I'm like "This is the main reason I want to watch this Movie, come on").

2- The Donbros cast was apparently very surprised when they saw Kiita Komagine acting Zenkai!Kaito live for the first time. Like they weren't expecting that level of energy and the only comment they had was "Oh, so this is Zenkai". (In my humble, fan from the other side of the ocean who doesn't speak their language, opinion, it seems to me Komagine-san is trying extra hard on the promotional shots to make Zenkai!Kaito even more distinct from Donbros!Kaito. I don't know if this a direction from the producers or something he did on his own, its just a feel I have).

3- He's very proud of the Art Department, since they could change Donbura into Colorful and back without changing the floor and the wallpaper. There's a scene in which Colorful changes to Donbura (And viceversa? Transition? Not sure) and the Art Department was very particular during that scene.

(Again, if someone actually knows japanese and can tell me if I'm correct or not, please do)
