As many Boston restaurants pivot to different takeout and/or delivery options, we thought that it would be important to keep track of them all. You can’t eat at restaurants, but you can still support them by ordering their food. This directory is organized by neighborhood, and outlines the status of each restaurant, what they’re offering (delivery, takeout, etc.), and what platforms they’re on. If the restaurant is marked as closed, please consider visiting their website and purchasing merchandise or gift cards from them.

Right now, this isn’t a directory of every restaurant in every neighborhood, but we want to get as close as possible. We’ll be updating this guide daily - so if you don’t see your neighborhood spot, or if you’ve got a restaurant takeout or delivery tip, let us know at [email protected].

All Star Sandwich Bar, and their sister pizza spot across the street, will continue to have takeout and delivery options through Grubhub. The Island Jerk Chicken Melt, already a favorite of ours, is just what we all need right now.

Curio Coffee $$$$ 441 Cambridge St

This great Cambridge coffee shop is still offering orders to-go, which means you can still get waffles throughout the day. Since the space is quite small and social distancing is important, you’ll have to place your order online ahead of time. They’re offering wine on the weekends too.

Loyal Nine $ $ $ $ American in Cambridge , East Cambridge $$$$ 660 Cambridge St 8.2 /10

We’re very happy to report that Loyal Nine is back open for takeout, Wed-Sun from 12-6pm. The espresso and coffee bar is also open. Pre-order on their website, or just walk up to their patio counter.

Bambara $$$$ 25 Edwin H Land Blvd

Bambara, located inside the Kimpton Marlowe Hotel, is open for takeout and delivery from 4:30-8pm, Tues-Sat. Visit their website for more information.

1369 Coffee House $$$$ 1369 Cambridge St

Cambridge coffee shop 1369 has closed its two locations, but they are doing local deliveries of cold-brew growlers and whole-bean coffee. You can also donate coffee to a first responder when you place an order on their website.

Sofra $ $ $ $ Mediterranean in Cambridge , West Cambridge $$$$ 1 Belmont St 8.9 /10

Sofra was closed for a short period of time, but they’re now open again from Wed-Sun for takeout. It’s a shorter menu than we’re used to, but we’ll take sesame caramel bites and chocolate hazelnut baklava any day. Place your orders here.

Bisq $ $ $ $ American in Cambridge , Inman Square $$$$ 1071 Cambridge St. 8.7 /10

Bisq is one of our favorite spots, and they’re currently offering fried chicken dinners for two, a few small plates, and cocktail mixers to-go. You’ll have to call (617) 714-3693 to order and choose a time slot between 3-6pm on Fri and Sat for pickup. The menu may change weekly, so follow along on Instagram for updates.

India Pavilion $$$$ 17 Central Sq

Central Square spot India Pavilion is open for takeout and delivery from 4-10pm daily on GrubHub. There appear to be a couple of special offers available right now, including a free mango lassi for any order over $30.

Alive & Kicking Lobsters $ $ $ $ Seafood in Cambridge $$$$ 269 Putnam Ave Not

Alive & Kicking is a lobster shack that’s right in the middle of Cambridge, which is quite a sight to take in. They’re still open from 11am daily, selling whole lobsters and their famed lobster sandwiches to-go.

Hi-Rise Bread Company $$$$ 208 Concord Ave

Hi-Rise, one of our favorite local bakeries, is open at their Concord location for curbside pickup every day starting at 11am. They have bread and cookies available, but also a wide variety of flowers, pantry and produce items, and wine as well. Place an order on their website.

Tasty Burger $$$$ 40 JFK St

The Harvard Square location of the burger spot that was inspired by Pulp Fiction is now back open daily between 11am-8pm for delivery and takeout. Delivery orders can be made through Uber Eats, while takeout pre-orders can be placed online.

Talulla $$$$ 377 Walden St

Talulla in Cambridge is back open for takeout only between 4:30-8:30pm, Wed-Sun. They’re also relaunching their “Casseroles For A Cause” program, where every casserole ordered will provide bagged lunches for school kids in Cambridge. Place an order on their website.

Sugar & Spice Restaurant $$$$ 1933 Massachusetts Ave

Sugar & Spice Thai took a little breather, but they’re back open again for takeout and delivery. They’re still also doing their amazing “Free Meal Sundays,” where anyone can pick up free fried rice between 12-2:30pm, no questions asked.

Forage $$$$ 5 Craigie Cir

Forage, the farm-to-table bistro in Cambridge, is open for takeout. Most of the menu items are for stocking your pantry (house-made yogurt and smoked trout, for instance), but there are some more substantial options like pulled pork and chili available as well. Also, don’t miss their ice-creams, sorbets, and extensive wine list. Find the full menu on their website.

Le’s Sushi Bar in Cambridge has an amazingly large menu that includes phở, udon, Korean BBQ, and sushi. It’s all available for takeout and delivery on virtually every platform.

Highland Fried $$$$ 1271 Cambridge St

Highland Fried, the sister restaurant of Somerville’s Highland Kitchen, is open from 3-8:30pm, Wed-Sun for takeout and delivery of things like buttermilk biscuits, burgers, BBQ ribs, and fried chicken, of course. Go to their website to place an order.

Casa Portugal $ $ $ $ Portuguese in Inman Square $$$$ 1200 Cambridge St 7.8 /10

If you’re really craving great seafood, then you should order from Casa Portugal. This spot is open Wed-Sun from 12-6pm - we recommend the Caldeirada á Portuguêsa. Call (617) 491-8880 to place your order.

Corazon De Frida $$$$ 1287 Cambridge St

Corazon de Frida opened right before the quarantine, and they’re still serving Mexican food staples like quesadillas, burritos, and tacos from 2-9pm daily. Place your order on Uber Eats.

Cafe Luna $$$$ 612 Main St

Cafe Luna is a breakfast and lunch spot in Central Square that’s open for takeout and delivery from 9am-2pm on the weekdays. They’re also open for brunch on the weekends.

Revival Cafe $$$$ 125 Cambridgepark Dr

Cambridge cafe Revival Kitchen is open for takeout and delivery, offering things like meal packages for two and a selection of coffee and grocery items. Their menu changes weekly, so go to their website or Instagram for more information.

Seafood-centric spot Puritan & Co. is open daily from 4-8pm for takeout, with beer and wine available as well. The braised beef short ribs with grilled corn polenta sounds pretty great. Place an order on their website.

Formaggio Kitchen $$$$ 244 Huron Ave

Formaggio is open from 9am-5pm, Mon-Sat, and 10am-4pm on Sundays. While there’s only a limited amount of prepared food each day, they do have a lot of cheese, charcuterie, pasta, and sauces available. Delivery is $5 within two miles of the store - go to their website to place an order.

Pagu $ $ $ $ Japanese , Spanish , Fusion , Tapas in Cambridge , Central Square $$$$ 310 Massachusetts Avenue 8.7 /10

Cambridge Japanese-Spanish spot Pagu is open daily with a limited takeout and delivery menu, from 12-5pm. Don’t worry - it still includes suckling pig pork belly baos and a ramen survival kit for four. Orders should be placed here.

Cafe Mami $$$$ 1815 Massachusetts Ave

This Japanese spot inside of Lesley’s Porter building is open for takeout. Call ahead at (617) 547-9130 to ask for the daily menu and place an order.

Darwin's Ltd. $$$$ 148 Mount Auburn St

Three of the four Darwin’s stores are open for takeout, and you can place your order ahead of time on their website. Sandwiches are also available for delivery. The Mount Auburn location is offering fresh produce and beer as well.

Moona $ $ $ $ Mediterranean in Inman Square $$$$ 243 Hampshire St 7.0 /10

Mediterranean spot Moona in Inman Square is open for takeout and contactless delivery. They have a chicken tagine and roast lamb family dinner for two to six people, if you’re looking for a feast. Place an order on their website.

Alden & Harlow $ $ $ $ American in Cambridge , Harvard Square $$$$ 40 Brattle St 8.0 /10

It’s a bit of a stretch to say that Alden & Harlow is back open, considering they’ve only had one “pop-up” takeout day so far. But they’re announcing future takeout days on Instagram, and all the food we had here prior to the pandemic was stellar, so we think it’s a passable stretch.

Gustazo Cuban Kitchen & Bar $ $ $ $ Latin , Cuban in Cambridge , Porter Square $$$$ 2067 Massachusetts Ave 8.4 /10

Cuban restaurant Gustazo is offering a limited lunch and dinner menu for takeout and delivery (though it still includes truffled yucca fries). Place an order on their website.

Summer Shack Cambridge $$$$ 149 Alewife Brook Pkwy

Summer Shack Cambridge has reopened for takeout and delivery on a variety of different platforms, which means you can once again have 3 lb lobsters with bourbon and chives for dinner. Orders over $30 also come with a free cup of chowder.

Honeycomb Creamery $$$$ 1702 Massachusetts Ave

After a short break, Honeycomb Creamery is back with its amazing ice-cream, available for pickup and delivery through its website. We’re definitely considering the Horchata and Matcha Pistachio essential items. By the way, they’re also selling yeast.

S&S Restaurant $$$$ 1334 Cambridge St

Inman Square deli S&S is open for takeout between 11am-7pm daily. The takeout menu is available on their website, and orders can be placed over the phone at (617) 354-0777

EHChocolatier $$$$ 145 Huron Ave

Artisan chocolate shop EHChocolatier is offering their sweets for takeout and delivery. If you elect to do takeout, note that they have limited hours from 10am-2pm, Mon-Fri.

Royal East Restaurant $$$$ 792 Main St

Royal East in Cambridge has a pretty large menu, but we suggest sticking with the more Malaysian dishes like roti canai and curry fish filet. Takeout and delivery is available from 11:30am-9:30pm daily.

Iggy's Bread of the World $$$$ 130 Fawcett St

This Cambridge bakery is open from 7am-4pm daily, for curbside pickup and home delivery. Their stellar sourdough, granola, and chocolate chunk cookies are all available.

Boston Burger Company $$$$ 1105 Massachusetts Ave

Boston Burger is open for takeout and delivery at Harvard Square, Davis Square, and Fenway. Place an order on their website, or through UberEats and DoorDash.

Bondir $ $ $ $ American , Experimental in Cambridge , The Port $$$$ 279A Broadway Not

Farm-to-table spot Field & Vine is open for takeout Tues-Sat between 5-8pm, with things like carrot salad, braised oxtail stew, fried chicken, and a number of natural wines. Order your dinner here.

Highland Kitchen $$$$ 150 Highland Ave

There are a lot of great things at Highland Kitchen, but the buffalo brussels sprouts might be our favorite. Get that, shrimp and grits, and some banana bread pudding for takeout and delivery - more information on their website.

Barra $$$$ 23A Bow St

Barra, a bar and Mexican small plates spot in Union Square, is making enchiladas, blue corn tortillas, salsas, and drink mixers available to-go. Place an order on their website.

Union Square Donuts $$$$ 20 Bow St

Union Square Donuts is reopening slowly at their Somerville location - they’re currently taking pre-orders for weekend pickups, and asking for patience with new operational procedures. People get pretty fired up about fried dough, and we’d ask for patience too if we were running a donut shop.

Ebi Sushi $ $ $ $ Sushi in Somerville , Union Square $$$$ 290 Somerville Ave 8.0 /10

One of our favorite sushi restaurants Ebi has reopened for both takeout and delivery. We do, however, miss sitting at their sushi counter - eating at our stand-up desk isn’t quite as fun.

Revival Cafe $$$$ 197 Elm St

Revival Kitchen’s Davis Square location is now open for curbside pickup. Their full coffee menu is available, and they’re selling breakfast sandwiches and pastries too. Pre-orders must be placed online.

Petsi Pies - Beacon St. $$$$ 285 Beacon St

Somerville’s Petsi Pies - with savory and sweet pies, as well as a number of other pastry items - has now reopened for takeout and delivery. Takeout is available from Tues-Sat, 9am-3pm, while delivery is available on the same days from 9am-12pm. We’ve already placed an order for the roasted plum tomato, asparagus, and smoked mozzarella pie.

T&B Pizza $ $ $ $ Pizza in Somerville , Union Square $$$$ 251 Washington Not

Mortadella Head $$$$ 20 College Ave

Pizzas, subs, and pastas (including a cheesy chicken cutlet broccoli rabe lasagne) are all available for takeout and local delivery from this Davis Square Italian restaurant. Call in at (617) 996-6680 to place an order.

Mount Vernon Restaurant $$$$ 14 Broadway

East Somerville’s Mount Vernon Pub is open for takeout, and they’re offering very reasonable options like prime rib for two for only $27. Follow their Instagram for daily menus, and call (617) 666-3830 to place an order.

Avenue Kitchen + Bar $$$$ 158 Boston Ave

You probably didn’t know it, but what you’ve been craving is Detroit-style pizza, which can be found at Avenue Kitchen. They’re open from 4-9pm daily for takeout and delivery. By the way, every Friday they have two lobster rolls for $24, which is definitely a good deal. Visit their website to place an order.

The regular menu is available for takeout, along with nightly specials, and it’s all 25% off. The available hours shift a little bit from day-to-day, but 753 South usually opens around 4 or 5pm and closes at 8pm.

There are a number of interesting things to try at Bukhara, including the tandoori duck masala and the lentil dumplings with date chutney. Good thing they’re open every day from 11:30am-10pm, with delivery through Uber Eats.

We miss diners and their unbelievably large omelets. Harry’s can fix the omelet problem at least - they’re open from 7am-2:30pm daily. Place an order here.

One of the city’s best Dominican restaurants is currently providing one of the city’s best deals for either delivery or takeout: four complete stewed chicken meals for just $25. Other than the family-style meals, there are only a few dessert options, but they’re good ones, like the guava and cheese empanadas.

Delfino in Roslindale Square might be our favorite red sauce place in Boston. Our favorite dish on the menu, though, doesn’t contain red sauce at all - it’s the broccoli rabe linguine served with sausage made by an Italian butcher shop down the street. They’re doing takeout Tues-Sun starting at 3:30pm, with family-style meals available along with the regular menu.

Sophia's Grotto $$$$ 22 Birch St

Sophia’s entire Mediterranean menu is available for takeout every night, and for delivery on the weekends. You’ll pick up the food at the window that overlooks one of the city’s best outdoor patios and look ahead to better times.

Joe’s 320 Cafe $$$$ 320 Spring St

Joe’s 320 serves things like omelettes, steak wraps, and seafood cakes, and is open Wed-Sun from 9am-2pm for breakfast and lunch, and Thurs-Sat from 5-8pm for dinner. All orders should be placed on their website.

Sofia Italian Steakhouse $$$$ 1430 Vfw Pkwy

Sofia is open from 4-9pm daily. They have individual servings of things like lamb lollipops, filet mignon, and rigatoni bolognese, but they also have trays of arugula salads and chicken parm for 4-6 people. Orders both for takeout and delivery should be placed on their website.

While Bay Sweet isn’t technically a restaurant, this Mediterranean market does have spinach and meat pies, homemade hummus, and baklawa available, which is good enough for us.
