one of my weird little habits is looking up foreign language versions of musicals. it's always interesting, because I usually have the lyrics memorized so hard that I can hear them in my head along with the new version, so I know what they're singing even though I don't know the language

I'm mildly obsessed with this Korean version of Chicago. Billy Flynn is played here by Choi Jae-rim and holy HELL he does an amazing job. he does actual ventriloquism! and that final note!! Min Kyoung-a is also great as Roxie. The staging and costuming and choreo is excellent, though I'm curious as to why they eliminated the Mary Sunshine character (I don't know if she's in the show at all, and don't know if the fact it's a drag part has anything to do with it)
