Sun admitted once that sometimes he wishes he was dead..

Not so long after he decided to be conduit for star's power upon hearing from Moon that this plan may end up with whoever chose to be conduit for star's power to be dead..

Sun wanted to be useful, he wanted to help and didn't want for Moon to die once again..

They went with a plan to kill Eclipse.. but didn't Sun learn that killing isn't the best option.. and they both found out that the star was basically killing Eclipse.. and after Eclipse got killed by laser Sun was against killing once again and was visibly tired with whole "killing is the only solution" thing..

And later he even tried to reach out to BM and help them..?

So what happened? Did Sun learned his lesson after he killed BM in self-defence or not? Is Sun a hypocrite and despite being against killing he was okay with getting rid of Eclipse?

I think that Sun learned his lesson and that he isn't hypocrite. I not so long ago came up with a thought that showrunners wanted to show us something with this.

I mean Sun stated that he wishes he was dead then he became conduit for star's power and help with a plan to get rid of Eclipse despite being against killing and experiencing hallucinations because he killed Bloodmoon - a killer robot who irl would be considered a criminal..

I think that what showrunners tried to show us is that Sun was hoping that star's power would kill him and that's why he didn't think about the Eclipse and the consequences of their plan to get rid of him.. In that time Sun was passively suicidal and found an opportunity to put himself in deadly situation - he became conduit for star's power which could kill him..

People who attempt suicide often times don't think about anything else at that moment (I've read what people who attempted suicide were saying about how it is).. They don't think about their family or job or anything else..

When I was in the closest to attempt suicide moment in my life.. I didn't think about my family who were doing their own things in their rooms in the same house.. I felt tempted to take my own life when everyone else was in the house.. I felt numb, it felt so easy, an easy way to end the pain and suffering I was feeling.. I didn't do anything to myself.. but I won't deny that I wasn't thinking about anything else in that moment..

And I think that it was similar with Sun.. I might be wrong but I think that it keeps Sun's character consistent and it doesn't make him a hypocrite that I saw some people thought he is..

It didn't sit right with me. I don't think that Sun is hypocrite. I think that back then Sun was in poor mental state and tried to get killed.

And now I think that Sun tries his best for his family. He got seemingly better for the sake of his family. He definitely is in better mental state compared to what it was back when he hallucinated BM and OM but I worry that Sun is trying to keep the facade that he's fine for the sake of his family because he needs to be strong for them. But there are signs that Sun is experiencing some mental anguish. He dissociates in stressful situations, he has memory issues and often doesn't know what is happening around him. Some of those things Sun displayed before Eclipse returned.

But Sun was trying to portray that he was in his best mental state till Eclipse showed up.. and apparently only then he started stressing out and his mental state got worse..

It seems very contradictory to me. That's why I'm scared that Sun may try to harm himself or try to kill himself.. because suicidal thoughts and ideation may return. And I read that when someone gots better mentally the risk that they may attempt suicide is high when they displayed attempted suicide before.

And getting yourself in deadly situation might be a sign of suicidal behavior. And we know that Sun expressed that he has suicidal thoughts prior to becoming conduit for star's power.

Show was also stating things like Sun possibly having a schizophrenia or being bipolar. And I think that showrunners wouldn't make that as a joke because it would be inappropriate of them. Sun has symptoms of some sort of psychosis. He was depressed, still might be.

People who suffer from such serious mental disorders are at higher risk of being suicidal and attempting suicide.

I might be wrong but am I really exaggerating when I'm worried that Sun may try to kill himself?

When for someone who supposed to be in his best mental state he gives signs that he isn't.

And there are still some hints in gaming episodes implying that Sun has suicidal thoughts. And he may still be only passively suicidal.

But I personally think that he has a suicide plan but Eclipse's return prevented him from going through with it. Who read my posts knows what I'm talking about.

I might be wrong. But these are just my thoughts. It's my opinion.

And like I said I realised after rewatching the Earth therapy session with Sun that Earth sees that something is off with Sun even though I didn't like the episode at first. I always try to see different sides of things.

But I think that I have as much right to say that Sun is suicidal as people who say that Sun is in his best mental state indeed.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I won't be answering to posts that I disagree with to not stir any more arguments.

But I won't change my mind just because others (maybe even majority of fans) see things differently than me. Am I wrong? Maybe. But I want to states my thoughts and opinions even if they're wrong.

And also I tried to share my experiences in means to explain why I think Sun experience x,y,z.. I didn't try for it to be seen as me projecting myself on Sun too much.. I just simply thought that my experiences will help in explaining why I think this and that so no one would think that I'm just taking things out of thin air..

I'm 100% not good at explaining things and that's why I create so much confusion for which I'm truly sorry.

I hope that what I wrote makes some sense this time.

my relationship with light is complicated.

on one hand, a massive migraine trigger. i hid indoors most of the summer. sunglasses when it's overcast. miserable.

on the other hand, light therapy is so good for bipola depression, it's also a potential mania trigger. energizing.

so when it finally got dark enough that i had my ceiling lamp on for most of the day -- the ceiling lamp with the 6500K bulbs i got when the warmer ones started pissing me off and my plants needed some extra light anyway -- i got hit with an energy spike in the exact opposite way to people who are energized by summer and get low mood the second there's a rainy day with a couple orange leaves around.

hmm.

I’m new to this platform but understand you can put your feelings and thoughts as if I was writing in my diary, though never done that before either, I have bipolar , Eupd, and PTSD, with everything going on in the world atm things have been getting on top of me a bit I have a great support network with my mental health worker liz is great and compassionate, but you can only say so much as not to think things are to bad and want to take drastic measures, I’m not suicidal but have been in the past but I do have a compulsion to feel envious of people who are worse off than me even people that have been drastically ill with COVID it’s not that I want it but it the thought if I did I would be in hospital and my goto place for comfort is to find a way to be admitted to hospital is this crazy or do you or someone you no feel this too...
