Randomly saw you rating RWBY pairings, and figured I'd throw my own ot3 into the ring.

Whiterose+Young Maria Calavera.

Death's Whiterose, or Scythe Queen.

You've got Weiss getting 2 silver eyes warriors, and she deserves only the best. She has 2 people who don't care about her family name, or money. Both dark hair, silver eyes, and taller than her (she has a type you see).

Ruby gets a silver eyed mentor, and friends to help her improve. Maria gets someone else who understands her eyes burden, and people she can trust who love her for who she is and not her name/rep.

They're all lonely people who are missing at least one parent finding

They have counterpoints in their theme songs for each other, and complimentary colors, and battle sass? Off the charts!

You just gotta make it an au where Maria is the same age, or use time travel, or something. My favorite is doing a john tyler's grandson on her.

I think it's cute! I see your points, Ruby does need someone to teach her about her silver eyes and I think it would be cute to have that person be her partner.

Plus whiterose - what's there not to like about whiterose? WR is and has been my main otp since I began watching rwby.

Though... I know Younger Maria Calavera is a baddie, but I can't stop picturing her as Ruby's cranky old grandma xD So not sure if Death's Whiterose is for me.

My unpopular opinion about this character - she hasn't shown any remorse for what she's done under cinder's orders. she doesn't care that she killed tukson, she doesn't care that she was part of cinder mortally wounding amber or killing penny or pyrrha, she doesn't care that she was part of the fall of beacon, she enjoyed rwby + co's suffering during the battle for haven, and currently doesn't regret any of it. she's scared bc her (perceived) mother figure (abuser) is suddenly gone, which leaves her at the mercy of salem and her cabal, but she doesnt actually regret any of it.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon. - please please please give her a new outfit and let her redeem herself to rwby and also maybe let her become the fall maiden and kill cinder

My Thoughts:

Nothing really surprising for the Qualifying Series results. Bees Schnee Vs. Nora's Arc was the only real match involving two decently popular ships, and the results of each match shows that fact pretty well. With that one being the only one you could really describe as being anywhere near close.

Hopefully this next series should be a little bit closer.

My Predictions:

M1: Could be a close one, but I'm leaning a little bit more towards Ghira x Kali x Willow winning.

M2: Jaune x Penny x Ruby wins, and I don't think it'll be that close.

M3: As much as I love Rosebush Knight, I named the damn thing after all, it's not beating Gilded Rose.

M4: I'll give the edge to Jaune x Ruby x Yang, but I can see it going either way.

M5: Weiss x Pyrrha x Yang is going to win in a landslide.

M6: I'll give the edge to War Of The Roses.

M7: Tossup. Maybe a small advantage to Summer x Qrow x Taiyang.

M8: I'll go with Blake x Sun x Yang, but I think it'll be very close.

We shall see who will be the champion of OT3s. At least for RWBY and out of the OT3s I personally enjoy.

But a champion shall be crowned!

Rules:

This is a double elimination tournament. Whenever a pairing looses a match they will be transferred to the elimination bracket. If they lose again they'll be permanently eliminated.

Rematches will go to the character who won the previous match.

4 matches will be held a day, or all matches remaining in a round.

This is for fun. Don't treat it like a IRL election. Be civil.
