So like I finished my book by junji Ito, well it’s based off of the novel by osamu dazai and for how dazai specifically died based even off of the bsd character im concerned for fans-

I guess some people don’t exactly know that the bsd character dazai is based off of a real person who indeed comitted a double su!c!d3 so when in a way you joke about being a dazai kinnie and doing one of those double unalivents a real person actually did it and I find it funny that osamus girlfriends name was tomie yk if ur a big junji Ito fan you’d understand who tomie is

To be specific and to just put this down tomie is indeed a fictional character of junjis work but that doesn’t mean the name and how she looked wasn’t based off of osamus girlfriend and for how bsd dazai and real dazai are explained is very similar unlike tomie and yk the other tomie

With mental health struggles and jokes being the way we cope with those struggles I find it fascinating that we don’t like it when others joke but we do, I mean yes it’s triggering if you went through that but it’s also not empathetic for you to make the same, but we all are different I guess.
