OC Fact swap: Cassius Ovess has a collection of artifacts/heirlooms in his room from his Clan. Most of the items used to belong to his father, but Cassius took the collection and expanded upon it. Stuff in the collection includes an old Phase II clone helmet, a mythosaur amulet made from black beskar, and the first beskad knife that Nika learned to forge on her own!

Savii’s Buir Abara originally came from a tertiary branch of a line famous for it’s assassins and spies. The House Aranov’la is quite respected. While Abara’s particular branch was shrinking for several generations, (While important, Spies and assassins go through cycles of being very looked down upon on Mandalore, being a people who like to be very in-your-face about who they wanna fight/kill.) they inherited several rare written texts of family lore and history that have HUGE value to any Mandalorians. Even more importantly, Abara managed to hold on to these text through the great purge and night of a thousand tears. They’re exceedingly rare pieces of Mandalorian history and culture.

When the Aranov’la tribe learned that Abara’s family had been wiped out, they enquired as to the texts before the existence of survivors. Had the whole line been erased, the Aranov’la would’ve been entitled to them. However, Abara was a teenager and rightfully ANGRY that family hadn’t come for them, hadn’t even asked about them, and stayed with the House of Vizla where they’d been adopted, meaning the texts of Aranov’la secrets are now part of the Vizla texts.

Abara has continued to record events in these old books, and when they pass, Savii is likely to become the one who continues to record lore in them.
