it's really nice that people tell me that they love Oz bc that gives me the heartbreaking task to tell you that he kind of sucks, actually;

well, okay, Oz doesn't suck. but he's repressing gay feelings in the 80s, so at times he isnt the nicest person around.

he's a part of the Hawkins Tigers basketball team by virtue of him being tall and fast, and it has taken many pleas from Jason Carver to keep him on the team after repeated incidents of Oz punching the shit out of the opponent. he and Jason have a strained acquaintance-ship at best, but Jason is one of the few people who knows when he's reached Oz's limit.

see, Oz has this anger problem. ever since he was little he's taught himself to push down ever single emotion he has, resulting in him being possibly the most emotionally constipated person in the entire world. for good reason, though, because he's relatively certain that Hawkins and the world at large aren't exactly ready for the whole being gay thing.

this is also partially why Oz can't stand to be around Eddie, though it takes him a while to figure that out. because Eddie makes him feel things, and he can't deal with that.

his inability to deal with emotions is also the reason Vecna is after him in the first place, so you can imagine the viscious cycle he's stuck in.

I want to say he'd be pals with Emma but again; he kinda sucks. he doesn't really like Steve in the beginning either, but the two grow closer, so I like to imagine he and Emma would as well. Robin has a special place in his heart, though, so I can very vividly picture him giving Emma the third degree. very "what are your intentions with my Robin?" lol.

once Oz realizes he's actually safe with Steve and the others he'd finally come out of his shell a bit more, and I like the idea of him and Emma bonding over being traumatized and gay.

Ok so there not siblings lmaoo but cousins and a great great something aunt

So first will start with Charlotte, she's a ghost who's currently terrorizing Hawkins. Charlotte's technically one of those small-town brutal accidents turned into scary stories you tell children to behave. For a while, she's been haunting the now Creel house until she started to explore new horizons. At first, she's the main suspect in the killings mostly because the mannerism of their deaths and Charlotte's are kinda similar.

Eleanor is my sorta mean cheerleader. She doesn't bully people but she can get really snippy. Despite the warning from literally everyone, Eleanor is the first one to try to get close to Charlotte. She doesn't know why but there is something about the ghost that has her intrigued. Was thinking of making her an Eddie oc but idk if I like it.

Freddie is a history nerd, he was the one to figure out who Charlotte truly was. Might be the only one who finds it cool to have a ghost relative wandering around (minus the whole wanting to murder the whole town). He wasn't a big fan of Steve's, even as children he would grudgingly hang out with him but that did change when he became less of a dick.

Oh, and Harringtons and Blackthorns are related.

Wendy and Angelica had a rocky relationship growing up due to how different they are in some respects. Don’t get me wrong, Wendy still kept in contact with her sister after leaving for England, but there was always some tension there for them. Coming back for Jonathan’s funeral wasn’t something Wendy was ready for at the time, but she did call her sister and sent flowers in the hopes of maybe helping a little.

Wendy is massively supportive of Lucie and her music - because Wendy loves rock music so she’d totally be that aunt who gets merchandise for The Tomorrow People. Melody likes the music as well, and she’d so be a hype woman for everything that they did.

Wendy is prepared to fight Lazslo most of the time. Really only the girls can stop her from acting out her dislike towards him, or starting an argument with her sister because of how toxic he can be. She also has no qualms with talking about her bisexuality when he’s around, especially if it will keep his homophobia off Lucie.

Lucie acts as a kind of go-between for Luke, Wendy and Melody (still undecided about if she’ll see them at some point, but until that point Lucie helps with it all).

Lucie and Melody have been in contact with each other since they were about five. Angelica and Wendy tried to bridge the gap between them as it had been ten years since Luke’s death - and a new millennium helps matters too. It didn’t go too well, but the cousins were allowed to talk to each other. Eventually they started pestering their parents to keep calling, and this went on until they were old enough to have emails and then later video calls and things.

As soon as the English Pattersons move back to LA, Melody goes to see Lucie. Lucie spends a lot of time with her aunt and cousin - splitting time between them and the Molinas when things at home are tough. Melody tries her best to do whatever Lucie loves best - even if it’s not something she’d pick. They also bake from time-to-time - with Wendy helping sometimes, especially with brownies.

Sunset Curve songs played as loudly as they dare whenever possible. This only gets worse when the boys turn up and start doing some songs live. Bonus points for times when Julie is there as well for new music.

Late night heart-to-hearts between Wendy and Lucie about sexuality. Probably going to Pride at least once and getting so many photographs to remember a happy day.

👀 What is the best compliment you've ever received about something you wrote/created?

That it inspired intense emotions in them (like skyrocketing their anxiety lol) and that it got them through tough times in their lives. The fact that even writing a fanfic can have such an impact on a person is phenomenal to me. I hope I can continue to help people looking for an escape or comfort in some way.

Hmmm, the last line I wrote was probably this:

Kit feels like groaning, trying to decide if she wants to just collapse against the ground or force her way through it so the kids don’t see her struggle.  “Come on, Auntie!

🌈 Do you prefer to write in "our world" or in a fantasy world?

It depends on what I'm writing. Generally, there's some fantasy of some kind. Even my original work can be considered urban fantasy.

🎀 What is the biggest compliment you could give your character?

Depends on the character. All of them are pretty steadfast and try to do what they believe is the right thing (though it may not be right for everyone...)

❤️ In what ways are you and your OC similar?

Caffeine addiction. The ocs that have a hard time trusting people...that comes from me. Also any sarcastic remarks or dry responses...are also shared with me. Sarcasm and dark humour run through my family. e

📃 Tell us a summary of your current WIP!

A story about choices and the repercussions of them, about sacrifice and what we give for those we love, as well as one of dealing with guilt, longing and coming to terms with loss. Kit's only goals are ensuring the safety of her niece in this world they suddenly find themselves in, figuring out what happened and why she's remembering voices she's never heard before. When all of Kit’s plans go astray, leading her to come face to face with a tattooed demon in the middle of a standoff, her desperate attempt to protect her niece changes the fate of a few. (Rengoku Kyojuro x oc)

Behold! Fashion! If you know the reason for the final battle, you also know why Cora has to show up with maximum slay. It was a real challenge to figure out a way to make the outfit both fit the leather theme and make it still feel like Cora, because she's generally more the type for softer, flowier outfits. But she's also the type for fashion, and you can't tell me that she wouldn't jump at the opportunity to go full-on leather and fishnets and a good amount of sex appeal. If the latter doesn't work on her enemy, it still definitely works on Sanji and Zoro, which means more protection for her, because they would not let anyone hurt her.

Look below the cut for Zoro and Sanji's outfits for reference and to see what's below Cora's jacket and half skirt (it's spicy). If you want, I'll also write some ramblings on the scene(s) that this outfit is for! Just let me know :)

She would play as a child with the royal children and their friends. Very quickly she learned her place. Her father, Colonel Ryoto Shiguro, had too often reminded her that he was the Prince, and that his younger sister was the Princess. Kari was a mere soldier’s child who was allowed to play with them. Meet my ‘V’ from Cyberpunk 2077!

A certified mess who used to work at Arasaka.

Johnny ship, definitely got something homoerotic going on with Panam.

Valerie grew up in Central Night City with her Corpo parents. After their divorce when she was ten, she splits her life between her mother’s luxury apartment and her father’s run down place next to El Coyote Bar. This is where she meets Jackie and a fast friendship is formed.

As she develops, her mother blames all ‘rebellion’ on her father and gets Valerie, now known as ‘V’, an internship at Arasaka where she gains a new nickname ‘Foxy’ and works her way up the counter intelligence department.

After a messy relationship with her boss and being kicked out onto the street, V starts her career as a mercenary and she watches as her life is rebuilt, then torn down again.

She’d survive whatever was thrown at her, and she’d save Johnny too.
