I feel like Chloe is what Inventing Anna tried and failed to be. I am absolutely in love with Erin Doherty, she’s the reason I’ve started watching this and she’s just as amazing as she was on The Crown. Added bonus is seeing Jack Farthing, because I’m always happy to see someone from Poldark, plus I love that he’s having a bit of a career moment right now.

Donald Glover, you've done it again, you twisted SOB! Swarm was a wild ride that I enjoyed every moment of. The commentary on mental illness, loneliness, stan culture and how absurdly far folks are willing to go for thier idols was so well executed. Theres a lot of satire in the narrative of the series, but it's crazy to know that most of the stories are actually based on true events 🤯

Cinema Starview Presents: The Swarm…

I watched Swarm, and I really liked it!! It was great commentary on how people with untreated mental health issues, due to the insensitivity of some foster care systems, can make people go crazy. As well as how people like stans can become too obsessive and forming parasocial relationships with their idols can be sooo dangerous.

I've been in lots of fandoms and have seen the ups and downs of fandoms. I'm a veteran of fandom wars, and I vow to not be an active member of them anymore and just be a casual supporter

I do think the show was a little bit all over the place in some instances and trying to tie certain events that did happen to Beyoncé and her fans all back to one person was comical. I would LOVE if this show became an anthology series for other fanbases and their idols. Like Barbz, K-Pop fans, Monsters, Swifties, Arianators, Moonwalkers, etc.

Overall, if we do get a season 2, I hope it picks up in a different way with a new character and a new fanbase to explore. But if it doesn’t and we get Dre back again, I wonder where this show will go.
