omgosh AWEA ! ! i will be in ur inbox supes shortly to bug u more about awealuc mermaid au bcos i Wub d idea of u as a siren n diluc as a pirate ! :D is he swayed easily by ur singing when he first hears it . . are you two afraid of each other ?? curious , maybe ? 🥺 so many questions WAAAAH wait for mi in ur inbox fwiend ! !

i hv honestly never given any thought to a haico mermaid au but now that i imagine it in m head — it cld be so fun n sweet ! ‎٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و�� i imagine mi as da mermaid here n haithie as a marine biologist . as for how we'd meet ?? mmm i cn see m'self getting hurt , from a shark attack or gash wounds frm getting caught in nets , n wash up ashore not too far from his house ( a cozy lil shack by da beach :3 ) . he'd catch sight of me when he goes out early in the morning for a surf n finds me passed out n bleeding over the sand . . . i probably wouldn't end up waking up until Hours later , a great deal of time after he's finished patching me up

when i dooo wake up , im mostly curious n excited over anything else ! ! :D i dont think i'd be the type to be afraid of humans if i were a mermaid — the inherent need to explore n learn about everything i dont know runs through m veins in every au in every lifetime lulz . it's vrie quiet between us at first , no words exchanged or anything . jus' soft inquisitive gazes n gentle smiles n me watching him scribble doodles of m tail + notes into his diary ♡

i dont think he expects me to grow attached to him but . . i vrie much do >< when it's sun down he tries to get me to go back to the sea but i kinda jus . . . stay sitting there by his feet . . flapping m tail n making a scene of petulance when he gets up to go back home LOL uhmm . . n i fink that is where our friendship starts ! he gets to study me in return for his companionship which i so desperately crave after living a life by myself :3 there's a small cove by his shack so after a few weeks of knowing each other , he moves me to it n that way we are more accessible to each other ! ! yaaay :D ! !

he teaches me about his world ( + also teaches me english ehe ) n i teach him about my world n over time . . . our feelings grow into something beyond friendship n n n ! ! i think we slip into a romantic relationship rather easily after that :3 al haitham is just That kind of guy to mi ! ! like if u're fwiends w him it is so easy to fall in luvf ( boff' ways . . ) bcos he already favours you n . it saves him so much time n energy to simply go from friends -> lovers
