i watched the toh pilot episode, here's my reaction

ooookay i so wasn't expecting what i just watched- I WANT MORE

alright alright i lost my shit actually

Amity stood up for Luz and the fact that she said this was the first time anyone had done that for her is just so sad...

and Luz gave her a drawing as a 'thank you' ( ꒦ິ ཀ ꒦ິ ) she's so sweet

oh and also!!!! first bigger change is that Amity was an exchange student in the human realm! i wonder why her parents sent her there and if there's any angsty reason for that (cuz yk yeah i'm a sucker for angst esp if it's Amity related)

my first thought when i saw this frame: "if i could picture how my mind looks like this would be it"

girly just casually grabbed a key and travelled between realms- do most witches and demons have a portal key or is it exclusive??

pontalo fnaf movie crossover au (this is not the official name) by @castiels-destiny and I

Edit: It’s now Five Nights at Pontalo LMFAOOOO

(Pontalo is a Wings of Fire AU made by me about the seven/eight tribes on the continent Pontalo, information about the AU is here)

The Afton family are BloodWings, and Mrs. Afton & Vanessa are SwordWings.

The Schmidts/Emilys are LightWing/SunWings. Specifically Abby is more of a SunWing.

The ghost kids are all different tribes; however, William turns them into LightningWings when he killed them, making them control the animatronics with their manipulation of electricity.

SwordWings are just BloodWings that have weaker or no dark powers and have armor and use weapons, fighting hand-to-hand combat.

Mrs Afton was found out by William to be a SwordWing when he finds her armor and kills her. Vanessa takes and wears her armor in honor, and hides the fact she's a SwordWing to William until she defends Mike and Abby from him, which leads to her wings getting permanently damaged and clipped by William, and getting put into a comatose state.

Vanessa didnt know her mother had been a SwordWing until she found her armor, as SwordWings were heavily despised and kill on sight for BloodWings. She finds out her mother is dead, and becomes a SwordWing herself, despising her father for killing her, yet loving him because he had raised her.

I think she probably found her armor like after the MCI happens and she has to clean up after William, adding onto her pain.

BloodWings kill LightWings, soo the Schmidts are LightWings. Abby is a SunWing because she's a little ball of sunshine lmfaooo

Probably a few things will be changed like their designs and species but this is the gist of it

(thinking about the way he convinced her he was still himself. his smile when she said his name. the way he said hello. the way he simply looked at her. how he had to act like everything was normal because he was so scared she was gonna leave him. the hurt when she asked him to change back, just exacerbating that fear even more. him trying to play it off as if he's totally fine with sending her home even though it's absolutely and utterly the last thing he'd ever want to do. his pride at finally getting her to smile, only to be immediately dashed when she snapped at him. the way he made the worst impression after that and scared the life out of her.

not to be true crime posting on main but i think i'm falling down the wm3 rabbit hole again

#xenia.txt #when i tell you this case keeps me up at night to this day #not even the murders themselves as much as the general public's reception to and opinions on the case 3 decades later like #i get why it;s always been so divisive especially after the pl docus came out (lots of opinions on those btw none of them are good #from the bottom of my heart fuck you joe berlinger and bruce sinofsky)#but it's truly baffling how no one is willing to do the research on what is arguably THE most well documented true crime case in recent #history like. everything that's ever been released to the general public is available online and i mean everything #you can find all the court files trial transcripts depositions interogation tapes aerial photos you name it it's out there for anyone with #internet connection to access at any and all hours of the day #and yet people are still foaming at the mouth fighting on reddit abt their innocence based off nothing but a couple of movies like #bffr with me right now!! almost every point the innocenters make can be easily debunked by scrolling through callahan for 15 minutes #'but they've been pushing for dna testing since their release so they can't be guilty' baby the case is closed!#it's been closed the second they took the plea. they can be striking under that courthouse and it still won't change a thing and they knowi #that's why they're pushing for it in the first place but that's just my opinion #^ and i say they but it's really only echols which makes a lot of sense to me personally #and if you want to talk abt dna testing let's talk abt the one that was done in 2011 and how the defense hurried to propose the plea as soo #as they got the results! let's talk abt those cause no one's ever seen them and i would very much like to #braga share the results the people want to know!!#makes me wonder which pieces of evidence they even submitted for that 2011 testing because if i'm remembering correctly #there was one that would've closed this case instantly and maybe that's why the results were never disclosed and the plea was rushed #but that's also just my opinion #and it's also interesting how the majority of people who have in fact deep dived into this case #(and i'm not talking abt big true crime youtubers as i'm very sceptical abt their research abilities)#all collectively lean towards guilty. much to think about #i was hoping someone would make another ~actually~ unbiased documentary for the 30th anniversary and go over all the case files #but i don't think that's even realistic at this point seeing as everyone and their mother has some sort of an opinion on this case #hbo deserves another lawsuit for this. they should've never won the first one in the first place #true crime tw

#yeah!#derry girls #actually thought about this when i was studying today #the punk scene in ni is soo interesting to me #and how derry girls fits into art created about the troubles #because the vast majority of media about them has focused on the violence and political 'struggles'. and understandably so #but both derry girls and the undertones focused on teenager's lives . with the troubles on the periphery #teenage kicks is about the life of one teenager who fancies a girl basically #and derry girls is about a group of teenagers who struggle with ordinary things about being a teenager like school parents and crushes #and both the undertones in the 70s and derry girls today showed the rest of the uk/ireland (and further afield) that ni is more than just #violence and sectarianism. and that the people (esp teenagers) here are just like people and teenagers everywhere #which was a BIG deal in the 70s and honestly kind of a big deal now too when you think about english ignorance about ni lol #(one commentator on a guardian review of derry girls said that it hadnt occurred to him when he was growing up that catholics in ni were #just ordinary people just like him and his friends and family. which kinda shows the extent to which propaganda regarding ni functioned in #britain during the troubles - and still today in some ways)#it also feels significant that both derry girls and the undertones were created by working class catholics from derry but maintaining #a non sectarian aspect is also important - the point is that they both portrayed the realities of being a teenager which crossed religious #and political barriers. i could write a whole essay on this honestly #kinda moved on from the punk scene aspect hmmm in ep 3x05 of derry girls stiff little finger's 'alternative ulster' was played #which calls on the listener to 'grab it and change it - it's yours' to show that ordinary people - esp teenagers - have the power to create #a better society and a better life and a better ulster. and in 3x07 that's exactly what they did.
