🎻 💯 🌴 🖤 for Carrie!
(for this)
🎻 (does your oc play any instruments? what is their skill level (beginner/intermediate/advanced/virtuoso/etc)?) - carrie has always taken more of an interest in dancing or listening than playing, but when she was younger she did take flute lessons. she later inherited her parent's flute on their passing (..to the tomb colonies), but she's never touched it since...
💯 (share three random facts about your oc that others may not know.) -
with the vake-steed, she regularly hunts zee-beasts, something which has given it a distinctly more peligin appearance. to her, these secretive hunts are a standard (but very much sacramental) thing to refresh her blood, heart, spirit, eyes, etc., and something it'd be a horrendous snub to not include her hunter-bat-thing in, given the pair's connection; to the former veils, this has been an inferior replacement for its own hunts, and probably some kind of betrayal of the spirit of their.. agreement? contract? binding?
her anger against laws of nature and the nature of permanent death doesn't mean she's against all kinds of killing - carrie often (comparatively often. not regularly) temporarily-kills others, sometimes (many times...) with lasting consequences for those killed. it's more or less a time-out for them, and if there's some accidental maiming, well, that's life. but of course perma-death is unacceptable
despite her hedonism, she's in some ways kind of boring as a person... almost 'no fun allowed', looks down on immaturity. not something i've properly shown so it counts for this in a meta way
🌴 (does your oc have a green thumb? do they enjoy gardening?) - if she grew anything other than mushrooms and occasional gifted hell-plants, she'd probably end up accidentally killing them, even ignoring being in a cave.. so it's a good thing she has no plans to try and import any surface plants. but also her still-living hell-plants (those which haven't been repossessed) are in a constant state of slight suffering
🖤 (has your oc killed or seriously wounded anyone before? have they broken someone's heart and/or broken someone's trust?) - she has certainly broken hearts and trust... having been an occasional homewrecker.... and she's damaged some promises in her life. but aside from that...
i guess the above point - about not perma-killing people - kind of answers this one? she's wounded quite a few enemies, acquaintances, and friends... there's been some, very few, who she's seriously injured and left to die. and, of course, some of those couldn't survive even a single death. most are sources of guilt, others she doesn't acknowledge ever happened. not a precise answer at all but this is me putting a pin in this to write more about later haha

Suncatcher glass clowns info (long post)
Temperament:
Suncatcher glass clowns are not a beginner breed. They can be difficult to care for and are best suited for those with experience in fragile teacup breeds, such as porcelain. They can shatter and crack, and while they can be put back together, scars and cracks will likely stay. They are generally non aggressive, but they can be energetic and mischievous at times. They use their flat bodies to play pranks on their owner, such as hiding inside the wall. Although they often don't think before hand how to get themselves out of a hiding spot. They are very playful and enjoy to run, jump, and climb, despite the fact they could be seriously injured by not being careful. Gentle handling is recommended. They are often fearless and brave, and will try and defend you like a scare clown would. They aren't really aware of their own fragility, even after surviving a breaking/cracking. Tent Details:
Suncatcher glass clowns enjoy many surfaces amd items to climb and play on. Many soft landing pads are recommended, as they often don't realize the consequences for not sticking the landing before its too late and they break. They enjoy making art, but traditional drawing can be difficult due to limited mobility, non toxic paint is a good option. They enjoy climbing surfaces, such as ropes and chains. They love sunny windows, and placing a rope or platform in front of one Is a good idea, as they love to be In front of it and cast rainbows throughout the room. Completely clear clowns may have trouble casting as vibrant rainbows their peers, which can cause distress at times. Muted, and neutral colored toys and tent are best, as Suncatcher glass clowns love being the brightest colored thing in the room. Even if your house is brightly colored, a dull secluded area where they can be the star of the show is still great. Be careful of crevices they can become stuck in, or dangerous corners and falls. Baby proofing is often essential to making sure they don't shatter themselves or get stuck under a table.Social Interaction
Suncatcher glass clowns are a very social breed. They often form family groups, and are very friendly with outsiders. Porcelain and other Suncatcher glass clowns make the best playmates, as they less likely to cause an accidental shattering. Though larger breeds can also interact with supervision, and if they are taught about being careful and gentle, testing with an uncooked egg can help see if they are ready yet. Suncatcher glass clowns often have large clutches of up to 70 small eggs, and will often try to provide care for every egg, even if it is way too much for them to handle. They are unlikely to abandon nests, offspring, and those they consider in their "group" willingly, even if they are sick, injured, or deceased.
Food:
Suncatcher glass clowns enjoy a wide variety of foods. They eat things closer to their wild counterparts would than most clowns. They enjoy vegetables, fruits, nuts, grasses, and even some mushrooms, though you should look up if a new food is toxic before feeding it to them. They also enjoy popcorn and various sweets, although baked goods can give them intestinal issues. They are scavengers and foragers, and will eat meat and protein, but they aren't naturally hunters. They typically only hunt live prey in desperation, and this is often only observed in ferals. Genetics: Glass suncatcher clowns are more likely to hatch with missing, malformed, or non working limbs than other breeds. They can also be more prone to sight and hearing issues. The stained gene is recessive and causes translucent color. It often comes with a fragility gene, fragility often disappears a few weeks after hatching, but can persist into adult life. They have dominant trait for bright colors and plumage, recessive for pastels. The rarest type is clear and colorless, but breeding these requires a mutation that can sometimes occur when double stained gene is present. This means they often have health issues in life. They also have a recessive trait for facelessness. They habe all the functions of a faced clown, their face is just not visable. Though a mouth that isn't visible when closed has been observed opening when its time to eat. Suncatcher glass clowns are often mistreated in the breeding industry and pet trade, and can have a host of health issues. Glass suncatcher clowns have been bred to produce very large clutches. They're also valuable in the pet trade, especially if they are a carrier for stained gene or have nice colors, generally pastels are harder to produce and considered more valuable than vibrant colored clowns. Unethical Breeders often dispose of "undesirable" chucklets who can still live a long healthy life, such as those with health issues or sometimes even poor coloration. Overbreeding is also an issue, as parents that produce good offspring are bred an unhealthy amount of times. Another thing is that, like most teacup breeds, Suncatcher glass clowns don't produce much milk. This is not an issue when most teacup clowns typically only have 1-2 eggs per clutch. But with large clutches, glass suncatcher clowns can't feed their chucklets by themselves. Another thing is that Suncatcher Glass clowns are often reluctant breeders, and their eggs often taken away after being laid. This can cause distress, as the clown misses its eggs. . Taxonomy: Suncatcher Glass clowns aren't a common breed, and can be expensive from a breeder. They used to be larger, more earth toned, and with much more powerful rainbow sunbeams. They were domesticated in victorian times, as having a beautiful little glass clown to cast rainbows and do amusing tricks for guests became quite fashionable among upper class society. The rainbows casted by modern clowns are mostly just for show, but pre domesticated clowns used theirs to temporarily blind predators as a distraction to get away, similar to squid ink.

😓 DOWNCAST FACE WITH SWEAT — is your oc open-minded or stubborn? are they inquisitive or do they prefer to keep to their bubble of knowledge?
BLUE OMG THANK YOU !! YOU SENT SO MANY ILYSM 💕💕 This is gonna be a mixed bag of oc responses, tried to limit it to one oc per question!
🚗 CAR — does your oc have a driver's license? can they drive/operate any automobiles/machinery besides cars?
Surprisingly, the only oc of mine to not know how to drive is Hunter. With how he grew up, it just wasn't necessary for him to learn! The rest of them aren't licensed in any other machinery. Though in my heart Emil is forklift certified
✈️ AIRPLANE — does your oc like traveling, or do they consider themselves a more homey person?
June is a homebody to the fullest extent of the word. Living in a town full of tourist traps, she gets turned off from advertisements telling her to go to similar locations.
🎮 VIDEO GAME CONTROLLER — what are three of your oc's favorite hobbies?
Carolyn's favorite hobbies include: Fishing, gardening, and writing poetry! She's a lot more shy about her writing compared to her other hobbies though!
🖊️ BALLPOINT PEN — does your oc have any tattoos? do they want any (more) tattoos?
Emil has had a couple of tattoos done! One is a small stick n poke from his teens, a very cliche broken heart on his left wrist. The other one was actually done in a tattoo parlor; a green 1-up mushroom from the Mario franchise on the right side of his chest
📚 BOOKS — what level of education has your oc most recently completed/is currently in (GED, undergraduate, grad school, phd, etc)?
Whereas Maggie and Hunter couldn't finish college, Carolyn and June are the ones with degrees.
Carolyn has a bachelor's degree in fine arts and June has a DNP, which is a doctorate that would allow her to practice nursing!
🎻 VIOLIN — does your oc play any instruments? what is their skill level (beginner/intermediate/advanced/virtuoso/etc)?
When Maggie was younger, she used to play the acoustic guitar as a hobby. Very intermediate player. Though as she grew up, she eventually stopped practicing and abandoned the instrument altogether. If she went up to the attic to retrieve it, she could probably only play a scale and that's it.
🎶 MUSICAL NOTES — what type of music does your oc like? do they listen to music very often?
I actually have a post going deep into this for the majority of my ocs!! [Link here]
But since she's not in that post, June's favorite bands include Fleetwood Mac and Florence and the Machine!! I can totally see her loving a more alternative pop-rocky sound.
💯 HUNDRED POINTS SYMBOL — share three random facts about your oc that others may not know.
Carolyn is scared of heights, loves sci-fi movies, and she's a vegetarian!
🔱 TRIDENT EMBLEM — can your oc swim? do they enjoy swimming?
No brainer, but Hunter adores swimming. He played in competitively throughout highschool and college!
🔺 RED TRIANGLE POINTED UP — does your oc know how to use any weapons?
Oh just about all of them know how to use a weapon (with the exception of Carolyn. She's more of a pepper spray and run kind of girl). Though if we want any specifics on their preferred weapon: Maggie has a baseball bat, Emil uses his grandfather's pocket knife, Hunter uses a pair of scissors, and June keeps a shotgun and an axe in her home.
🚫 PROHIBITED — does your oc drink/smoke? do they do it regularly, or is it more on occasion or for special events?
Maggie has been a chainsmoker since she was 13/14. A bad habit her mother instilled in her. Although she's loosened up over the years, she tends to have a cigarette when she's feeling nervous.
😖 CONFOUNDED FACE — is your oc an introvert, an extrovert, or an ambivert? do they let people in easily, or are they more reserved?
Carolyn, Emil, June: Introverts
Maggie: Ambivert
Hunter: Extrovert
🤔 THINKING FACE — what are some of your oc's quirks/mannerisms?
Emil has his hands in his pockets at all times. Loves to fiddle and play with the loose change in his pockets, sometimes when he's bored he likes to fidget with his pocket knife.
😥 SAD BUT RELIEVED FACE — is your oc prone to getting stressed out, or is it easy for them to keep their cool?
Oh June and Maggie can be the worst when dealing with stress. Magnolia tends to just break down and cry, where June is explosive and snappy at times.
😓 DOWNCAST FACE WITH SWEAT — is your oc open-minded or stubborn? are they inquisitive or do they prefer to keep to their bubble of knowledge?
Oh a trait all of my ocs tend to share is how stubborn they can all be! Though I gotta say, Emil is the worst case.

Buying the Best Shotgun for Your Deer Hunting Guns Collection
One of the most often used deer hunting guns is the shotgun. And since deer hunting remains one of the most popular outdoor sports, with fathers teaching their sons and daughters the safety of hunting, more and more manufacturers have developed shotguns that have more features.
Maybe you're an avid bow hunter or you've mainly hunted with rifles, and you're buying your first shotgun to add to your collection of deer hunting guns, the first thing to think about is getting the right shotgun, one that will be a perfect to you.
To do this, head to your local gun shop or hunting outfitter and test a few different makes and models of shotguns. To test the weapon, pull it to your shoulder and tuck it into your shoulder. Never point the muzzle towards anyone though. Only point it in a safe direction, and check to make sure the gun moves into place easily.
Feel the weight of the gun to make sure it's not too heavy or bulky for your size. If you're not able to hold it steady for any amount of time, or it feels too heavy to be able to carry it for any length of time or distance, then move on and check out a different model.
This one is not going to work for you since hunters often level their deer hunting hodgdon trail boss at their prey for periods of time, and that's after they've trudged through the woods to get to their hunting spots.
You don't want to buy a shotgun that's going to leave you too tired from hauling it to even be able to use it once you reach your location.
When you're shopping for the ideal shotgun, remember, it doesn't matter how sleek and good the gun looks, it's got to do the job and it absolutely must fit you. And buying a bigger gun isn't the best solution either.
A 12-gauge is actually perfect for deer hunting because of its intermediate power and on some models you can also retrofit it with a rifle barrel.
The 410 gauge is a good choice for the young, beginner hunter. 10-gauge shotguns are good for turkey hunting and 20-gauge are usually used for small game.
So for deer hunting, look first for a good 12-gauge shotgun and models that use slug shots.
What are slug shots? They're not bullets like you would use in handguns or rifles. These are called slugs and when they're fired, they spiral out of the gun and then mushroom on impact like a bullet, but they make a much larger hole.
Before you head out to the woods or go on a guided deer hunt, get familiar with your shotgun at a gun club where you can do some practice shooting. Use different size loads and shot sizes in the weapon and do some target practice to get familiar with how it handles.
Realize that it might take some time to find just the right shotgun for you, so get an early start. Don't wait until deer season is right around the corner because buying any deer hunting guns, not just a shotgun, isn't something to be rushed. They can be pretty expensive and they can also be dangerous if you find you can't handle the weapon correctly once you're out in the field.

Maplestory classes pros and cons

Maplestory classes pros and cons free#
In addition, it is advisable not to use potions on Maple Island, as there is no penalty for dying. Pio and the Recycling (relaxer chair) Please Deliver a Letter to Lucas (hat) Rain’s Maple Quiz (easy EXP) The Elder's Introduction (Mai gives you best Maple Island weapon) To do some quests, try traveling to Amherst, where simple quests can be fulfilled to get items. Fortunately, beginners don’t lose EXP when they die. The strongest monster is Orange Mushroom, which can be hazardous.
Maplestory classes pros and cons free#
After leaving the starting area, players are given free roam on the island. There are a number of quests to do that serve to orient first time players to the game. Like every class, beginning Archers start out on Maple Island. Strength isn't as useful as DEX, so it is suggested to keep it as low as possible as well. Luck and Intelligence are worthless to archers, so to be one it is ideal to keep them as low as possible. Biased view towards archers from other classes, other classes will be chosen over bowmen any time at anywhere at lower levels.Īn archer's primary and secondary statistics are Dexterity (DEX) and Strength (STR), respectively.Elemental advantage is screwed at higher levels, not much fire weak mobs to train on.Very unstable damage until mastery in 2nd job.Low damage output largely due to weak damage formula.Low health, getting 2-hit-killed by monsters at high levels.Very effective at 4th job while bossing with Night Lords because of a special skill. Can hit as high as warrior with double shot very early on.Gets soul arrow in 2nd job, allowing space saving for more pots.Flashy Skills mainly in the Ranger/Sniper stage. If you decide to level an archer, you will be rewarded with fancy skills, many bossing opportunities, and very stable damage at Fourth Job. The general perception of archers is somewhat biased however, so do not expect to be picked first in a training party. At their second job, archers have two options, Hunter or Crossbowman, and will proceed on to Ranger and Sniper respectively. Bows are faster than crossbows, but they also do less damage. The path of the Archer is probably one of the more difficult in MapleStory.

My ma and I were taking my dog for a walk and she spotted our first ever morels! They are teeny tiny, but we found them in the small wooded area of our local park. Jokingly thought it could be a possibility but didn’t expect to actually find some!!

Mushroom Rules and Taboos
Mushroom season is in full swing! There are a few topics one should always avoid when talking with mushroom hunters. I’m a moderator on a mushroom identification group of about 30,000 people, and if you start talking about one of these topics, your post or comment will be deleted! Here are a few rules one should follow when talking with fellow mushroom hunters (and yes, I know these sound like a cross between Karen complaints and fae rules).
1. Never ask for someone’s mushrooms spot. Asking for someone’s mushroom spot is tantamount to declaring you’re going to steal all of their mushrooms and leave them with nothing but severed stipes! This is very rude and hurtful. If you really need a hint as to where to find certain species, instead ask something like, “at what elevation in what mountain range did you find these?” That will allow the forager to give you a general answer, and won’t force them to give up their secrets. A kind forager will respond to, “Where is your mushroom spot?” with something like, “400m, Cascade foothills.” A less forgiving forager might stuff a wad of moss down your throat.
2. Do not argue about or even mention “cut versus pluck.” Whether you cut a mushroom from the ground with a knife or pluck it with your fingers has no significant effect whatsoever on the health of the mushroom population or how many mushrooms will come up the next year. There is a common misconception that cutting mushrooms with a knife is less damaging, but this is untrue. Cutting and plucking both don’t cause any harm! You’re just removing a fruiting body, and the real body of the mushroom is formed by mycelia underground. People feel really strongly about cut versus pluck, even if they know the different methods have no real effect on the fungi. Some people prefer to cut so others know they were there, or to keep their baskets clean, while others prefer to pluck to leave less visible debris in the forest, or to take more edible fungus. Either way: it should never be brought up. It’s a bannable offense in some groups - think, “We! Do not! Talk! About! The! Orangutan!”
3. Do not scold people for picking mushrooms they do not know the species of. This is called “pick shaming” in mushroom hunter communities. Sometimes, well-meaning folks will scold people for picking mushrooms they don’t know because they think it’s “wasteful” to pick a mushroom if they do not intend to eat it. This comes from a good place, since they’re obviously environmentally-conscious, but it also shows that they don’t know much about fungi. They are not plants! Revisit point 2: picking or cutting mushrooms has no effect whatsoever on the health of the fungus. More importantly, a lot of mushrooms need spore prints and a view of the entire specimen, from the base to the top of the pileus, to properly identify. In fact, to identify many toxic Amanita species, you must look at the volva at the base of the stipe, which requires pulling out the entire specimen. New foragers should indeed pick mushrooms to identify them - this is how they should learn.
4. This is more of a pet peeve, but: do not ask “is this edible?”  or  “is this magic?” before you know what mushroom species you’re working with. Few things irritate me and other mushroom experts as much as seeing a picture of a toxic mushroom with the question, “Edible?” but no request for id. There are three reasons for this: First, I don’t want to be responsible for whether you eat a mushroom and get sick from it. I can tell you what I think it is, and there’s a 99.99% chance I’m correct, but if I’m either wrong or you have a particular sensitivity to that species (and many people do to common species like Laetiporus conifericola), I don’t want to get the blame for “telling you it was fine to eat.” Many mushroom hunters make a point of giving only the identification and letting the requester research edibility on their own for this reason. Second, me telling you if something is edible is not helping you learn to identify or hunt mushrooms, it’s just giving you a cheap way to repeatedly stick Agaricus foundinmyyardicus  on the forum and have someone else id it for you. Third, and more importantly, why are you putting things in your mouth if you don’t know what they are?  WHY?! What is wrong with you?! Mushroom maggots are also edible, but you would not eat them!
5. Do not make unverified claims of mushroom medicinal use or, worse, offer medical advice unless you’re a trained and licensed professional. You can say, “There are some studies I found in this peer reviewed journal that indicate Trametes versicolor might be promising for such-and-such use,” but do not say stuff like, “Turkey tails cure cancer!” or, “Susan, I hear you had the flu. You should drink Ganoderma oregonense tea to boost your immune system!” Don’t risk poisoning someone, messing with their medication, or spreading pseudoscience by suggesting they use a mushroom for medicinal purposes unless you’re a trained medical professional. A forager who has casually read some journal articles is not a trained medical professional!
6. Don’t mock folks for asking for confirmation of an “easy to identify” mushroom species. You’d be surprised by how many people misidentify species that are as “easy” to identify as Cantharellus formosus. I would much rather forty people post chanterelles and one accidentally post Hygrophoropsis aurantiaca while asking for confirmation than forty one people blindly eat their mushroom haul, thinking they’re chanterelles, only for one to get sick on Hygrophoropsis aurantiaca. Be responsible, and remember you were a beginner once, too.
7. In identification groups, don’t give a definite identification unless you’re 100% sure of the mushroom someone is asking for an id of. If you’re unsure, say something like, “Looks like Laccaria bicolor,” or, “Compare to Amanita augusta.” Don’t say, “That’s Xerocomellus zelleri” with certainty unless you’re willing to bet on your mother’s life it’s Xerocomellus zelleri. This usually isn’t a big deal, but there was a bit of a kerfuffle on one of the mushroom forums a few years back when someone said, “That’s a matsutake!” about a deadly Amanita smithiana, and then proceeded to argue with David Arora, a legend among mycologists and the author of identification books like Mushrooms Demystified and All that the Rain Promises and More, upon being corrected.
8. When identifying mushrooms, always use scientific names. Common names are colorful and easy to remember, but different species might have the same common name, or other people might be unfamiliar with the common name you’re using. Some species don’t even have common names! It’s totally okay to give both a scientific name and a common name, though, if the common name exists.

Heyy! Glad I got the place right lol. I'd suggest for Cheval again but I feel like I should change it around a bit, so maybe Reverto? maybe they're not dating or anything (yet) and y/n has a crush on him? do with that what you will :D
I'll do my best! (And don't be shy to suggest for Cheval, I love writing him :D)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Blasted Mushrooms
You hesitantly tag along with Reverto to the Rotten Vale in hopes of finding some “exotic” mushrooms. You find something else instead.
Tumblr media
The Rotten Vale was one of the only places on the planet that disturbed you greatly. I mean, as a rider, a huge monster burial ground makes you kind of uneasy. However, when Reverto asked you to accompany him on a "mushroom hunting" quest, you couldn't say no.
Even though you thought gathering mushrooms in that dreaded place was ridiculous, with Reverto it would be bearable. There was something about that lazy hunter that drew you in. Was it his personality? Muscles? Calm and collected attitude? The fact that's he's helped you several times?
You didn't know. All you did know is that he drove you crazy (in a good way).
"Apparently Devil's Blight grows deep in the Vale. It's also rather rare." Reverto stated while glancing down at a map. You and him had just arrived to the Rotten Vale's base camp. You stood not far behind him, your loyal monstie by your side. An airship took you guys to the Vale. Reverto didn't want to overwork your monstie because he says he's probably a much bigger guy than most riders.
Yes, he flexed when he said that.
"Devil's Blight? Isn't that highly explosive?" You asked.
"Boy I hope so!" Reverto said with his fists pumped, like a little kid.
You giggled and asked, "Are you gonna use them to make some extra-powerful bombs for hunting?"
"Nope!" He said with a smile.
"Then what?" You asked with a curious tilt of your head. As far as you know, they didn't have much of an other use.
"Cooking!" He stated with a happy grin. You blinked at him with a blank stare. You definitely weren't a mushroom expert, but you were certain that heating up Devil's Blight would cause a massive explosion.
"Isn't that...dangerous?" You asked the hunter who was happily preparing his gear. He shook his head with a smile.
"For beginners? Sure. However, if you work with these guys properly, you can make quite a kick-startin' meal!" The mushroom expert said with a wide grin. You decided to trust him (figuring the fanatic knew more than you), and grabbed your own gear.
"Now, keep your guard up around here. Many monsters are highly aggressive, and will attack anything that moves." Reverto explained while beginning to descend to a lower part of the Vale.
"Can't let anything bad happen to you." The hunter stated with a wink before his head disappeared behind the rock. You blushed and your monstie nudged you back to reality. Following your partner, you descended into the Vale.
---------------------------------------------------
"The smell of bones and rot could be better." You said with a laugh while covering your nose. Reverto laughed, while using a cloth to cover his own face.
"Yeah, the effluvium down here will slowly kill you." He said with a chuckle.
The air was thick and many monsters were too busy chewing on carrion to pay any attention to you. Suddenly, Reverto grabbed your hand and pulled you to a small alcove. You guys were pressed so close together. You were certain he could feel the heat coursing through your whole body. Reverto gave you a 'quiet' motion, and subdtly pointed towards the rocky corridor. A large red wyvern was stalking up through the thick gas. It had a large chunk of meat in its mouth, strange sounds and smoke emitted from its mouth from time to time.
"An odogaron. Nasty beasts. Horribly tempered." Reverto explained quietly. You nodded, and glanced back at the monster. It was still slowly ascending to the top of the Vale.
"Let's not mess with this guy. Over here." The hunter slowly tugged your arm. You grabbed onto him in order to not get lost. He jumped off a large cliff into a large opening filled with strange plantlife. You followed, however, you landed off-balance. Reverto caught you at the last minute. You looked into his eyes, blushed, and quickly regained your footing while whispering a quiet "thanks."
"Anytime." The hunter said while sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck. He glanced left and right.
"We seem to be even deeper. That means closer to the mushrooms." He stated with a smile. You nodded shyly, amd began to follow him.
However, a bizarre sound caught you off guard.
"What's that...?" You couldn't finish your sentence as Reverto knocked you to the ground. A large swishing sound whipped close above your head, causing some wind to blow your h/c hair. The position you two were in would've caused you to blush red, but you were more concerned at the current situation. Reverto quickly got back to his feet while lifting you up by one arm.
"Look at what we've got Y/N." Reverto said with a slight smirk while grabbing his great sword. Your eyes followed his to see a glavenus standing not to far from you. However, it was not your average glavenus. This one had a much more advanced tail, and much darker in color.
"Y/N, meet the acidic glavenus. The deadlier cousin to that fire-breathing monster. Watch the tail!" The hunter shouted while diving down. You joined him, and then quickly whistled for your monstie. M/N appeared quickly, roaring mad and ready to fight. You grabbed your own weapon and joined the fight.
The acidic glavenus sharpened its tail (which was extra spikey) and slammed it between you two. The fight was a lot more drastic than you both originally thought. The guild didn't have a lot of information on this subspecies, so it was rather unpredictable.
"We need to retreat!" Reverto shouted while sheathing his weapon and running towards the Vale's entrance. You on your m/s, followed close behind.
Soon, you both reached base. Exhausted, you dismounted M/S.
"That monster was crazy..." You told Reverto as you gave M/N a potion. The hunter nodded while plopping by the campfire.
"All we wanted were some blasted mushrooms..." You said with a small shake of your head.
"Well..." Reverto said with a nervous and sly grin. Then he pulled some dark red mushrooms from his pack: "I wouldn't say that."
Your jaw dropped when you saw the rare explosive mushrooms.
"How?! When?!" You asked in shock. He laughed while setting the pack over his back.
"I have my ways." The hunters said with a sly grin. You shook your head in disbelief and said, "You never cease to amaze me, Reverto."
"I hope not. Need you to stick around." He stated with a wink. You blushed at his comment, but still smiled. This quest was indeed a success.
And we got home, Reverto made you some killer mushroom stew. You were still very hesitant to eat it.

Brothers anon back with ANGST at the very last question on part 2. Im honestly not positive myself how im gonna fix it. I have ideas but still. Hopefully this isn't to long.
Rans life at Mizu: For Mizu I've changed it a bit, history is still messed up to a point. But other people like Technoblade, Philza, Sam, Foolish, etc are now included with their own rooms. Ran idolized/choose Technoblade to follow. Followers of Technoblade are the only people in the City (expect for guards or police type people, though they also tend to be followers of Techno) that are allowed to freely carry weapons (after the proper training of course). Ran choose Technoblade because he wanted to protect those he loved and he was always interested in the art of fighting. He had two mentors, a women named Alma, she mostly did hand to hand combat and defense training with Ran, while a man named Fermin was a historical teacher, and taught him the history of wars and weapons more indepth than regular classes did. He had quite a few friends, though only a few close friends he often went to play games with or have sleepovers with (if you want angst, Ran was actually the one who discovered two of his friends bodies and had to report them, forcing him to go back a few times to see their bodies). Im pretty sure I mentioned it before but the brothers had a family of 6! Their mom was Ranya and was a 20% enderman hybrid, their dad was Seth and was a normal human, of course you know the brothers, their younger brother (14 years old upon death/a year younger than Ran) was named Lias and was human, and their younger sister was Memi (10 years old upon death) and was human. Ran was close to his parents, often having Ranya read him to bed and riding Seth's shoulders when he was young. He also baby sat Lias and Memi when everyone else was out, also helping them with homework and letting them sleep in his bed when nightmares happened. He loved his family and its when the murders and sabotages started happening did he choose Technoblade as his idol, to protect his family and seem intimating to whoever was doing the sabotages.
1: When the carriage finally stopped Cletus jumped out and faceplanted onto the ground, screaming about how he was finally free and away from all the awkward tension. Grievous, Jackie, and Isaac where all close behind, all having a similar reaction. While Watson, Charles, and Benjamin had a calmer reaction simply walking out and stretching. Ran was the last to get out, and he had to be dragged out by Watson, but he fought being dragged out. He grabbed the edges of the carriage and screamed while being forced out. Ranbob was calmer, and while jumping out he accidentally landed on Grievous, forcing his head back into the dirt, who then let out a muffled shout of alarm before immediately getting up and confronting a nervous and apologetic Ranbob.
3: He isn't the fastest at evaluating a situation, and needs ample time to make decisions. He also isnt the best at understanding emotions at times and sometimes needs a little push in a direction to understand. Also at points he gets into situations he doesnt know how to handle at all, at those times he almost shuts down with overwhelment, and the leadership tends to go to Benjamin for a while during it.
5: Their healing potions, so they work over time, slowly working with the body to heal and regenerate, so they take longer to fully work. Poitions work generally the same (ingredient wise), but theres more steps. For a potion of harming, first you crush up and gently mix in a spiders eye into a Awkward potion, then put it on the brewing stand for 10 minutes, then after the Poison potion is made, you get another spider eye and roll it in sugar cane until the general texture changes into a more wrinkly and powder like texture, then crush that up and mix it into the Poison potion, put it in the brewing stand for at least 30 minutes, then it makes a harming potion. The process its generally the same for all the rest of the potions, though it depends on ingredients and how long they must stand on the brewing stand.
7: I'll try doing that, thank you! Cause Grievous is a lil shit at times and encourages  violence as long as its not against him. I know you probably expect a deep answer but thats purely the only reason Grievous encourages it. It depends on what was said to Jackie, if its something that deeply and emotionally hurts Jackie, than he'd likely discourage him, instead comforting him and convincing him if he attacked the person he'll just feel worse. But if its something he knows Jackie can handle, he'll encourage Jackie to beat em up.
8: Watson went almost everywhere, the only places he didn't go was The End, Mushroom Islands, Badlands, Ice Spikes, and Gravel Mountains (he saw them he just didn't wanna go in them), and thats because he never came across them or traveled there. He has a long bamboo that he uses to wack people over the head with when their being idiots, he has a framed nether star fragment that he found in a ruined and abandoned village (he doesnt know what it is he just knows its shiny and cool), he has some fur-lined outfits from the time spent in Tundras, and he has a book where he records locations of interesting formations he found and just a general record of stuff (how much food he has, the season, days until winter, when he should go on a supply run, etc). When Watson still lived as a kid in a village, he often went to watch the blacksmith (also the farmers, clerics, and others) and when he was old enough the blacksmith showed him how to make a multitude of weapons with different materials. And now he pushes the limits of what he's learned from that and over the years to make brand new weapons. And since I'm not sure if you where also asking about Ran, Ran only went to Plains, Covered Forest, Tundra, Savanna, and Tagia biomes. He has a dagger (specifically a Zorlin Shape dagger) that he took off of a hunter when he killed them, has parts of iron armour (shoulder and chest pieces, with the pieces that go on his shins), again some fur-lined clothes from his time in the Tundra, a selfbow, and also has a book similar to Watson's, but his has notes of potion affects, crafting recipes, mobs to avoid, etc. Visiting the nether is not common at all! Infact no vists it expect travelers or people who get hired to go in for potion ingredients and building supplies. Jackie does eventually give up painting, and instead picks up the hobby of annoying people and just training. It actually goes pretty well, there are rules put in place during it to protect them, but other than that its generally the same as the one played in our world. Jackie wants to vist those biomes because he thinks there cool, and thinks their good starting biomes to vist for a beginner adventure. Yep, Ran says its way to dangerous to go to the nether, especially with almost no one knowing how the nether works. Though actually Watson wants to bring the others into the nether, saying its a good learning experience and no one will learn how to survive if they dont go. Ran still agures its too dangerous though, citing the Piglins and Ghasts as evidence, but eventually, after much begging and negotiations, Ran agrees to let them go. They just need to listen to Ran and Watson teach them about the nether and follow everything they say to a T while in the nether.
9: Jackie screamed while being thrown, but after that and a bit of stunned silence, he jumped up and demanded for Ran to throw him again. So he enjoys being thrown, and sometimes he specifically requests to be thrown, so he can curl into a ball and slam into people like a goddamn canon ball. Porkius was also shocked into stunned silence, but after he saw Jackie get back up and demand to be thrown again, he just started bellowing in laughter, you could hear his laughter even echoing a bit outside of the Pit.
10: Then you may be happy to know, but I believe at the end I'll make it so after the brothers have fixed their relationship, their still being haunted by Dream, and eventually the decision gets made to go back to Mizu and face him. Where Dream has actually escaped (Due to a big group coming in, and him being able to convince them to take the Mask with them) so now they have to hunt him down. And when they finally find him you can bet someone (or multiple people) are going to punch him.
12: He does tell the fishermen about these thoughts once, but the fishermen sadly fail at comforting him and changing those thoughts, so he decides to keep it inside and suffer in quite. Though 2 people do see his suffering, Ran and Grievous. Grievous is debating if he should step in and ask what's wrong and if he can help, while Ran just watches (though he does feel some hurt watching his brother suffer, though he denies it).
13: They all had a blast there, Charles showed Jackie how to make flower crowns, then they went and made one for everyone else, Ran just laid in the grass and tried to relax, Ranbob eventually joined in with the flower crowns, Watson was telling Grievous all the meaning of flower colors and what certain flowers stand for, while Isaac and Cletus chased eachother around and eventually got Jackie, Grievous, and Watson involved in a game of chase. They did leave after a General battle, as that was one of the things they had to do for Porkius to approve of them leaving. Porkius still wants them back in less than 5 years, though they can take like a year or 2 longer max. Jackie is technically a general, though the general title he has is specifically only for the Pit matches and instead is more of a like final boss title.
14: Again its very much like a abusive relationship. Ranbob believes Dream has changed because of distant whispers from Dream (only happened while they still lived at the fishermen house which is kinda-close to Mizu) promising he has changed and he truly wants to help Ranbob, and saying how he can help Ranbob be of more use to the fishermen and since Dream did actually help Ranbob at first, he wants to believe him. But once they get futher away from Mizu, the whispers disappear, only rarely appearing in his dreams. Cletus doesn't really help, not because he doesnt care but more because he doesn't know how to help, he knows its a very delicate situation and saying or doing the wrong thing could hurt more than help, so he decided to play it safe. Charles tries to help, though he provides more physical help, like hugs to ground him or showing him how to breath again, while Benjamin and Isaac tackle the more internal issues and do so comfortingly and gently. Making it so Ranbob only notices their actually helping when he starts to do things on his own and no longer has such strong and often urges to return to Dream.
15: One night when Ranbob is off getting firewood and Ran is off checking surroundings to make sure its safe, the Hunters actually get into the camp and holds everyone at sword and bow point. Ran sees them when coming back and actually, though hesitantly, decides to wait for Ranbob to come back. And once Ranbob is back the two make a plan to rescue them, which goes mostly well. Ran gets shot in the stomach and Ranbob gets a sword through his arm, but other than that they do manage to rescue them. Watson jokingly says how they've finally made progress and that they can now work toghere without fighting now, Ran growls at this and storms away, denying it, but Ranbob just nervously shuffles and sits down, letting Charles tend to his wounds, as Jackie chases off after Ran to tend to his wounds. I really want them to stumble across the Wild West ruins and maybe The Masquerade ruins but im not sure how I'll get them to either.
1: Haha, ouch. Poor Ran. Nice backstory though. I can only imagine how he must have felt, coming across those. Does him choosing Techno have anything to do with him choosing to enter the Pit? Also how did Ranbob feel about killing his family? We’ve talked about the guilt about hurting Ran and stuff, but about the ones who weren’t as lucky to escape?
2: That sounds like...a scene. Funny, but probably not until a few days after it happened for the people who actually had to go through it.
3: Is Isaac the type to get overwhelmed easily? But very nice to see Benjamin helping out!
5: So basically just tossing some real life logic in there? Hmm, interesting.
7: Hope it helps! Nope, no deep answer. That’s about what I expected actually. Grievous has that energy, y’know? Also, very sweet of Ran to comfort Jackie. Does he ever get revenge on Jackie’s behalf? He doesn’t strike me as the type to let that go, especially if it actually hurt somebody he cared for. Him otherwise encouraging it..yeah, sounds about right. Gremlin children.
8: Sounds like he’s really been a lot of places! He must know a lot, huh? Also, he just...wack? Cause that’s kind of funny. He watched others beside the Blacksmith? Did he learn anything from them? Ran personally sounds very intimidating. Though if he has potion notes, does he often make them? Is there a particular reason Nether travel is no longer common? Also, would the gang ever happen to stumble across ruins from the time of the Smp? Cause that’d be kind of cool. Jackie’s new hobby sounds very nice, I hope he has fun doing it. How long does it take before Ran deems everyone ready for the Nether? And do the Fishermen also go through, or do they prefer to stick to safer grounds?
9: I bet the first time the fishermen saw that show they were surprised. And honestly, Porkius, I’d laugh too.
10: I am happy to know that! Well, not the escape bit, but the punching, for sure! You go, guys, punch that neon green slimeball!
12: Oh no. Does Grievous ever step in?
13: Sounds like they had a good time, I’m happy for them. And a final boss title? Is Jackie like a final boss? What differs between them fighting as the general, and as a typical gladiator?
14: Hm, that’s not good. What is good is that he’s getting away from Dream’s influence. Did that have anything to do with the group deciding to head to Subbin?
15: Well, progress is progress! Surely it’s a step in the right direction, right?
Also, not really a Brothers AU question, but as you may have noticed, I pinned a post of all the AUs on here, and I was wondering if you’d like me to put yours on there too. Obviously, I’d put it as yours. I wanted to earlier, but I figured it would be better to ask, so tell me your feelings on that.

Infinite List of Beginner-Friendly Anime Recs: Cowboy Bebop
Tumblr media
“That's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge."
tl;dr I questioned someone’s recommendation for someone else’s first anime on the basis that people who are unused to anime might like something that’s less than 20 hours long and tells one complete story within the first hour or so, and 20,000 words later I decided to make my own post(s) because I clearly had Feelings
26 x 30 minute episodes + 1 x 115 minute movie | watch it: netflix | hulu | amazon prime | funimation | adult swim
devil-may-care space cowboys track down their next payday in a plausible, lived-in futuristic solar system
Follow the Read More for more convincing and trigger warnings (to my best recollection)
Features:
a true speculative fiction narrative set after terraforming Mars with cool spaceships and interesting technology
pure anthology storytelling in the first half (and most of the back half tbh)
neat character, background, and spaceship designs
one hell of a soundtrack (Bebop’s a bop, whodathunkit?)
a really high end production with hand drawn artwork to really capture the grit of the aesthetic
“The three things I hate most in this world are kids, animals, and women with attitudes, so why are all three of them on my ship?”(paraphrasing from memory)
This is one of those oddball anime that actually did as good or better in the US as they did domestically pre-streaming, in part thanks to the fantastic dub and the fact that it fit in surprisingly well with the live action sci fi market that was on TV around the same time -- stuff like Farscape, Babylon 5, Stargate SG-1 were all on TV at the time, although the closest parallel is Firefly, which came juuuust a bit later. (I used to say that Cowboy Bebop was anime Firefly, but I guess I got it backwards lmao)
Watch Out For:
General trigger warning for body horror, drug use, violence, crime, some kind of tricky gender shit that defies my knowledge of relevant trigger labels, information privacy fuckery, bigoted characters, and anything else you might expect from an “”edgy“” story about bounty hunters IN SPACE. CB handles most of their subject matter better than most shows tackling the same stuff, but it’s still there and it’s still shitty.
It’s been a while so I’m probably gonna miss a lot.
The first episode deals with an addictive, performance enhancing drug that is taken via injection TO THE EYE and I... don’t remember being squicked by it? Which is weird because eyes in particular are a kind of body horror I can’t vibe with? But yeah. The show is Not Easy.
Ed can be... a lot. Ed is a absolutely the kind of person that would buy a “RAWR means I Love You in Dinosaur” T-Shirt... for their dog. Their focus episodes include an actual magic mushroom trip. And their official role is “child hacker”, so the gender question is handled differently from episode to episode which is. Annoying! It helps that Japanese is even less gendered than English, which is already pretty genderless as languages go, but it goes from okay to meh. Ed’s overall kind of like if you dropped Spongebob into a Serious Science Fiction Show (tm). Cowboy Bebop is a comedy, though, and Ed gets fewer focus episodes than the rest of the cast, so it ain’t that bad.
Faye though. Oh. Oh Faye.
Faye’s character design is overly sexualized inside and out. She’s the stereotypical femme fatal who uses sex as her weapon. Like even the briefest speaking roles, she’s much more well developed than that, but if you’re the kind of person who finds fanservice (random Pin-Up type shots sprinkled in the middle of the action) cringey or unnecessary, it can be hard to watch her. She isn’t actually treated any better or worse than the woman in the first episode, though, so you’ll figure that one out soon enough.
Faye is also a little bit of an incel? I mean, a girl like that can get laid if she wants to, but like. She’ll be the one spouting lines about Social Darwinism or not needing other people even as she lives on Spike and Jet’s ship and takes a cut from their bounties as well as her own.
(minor spoiler) Some of this m i g h t be because Faye is secretly From the Past (cryogenic freezing or something similar) but if so, it went over my head at age 14 and it probably goes over the heads of the kind of people who think Social Darwinism and the like are Right and Good
Still Faye but of particular note: Faye’s the one who gets Freaked Out by a character who is either trans or, more likely, intersex? Like full on “Which One Are You?” The show came out in ‘98, so dealing with the concept at all was technically pretty progressive, but folks may want to wait to watch episodes 12 and 13 (”Jupiter Jazz”) with a friend (13 more so than 12). Unfortunately, these are some of the few serialized episodes, so you can’t really skip them without detailed wiki-reading to understand what you’re missing, so this may be a deal breaker for some viewers. It was the first time I learned about the concept of gender not being a black-and-white binary experience and it was. Something. Not super positive, gotta say.
The number of people who saw Faye’s, uh, everything and decided that Man Faye was the obvious answer is Great, though. And apparently Netflix is “no, really this time” working on a live action adaptation which is super cool. I wonder if Keanu Reeves is still involved?

Charcherry Weekly - Issue 67
Hello everyone, Aeons Edgeworth here! It seems time continues on this week. Let's begin!
In Which A Detective Becomes A Researcher And Embarrasses Themself On National Television
On monday, Your current newsletter writer (not to be confused with your dear newsletter writer, still on vacation WHERE IS THAT CAPTCHA CODE DON'T GIVE ME THAT CAUSAL SPOILERS CRAP) hosted a pokemon seminar in New Charcherry, with additional words from Brae Emit, Page of Mind Samm, Page of Rage Jovin Castle, and Rogue of Heart Charles. This seminar was also broadcasted on DSPAN, which I only was told about after the seminar was completed. Because of this, the seminar reached a much further audience than anticipated. Also, it appears that a pair of faithful readers from planet Roostor showed up as well, which makes me wonder how many more from that world will wind up visiting.
At the end of the seminar, after everyone else spoke, I passed out pokeballs to the audience, but found out I didn't have nearly enough. For that reason, I summoned my future self to pick up the slack and I wound up delivering 100 more pokeballs to my past self at that point in time. Thankfully that proved to be enough, as like, 90-something of the crowd wanted a ball and I still had the 30, plus the 13 premier balls I got as a bonus for alchemizing in bulk afterwards. However, because it was televised, the viewers also requested to get their free pokeball, as there are no stores that sold them at that point in time.
Thankfully, Desrertian President Katyleen Kitten and her autoresponder, *DeusEx, managed to alchemize a holy heckton of pokeballs to be delivered across Starter Planet via the postal service. One could easily say it was an early redistro present! In addition to that though, Brae Emit wrote a cookbook, presumably centered around cooking healthy meals for pokemon.
Something that is concerning however, is how we'll be able to get enough berries to grow on starter planet with the high demand and absolutely microscopic supply. Like, what do you expect when a cookbook winds up breaking 7k copies in one run?
If there are any life players who read this publication (Maggie, I know you're one of them), I would strongly suggest that you lend your talents towards helping us plant and grow a ridiculous amount of berries, so as to prevent high demand from causing tensions among pokemon trainers trying to find high-quality berries for their pokemon.
That being said, it appears that the seminar was a success, though pokeball production will likely need to be outsourced, I'm less concerned about that, considering it isn't absolutely important to use pokeballs specifically to capture pokemon, and quite frankly, beginners shouldn't be trying to catch too many yet anyways.
Trouble on slowpoke island!
Immediately after the seminar, a slowpoke missing a tail was found in charcherry hangar, in an exhausted state. With the assistance of Brae's Clefable, Stella, the Slowpoke was rolled over. this made the transportalizer pad to slowpoke island accessible. I stayed behind to care for the slowpoke, while Brae, pokemon ranger KATIE (temporarily borrowing the remote soulbot while dreaming), and bounty hunter Samus assessed the situation on the island.
It turned out, voidco had erected a dungeon close enough to the island to sap the energy from the slowpoke, causing enough stress and strain to make their tails fall off. With the use of capture stylers alchemized and sendificated by Rogue of Heart Charles, and Brae's mushroom circle to handle transport, the three of them on the island managed to relocate the slowpoke to an entirely different island to recover.
Meanwhile, I had adopted the slowpoke that had been found in the hangar, offering to let them rest at my house for a while. The slowpoke accepted, letting itself be caught without struggle. After that, I was called upon to alchemize a set of transportalizer pads to go between the refuge island and the hangar, for easier access without the need of mushroom circles. Brae offered for me to use some of her grist so I torrented some off her to alchemize the pads with. I got those set up and we took off back home soon after.
A day or two later, legendary pokemon Mewtwo managed to have a conversation with the slowpoke that I had adopted, now named Dee-dee (named after the first dog I ever had, who happened to be a chubby rottweiler.).
According to Mewtwo, Dee-dee had gone off in search for help after the "crowned prince" of the slowpoke went missing, which occurred around the same time of the voidco dungeon appearing off the coast of slowpoke island. Apparently the dungeon resembles a giant Shellder in the form it assumes upon becoming apart of Slowbro, which is kinda ironic considering that the slowpoke can't even evolve into Slowbro while their tails are out of commission, and apparently the "crowned prince" is the only one with the king's rock that would potentially allow them to evolve into Slowking.
Considering that there may be mortal captives at stake, the dungeon crawl is slated to occur some time relatively soon, estimated to take place next week. I do wonder if it'll be before of after my birthday though. I'm not sure if I'm up for a dungeon crawl this time, but still.
High-Gear Sparring Match!
After the announcement of the upcoming dungeon crawl, many of the dungeon crashers have begun preparing for the big day. Married couple Samm and Jovin decided to have a sparring match together recently, and it was quite the spectacle, showing off the sheer power between them. Page of Mind Samm utilized her mind field to fabricate hazards with her mind, ranging from lightning to ground spikes and even a familiarly shaped fighting doll made of flesh. Meanwhile, Page of Rage Jovin managed to best such convincing visions with sheer strength and might, making sure to keep his machop out of the range of the chaos. The fighting figure was defeated, and Jovin managed to land a blow upon Samm that knocked her unconscious, dispelling everything she had active in the mind field. Thankfully, she recovered after a long rest, and their bond remained strong as ever. It will likely take far more than an accident during sparring practice to damage their relationship, especially considering they've been together for literally thousands of years.
With the likes of Samm and Jovin on our side, I feel confident that the dungeon can be crashed successfully.
Brae's Tower Trip
On thursday, Heir of Time Rise Emit's sister, Brae Emit, was seen taking the elevator down to the underworld, reportedly distributing cookies and curry to The Fallen.
The food Brae brought was enchanted, so as to be easily consumed by ghosts with minimal issues. Reportedly, she made a lot of friends among the late branches of her family, even accumulating a number of voluntarily offered favor IOU's from them in return. It is unknown what effect this will have on The Fallen in the long term, though it is quite clear that they are loved and cared for dearly by their sister.
Brae returned home late at night the same day, confirmed by Alpha Rise to be unharmed.
Charles and the Pokemon TCG Projector
The next day, Rogue of Heart Charles announced the testing of their pokemon trading card game projector device, allowing for pokemon tcg to be played with the same sort of technical visual flair as they do in the yu-gi-oh animes. However, the way it was set up apparently does not have the equipment available for two card game players, instead having only one, with the opponent using real pokemon against the projections. Charles used a fire monotype team, with a lot of Blaine's cards in places. Witch of Time Barcrawler showed up with her Golett Clayton, and Brae Emit showed up with her own pokemon, notably Pokey the Galarian Slowbro, Stella the Clefable, and Aqua the Azumaril.
Reportedly, there were some communication issues during the match, with Charles being inscrutable as ever, and the battle eventually ended in a forfeit after the room that the match took place in got a hole in the wall, which let water inside, due to being an underwater ocean base. Thankfully, the rooms were apparently designed to be modularly sealed, so the group only had to take their important items and escape to the next room over.
I feel like building an arena in an underwater base where beams will be fired was likely not the best idea. It is unknown when the tcg battle projector will be operational again, considering maintenance after possible standing water damage.
I think that about covers it. I never seen a slowpoke with such a determined and serious disposition like Dee-dee. If they feel like returning to their group after healing, I'll let them go, but if not, I'll be there for them.
But for now, I need sleep. Goodnight! https://letssosl.boards.net/thread/290/charcherry-weekly-issue-67
Edit: it has come to my attention that Brae Emit has not become Galar champion like previously assumed. Apologies for the accidental misinformation.

5 Best Ground Venison Recipes That Everyone Can Cook At Home
Venison is deer meat, as almost everyone knows, but it is also meat from elk, antelope, moose, reindeer and caribou. Currently, the white-tailed deer is the most hunted and ground venison recipes are very famous in United States.
The most common sight in the markets is the South Texas Antelope, which lives in the foothills of the Himalayas. The antelope was brought to Texas a few decades ago, and now live on the Ranch of King Ranch in South Texas, the country’s largest ranch. Large livestock are regularly slaughtered from livestock. They produce very lean meat that tastes a bit like veal.
Venison has very little fat, so you need to make some simple adjustments to the way you would usually cook beef, pork or a variety of other home-made meats.
When you’re broiling a cut of choice like tender venison or backstrap or filling the grill, cook the meat faster using more heat, then you’ll usually do with the meat. What you want to accomplish is to explore the outside of the deer, while keeping the inside rarely rare or medium. Basket the surface regularly while cooking, and let it rest for about 5 minutes after you take it out of the heat. Cut the cooked meat in front of the cereal.
Cooking venison’s fewer tender cuts should be done by moisture, either by stewing or braising. Make sure and give you more time for cooking than you normally would for beef or other meats.
If the venison you are preparing is frozen, melt it in red wine or buttermilk, one of the recipes you are using works even better. This helps to take some of the liquid meat “funny”, giving it a less harsh taste.
Most hunters will grind all their ground venison recipes, sausage, hamburger or chili meat except for backstrap and round steak. This is because other slices of meat are a little stiffer or harder to cook whole.
When cooking ground Venetian patties, brown them quickly in a frying pan over high heat, then reduce the heat. Add a little red wine or beef stock to the pan, and cook through a venison burger until rare, covered.
Do not leave the cooked deer in the air for a long time. If you don’t serve it right now, wrap it in foil before serving. Then cut it before serving.

Venison Hamburgers
For comparison, 1 serving (72%) of ground beef lean has 248 calories, 18 grams of fat and 77 grams of cholesterol. The same serving of venison has 157 calories, 7 grams of fat and 80 milligrams of cholesterol. I’ll take Venice!
That sounds pretty cool, though some skeptics would be quick to say that when you cook your hamburger you need to add deer fat to stay with the meat. Many Venison Cooks suggest adding 1 part ground beef or pork to 2 parts deer. You can do this, and it will still be more nutritious than meat. But we have found that it is not necessary. One teaspoon of olive oil to 1 pound of venison also works, adding only 20 calories to your burger. I’ve also used diced onions in the meat, which doesn’t add anything.
With deer hamburgers you can do a lot. Our basic dish recipe is a great standby. You just mix 1 pound of ground venison, 1 tbs of oil, 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce, and salt and pepper to taste. Form into patties, sprinkle with nonstick spray and cook.
5 Ground Venison Recipes
Burgers:
The Venison burgers are amazing, and they are very thin and healthy. Roasted, stuffed, with cheese or out. It’s all good. So if you don’t have a meat grinder, invest in one. We use the attachment with our standing mixer. I usually add a little olive oil and some Worcestershire sauce to the ground meat so that the patties don’t separate on the grill. You can also tie the meat with chopped onions or bread crumbs.

Salt Roast:
Salted Roast is one of most favorite Ground Venison Recipes. Get a 5lb bag of course salt and steam in the oven. Nice. Just mix a little water in the salt, put a roasting in a deep roasting pan, and cover it with the salt mixture. As the salt hardens, it traps the steam. This keeps the meat tender and tastes perfect. Cook on a very low temperate. We cook a typical 4lb roast at 200 for about 4 hours. Use a meat thermometer to make sure you don’t cook it. Grate salt and serve.
Kabobs:
Cut your meat into 2-inch cubes and cut into olive oil, lime juice and cilantro for about 1/2 hour. Place the meat on the skewers, add the onion or pepper if desired. Grill for 3 to 5 minutes on each side. They are so delicious!
Grilled Strips:
Cut the meat into strips and brush with olive oil and ground pepper. Grill for about 1 to 2 minutes per side. These grilled strips are terrific on salads.
Pizza:
Brown ground venison recipes with olive oil, basil and a small portion of garlic powder. Buy pre-made pizza crust and sauces, cheeses and toppings of your choice. The deer on the pizza is a nice change of pace in the Peroni or sausage. I like to use pesto as my sauce for speed change.
Eating venison does not mean eating the same boring dishes. Be creative and have fun in the kitchen.
Venison Sausage Making
These are simple steps that anyone can follow, with minimal preparation to start your own culinary adventure of making venison and hamburgers. Filling sausages in skins to make link sausage is not a recommended recommendation for a beginner. Once you have finished making Great Pitti Sausage, it’s time to move on to linking sausage, smoked sausage, etc.
Meat Grinder:
Some hand cranks use a meat grinder, but a small electric meat grinder is relatively inexpensive and easy to use. Remember to clean all parts thoroughly as you pass, and, to be safe, you can soak the meat-contacting parts in at least one hour before consuming 50% alcohol and 50% water.
Preparation of Meat:
After deer skin, remove the meat from the carcass and cool overnight. White connective tissue is easier to remove when the meat is cooled near freezing temperatures. Some can be removed with your fingers using latex gloves. Some need to start with a knife at one end and then peel it, and some need to be cut like a fish filling. The meat is then cut into portions and lengths that will fit around the neck of your grinders.
Grinding:
Use a coarse grind as you grind all the Venetians you use. I grind my meat in a large plastic meat tub, but any large kitchen bowl will do. For every four pounds of ground Venice, grind a pound of “bacon ends and peace” or fatty pork and mix both by hand. Alternatively, if you weigh the meat in the east you can grind coarsely with both venison and pork at the same time.
Mixing:
Separate the volume you are going to use in another container as a hamburger. If you are making chili meat you may want to grind the venison differently in the previous step and pack it as a coarse grind without the extra fat. If you plan to make two or more sausage recipes, you may also want to separate each of these. Mix the spices by hand for each recipe and then run through a grinder on a small grinder. (Most grinders come with at least three sized grinders.)
Recipes:
There are lots of rec online recipes to choose from, and you should experiment until you have rides by your family. Before packaging, I want to cook a small box of each mixture to test the mixture I am using. Then, if he needs something, he can mix it up again and add something.
Packaging:
Pack your different blends to the size or style of packaging you want to use, but let it “set” in the refrigerator for 24 hours before cooling so that the spices can completely penetrate the meat. I personally prefer to vacuum my meat in King King because it will prevent freezer burning longer than other types of packaging, but if your family is like me, it will last a long time before it happens.
