I started episode 9 but had to pause. Like I literally just said this a few hours ago, thinking I'd be ready after dinner, like a clown :

End quote. Turns out I cannot. It's not even about Phee and Jin, it's about Non. I think I mentioned it somewhere but Non deserves to have people ready to go bat for him (thank lord for Tan, can't spell 'stan' without 'Tan'). We've seen him be used and abused and ignored and forgotten over and over again, and Phee's behavior with Jin plays into this pattern. Of course you'd move on at lightning speed, of course you wouldn't care if the man is innocent or not -Non was never truly 'there' anyway. I'm exaggeraring on purpose, but you get the idea. It's not a bad decision though ! It's interesting. But it frustrates the holy potatoe out of me and I won't put myself through this.

And of course, of goddamn course, there's my greatest fear ever for this show : if Non is alive then Phee will have to choose between helping Jin or helping Non for sure (can't hope for a poly route in this bleak bleak world uh). And it's over for me if he chooses Jin. Bit it would deserve its own post.

ANYWAY. I know what that means. It means I won't be able to watch this series every Saturday. I'll continue watching ep 9 if the spoilers I get for ep 10 next week make me want to.

Another day/week/hour of accumulating thoughts which haven't marinated enough.

That Zzinu guy (I can't remember his actual name) is really hanging out with everyone relevant in the industry, he's everywhere 👀 I saw him with RM on IG and at some concert, had no idea they were buddies.

Why did Jungkook come back just for a few days? What was that damn urgent to fly to Seoul only to go back to US in no time? I thought someone would enlist, but nope.

I took the bus downtown twice today instead of calling for a car. I have to stop being delusional and accept that I'm not rich.

I'm not gonna write a review of Tedros' album cause I don't feel there's a point, but I do have like a few things to say. Why is it being talked about like he started working on Layover 3 years ago? I mean, he started working on music, yes, but this thing that came out? That's like some team who probably put together the music a lot more recently. But hey, I'm just babbling so what the fuck do I know? Slow Dancing sounds good. I mean, nice enough to have it in the background in a playlist. All the songs feel too short, like they're some samples and they just decided to release them that way. Since his contribution was mostly singing the actual songs, it feels like he gave Min Hee Jin a pinterest board of who is Taehyung and from that entire thing, she created the Kim Taehyung artiste aesthetic. It's her vibe all over it. Just as it's her entire shtick all over NewJeans. It screams more MHJ than the actual idols.

I tried so hard in the past 30 min to stop myself from being bitchy, but I can't help it. To those who think that they got out of the jikook cult and now they're smarter and feel the need to still use the tag to post their bullshit? Wake up, you're still in a cult, you just switched to another. Absolutely pathetic. I wish I could fuck with pjms cause I admire the way they stand up for Jimin and they're like the most organized fanbase. But the moment they started using cult/tkkr narative and making Jimin sound like a puppet, I just knew they're not better. And a sign that I cannot affiliate myself to any group in this fandom, I'm riding on my own like I always have.

You know what's ironic though? Jikookers are basically the only ship fandom within bts who since the beginning and especially in the latest years, should have just sat back and relax cause they're so damn privileged. No other pair in bts is giving what dumb and dumber (I call them that with all my love) are doing together, but there's not a day in which I don't see stupid anons or jikookers fighting and bringing arguments. Waste of time!

And in that vein, pjms would only have to learn from their god damn classy bias who is no doormat and act accordingly. Fight for him without acting so damn stupid. In terms of artistry, he's the best out there out of this group and others in his generation. Isn't that fucking cool? And look at his behavior. Let army and kpop stans get frustrated thanks to Jimin's achievements and how you can contribute to that, not using the same foul language which only trashy stans are using. Do better ffs. Fix that attitude. And stop believing you know Jimin's brain and soul inside out. No one does. It only makes you sound like any other delusional kpop stan.

Key's Good & Great is out. I only had time to watch the mv once during actual work hours (fitting) and I can't get into anh details, but I liked the idea of workaholism tied to a simulation. There's tons of layers and stuff to be analyzed there, perhaps some other time.

I played the Resident Evil 4 demo and let me say *chef's kiss* I did want to give my opinion about it! One of the first things I've noticed is that they absolutely gave Leon a form of PTSD from Raccoon City and I'm glad they did. That might sound weird, but I can't believe he didn't walk away without trauma. I mean, this dude was literally fighting for his life for more than twenty-four hours. So, the fact that it shows in his face and mannerisms speaks volumes about the detail done in this game. Is he still giving those cheesy one-liners? Yeah. No one has to worry about it. Is it still challenging? I died. Multiple times. One of the aspects I loved about it was the added stealth and the fact that there will be times that you have to use it. You don't have to, but Jesus Christ, use it! The developers at Capcom really did want to respect the original game and there were even interviews showing their doubts about even remaking this one since they really do consider the original a masterpiece in their eyes. All in all, don't think of this as a replacement, but more of as a game that could be built upon since gaming really has transformed into a beast of its own making.

i'm glad you enjoyed the demo. and i hope you'll have fun with the full game when it comes out, too! i'm sure if you liked the demo this much you'll love the game too! :)

altho i must say, the thought that you can somehow see someone's depression or trauma on their face and in their expressions is... not something i find realistic or something to strive for in media. i know people who have been severely depressed but it doesn't outwardly show in their expressions. so giving Leon super low eyebrows and making him look stern is, in my opinion, at best a childish and lazy way of trying to portray trauma, if that's what they're doing with it. how a person looks has no automatic relation to how they feel.

i agree with you 100% that Leon definitely walked away from Raccoon City with trauma. that's not at all what i'm trying to criticize. but i'm so tired of this fandom equating someone's resting face or expression with what they feel inside. (not directed at you, specifically, just the fandom at large). how does one look depressed or traumatized? it's just not a thing.

also, I don't mind getting occasional messages about the remake, but I just want to reiterate something: I am not going to play it when it comes out. I am not going to excitedly look for new content about it. i have the tag blocked for a reason.

sometimes i might venture out and look at gifs or opinions about it, hell, i even reblogged some of the things i actually liked! but I've gotten multiple messages from (well meaning and nice) people trying to tell me to "just enjoy the game!" and I have to say i'm feeling a little pressured to do something i have no intentions to do.

i wish that you all have LOADS of fun playing the remake! i hope you'll enjoy yourself and i hope you get to be super excited about it! i genuinely do!

I try very very hard not to have any thoughts about it. Ever. I'm really not into -cest ships and I find it disturbing.

It's something I run into time to time with Shouto whump fics, but I usually don't read them.

I may sometimes like or even retweet Shouto & Touya art from an artist who ships them as a ship, but I am genuinely interested in the sibling dynamic without the "cest" being added to it - so I only retweet/reblog art that for me, personally, doesn't have a -cest flavour to it.

Helaena was 14 when she had the twins, which means she must have been 13 or barely 14 when they were conceived. At this point in time Aemond was 12 or barely 13 in return and much as the fandom wants the two of them to have hooked up from the beginning, I will not accept that a literal child got his sister pregnant, even if the world at that time might have made that possible, but it makes me highly uncomfortable.
