The crew at BOSS never fail to impress when it comes to Delay Pedals (or any pedals, for that matter), and that is certainly the case with the DM-101 Delay Machine!! Check out our lengthy demo below, cheers!!

A short story of my pedalboard)) I’ve bought this Furman spb-8 some where in the middle of 2000’s. I’ve had there only my Boss GT-8 and Tubeman, but when I bought Marshall JVM 210 I understood that I need something for pedals that I started buying more and more)) Then it has been changed as we see on these photos. Finally I turned to the start point. Now I’m waiting for my Quad Cortex processor and all these pedals will be moved to a studio rack

Four years ago, Corduroy Institute released Abruptly Forgetting We Never Were...
This 2019 mini-album was our first artistic statement to feature more than four songs.
Synthesizers, drum machines, the Telecaster, and the Bass VI feature prominently on the record. It also continued the established methodology of multitracked improvisations and cut-up lyrics.
However, these experimental pop pieces feature two unique approaches we never pursued again: varispeed parameter-locked loops on the Elektron Digitakt and modular-like chains of effects pedals played as a synthesizer. The latter can be heard on "Straddling the Dimness" while the former appears on numerous tracks, most notably "The Lofty Concerns of the Lowly."
Upon release, this mini-album garnered little attention and remains an obscure catalog entry even today. Corduroy Institute itself has even gone so far as to publicly critique certain choices on the first half of the record. Nevertheless, the second half contains some of our finest moments.
Today we invite you to visit Bandcamp so you may generate your own opinion on this work. It is available for the special anniversary price of 4 USD for this week only.

Finished modding my Boss AW-2 auto wah. It's got an up/down switch for the filter direction, a wide wah sweep, a lower 'quack' frequency, I've fixed how thin it sounds and generally unfucked a pretty bleh design. I also swapped the switch for a clicky one out of a keyboard because the stock switch was a little sketchy.
I pulled the battery clip out because I’ll never use it and tucked the filter direction switch in the battery compartment.

5 Best Dumble Style Pedals For 2023 (Includes Budget Options)
5 Best Dumble Style Pedals For 2023 (Includes Budget Options)
1. J.Rockett The Dude J.Rockett’s The Dude is designed to capture the tone of the Dumble Overdrive Special amplifier. I’m not sure which Dumble Overdrive Special this pedal is based on. Their writeup mentions both Larry Carlton and Robben Ford. But their ODS amps were both individually voiced. Regardless – this is my personal favorite Dumble style pedal that I have ever played from a pure…

BOSS - SUPER OverDrive SD-1
"I've had this pedal for 42 years. How do I know? Because the word 'Canopy' engraved on the front was the name of my band and I reckon we did our first gig in 1982. Played through an Orange 2 x 12 valve 50 which I wish I'd kept. It has no harness for the battery, the knobs are long gone and the led is very dim, but it works perfectly and has a completely unique smell that it has always had. None of my other Boss pedals ever smelled the same. Lay dormant in a box for at least 20 years until I dug it out to use in an AC/DC trib band (now sadly defunct). I will never sell it."

Sunday, August 21, 2022: Three months ago today, Corduroy Institute added a second melodic layer onto Corduroy 73.
Most of the first melodic layer was riddled with uncertainty and rambling deviations which failed to convey a sense of purpose for this piece. The end of that improvisation, however, provided several glimpses of worthwhile avenues for exploration: A two-note Mel9 sliding ostinato to undergird the harmonic content and a V-Synth figure which relies upon just four notes.
After a lengthy respite, we decided to record a new layer in which we focused on maximizing the effectiveness of these motifs. This self-referential act was nearly akin to sampling one's own self. The reductive approach allowed the song to move more concisely, permitting the rhythmic content to shine through without being muddled by clashing harmonic content.
Unfortunately, our performance of this new melodic layer was not recorded by any video camera. Any expressions of satisfaction about this performance are forever lost to time, but let it be clear: Corduroy 73 appears to be complete in terms of musical content.
As the session concluded, it remained to be seen whether the piece would be given vocals. Furthermore, we still had to devise a way of contending with the problems caused by the occasional loss of MC-707 drums due to mistimings on the Scatter function.
Whatever became of Corduroy 73? Further details forthcoming.
