Clark: Haven't you ever had a happy birthday?

Lana: Once. I went to a drive-in. It was with my parents. My dad pulled the car up the front row so that the screen filled up the entire windshield. I remember feeling all grown up because I got to sit in the front seat with them. They played Bugs Bunny cartoons before the movie started. I was cold, so my mom wrapped me up in her sweater. I fell asleep before the movie even started between my mom and dad. That's the last time I can remember feeling completely safe.

This. Is. Incredible. 😍 I will ship Clois in every movie version or other TV show if it's created, but in Smallville all I can do is appreciate little moments & respect their relationship b/c of comic canon. Clana was an epic tragedy. They should've ended up together (imo). 😩
