A soon to be IF. Rewritten and better than ever.
You’re a powerful witch and talented healer, though few know that much of your abilities stem from your ‘unique relationship’ with Death. When you’re not healing ailments, both magical and mundane, you’re helping Death collect the souls of the dead.
When Death goes missing you have no choice but to track him down, aided by a badgering customer and a responsible Ankou.
Inspired by tales like Godfather Death and The Thief and His Master.

Steam has banned and is removing all games using blockchain, cryptocurrencies and NFTs from their platform.
The article has a dev claim it's because "NFTs have value" which is a very disingenuous way of explaining valve's stance. It's because games that allow nfts to be obtained allow for exchanging of in-game rewards for real life money, aka gambling.
For now this appears to only apply to games that allow the crypto and NFTs to be farmed thru gameplay (many MMOs published in the last two or so years have that built in), but it sets a precedent that I hope will result in a blanket ban of any publisher that gets involved with crypto/NFTs, because they always result in someone getting scammed.
Take a look at this nft. It apparently sold for $1.59 mln. What actually happened, however, was that Ethereum worth that amount of money at the time of sale was transferred from one anonymous wallet to another anonymous wallet, under the pretense of paying for a link to an image. We do not know who the holders of either wallet are. We do not know of they're two different people or the same person. We do not know the origin of the Ethereum being transferred. It could be all above board and legal, but we cannot know. That's why it's shady.
So if Jason still insists on using NFTs as part of CoG monetization, he may eventually lose the only advantage his publishing company has over publishing on itch.io.
Nfts and crypto are so connected with money laundering and scams, as I have pointed it out to him multiple times, it doesn't matter if his NFTs will be pure and unproblematic, because the entire system is so tainted it's a better choice for a storefront or bank to ban them altogether.
So if y'all were on the fence on wether you wanna transfer from choicescipt to something that doesn't have built in publishing on Steam, here you go. Choice of Games won't have it either, if they include any form of nft based monetization.

Heyy!! Same anon who asked for coding! :D Thank you again, it helped a lot! But I do have another ask related to coding again.. Feel free to ignore in any circumstance or respond any time ;
Do you know the code to make a stat bar?
dsfknwapasfd I feel like I'm asking to much D:
Hey! I'm so glad I could help you! And I'm totally happy to help.
- If anyone is coding Choicescipt, I can help there too!
For opposed stats, simply follow the instructions here.
I'll have more detailed instructions and how to make them non-opposed under the cut!
So first off, this is for the stat bars I used in Esper. They're made using JavaScript, as there isn't a built in stat bar macro in Sugarcube.
You can find your Story Stylesheet and Javascript here:
Tumblr media
The JavaScript is what makes it work, while the Stylesheet is the CSS that styles the bars. You can then change the colours, sizes etc.
If you want just a normal stat bar, not opposed, but want it to match, I still got you! I searched everywhere but couldn't find anyone who'd even just edited the code, so I took matters into my own hands.
I tweaked the widget, removing the left side background, so It became this:
<<widget "fair_minus">><<fair_plus $args[0] -$args[1]>><</widget>>
<<widget "percent_stat">><<nobr>>
<div class="percentBar">
<div style="float:right"></div>
<<= '<div class="percentLeftBg" style="width:'+$args[2]+'%">&nbsp;</div>'>>
<div>&nbsp;$args[0] $args[2]%</div>
</div>
<</nobr>><</widget>>
Note: If you're going to use both these stat bars in your game, you'll need both widgets and a duplicate of the Stylesheet, and you have to change the name of one!
I've also put my code in an easier format here on pastebin.
Good luck and let me know if anything's unclear or you need help! <3

Also I was just informed Jason Stevan Hill:
1) does not own the rights to the CS scripting language
2) was not involved in the creation of the engine
which makes me respect him about as much as I respect people like Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk.
Which is to say not at all. Y'all are the same type of leech.
