After hearing the Executor Alter rumours, I'm once again reminded of the incredibly funny story of how Ch'en managed to powercreep Executor in literally every way in what i assumed to be a direct, targeted attack by the folks over at hypergryph

Starting off with gameplay comparisons-

Executor's a 5 star spreadshooter?

Well, Holungday is a 6 star spreadshooter, with higher stats and TWO talents. And also live 2D.

Executor gets to choose between a big attack buff (s1) or double hitting (s2)?

Ch'en gets BOTH of those things, plus a big FUCK YOU defense and movement speed debuff (s3).

The def debuff is also higher than the amount of def ignore that Executor gets from his talent, and it's also a debuff, which means surrounding allies can benefit from it. So, y'know, better than him in every single way.

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL. This also extends to their base skills.

Executor's base skill makes it such that all sniper training speed is improved by +30%.

WELL, Holungday's base skill has that +30% increase, but also an ADDITIONAL effect of increasing it by +65% if upgrading to M1.

'It's alright,' you might say. 'Both of Holungday's base skill slots are for the training room. There's no way Executor's boring control center skill can be touched, right?"

THAT'S WHERE YOU'RE WRONG. Base Ch'en has that, as well as an additional effect that stacks with other LGD operators in the control center. While not particular a significant or useful buff, it's still an upgrade.

i am still consistantly so mad about Hortus de Escapismo. sure i haven't read it but i have like. no interest to. you know how bad you have to fuck it in order for me to not care?? reaper is my favorite class of operator and laterano is my favorite story arc. somehow you managed to follow up on the only uninteresting plot thread in laterano and then made the 6* reaper an alter for the most boring man in the game. how did you manage this
