My favorite thing about Tangled: The Series is that they looked at Eugene and went "Okay, this guy's been a career criminal most of his life let's do something with that." Also that he's goofy and self centered like in the movie but also actually competent. In the movie his bragging all feels a bit like posturing but the show went "No, he was actually that good."

Like, he doesn't play a major role he's just there and nobody comments on it because its the 19th Century in Kalos they probably haven't heard about what happened in Hisui and even if they did they probably wouldn't know the specifics.

I love that Trucy canonically goes to school. Cause you never really think about that since we never see her there (makes sense that's not what the series is about) and she's so eccentric.

Okay, so, we all know (and by "we all" I mean insane people like me who remember random things that happen in Pokemon games) that in ORAS Looker washes up on the shore of the Battle Resort with no memories heavily implying he might be a Faller (also heavily implying Sun and Moon were in development at the same time as ORAS which holy shit). So what if Looker appears in Legends ZA... but he's not a Faller like Ingo in Legends Arceus, this is when he's originally from.

It could work. His outfit's fairly timeless I could see him in 1850s France (Haussmann's renovation of Paris, which Legends ZA is probably inspired by, took place from 1853 to 1870) without much trouble. Also, and I have no source for this, I remember reading somewhere that in the Japanese version he has an odd speech pattern in Platinum that he drops in X and Y, implying Kalosian (French) is his native language.
