Hello! Could I request a sub!mizu/bottom!mizu x softdomGN!reader that features a nipple play smut scene with a lot of moaning please? Mizu's titties deserves all the love and praise and pleasure!!!!!! Thank you❤️
Note: Ahhh OP this should NOT have taken as long as it did. It was originally to be a modern au, frankly rather vanilla and sweet— but my interests have been seized by shibari as of late. And, guess what I’ve found? The art of “shibrai”( or Kinbaku) in Japan first originated in the Edo period. The art made itself!
So, do take this as a tribute to Mizu’s titties and also the lovely art of shibari. If it’s not to your liking, I can always write that modern version!

“You look so perfect like this.”
The words spill past your lips flowing with the adoration only heard in the prayers of the most devout monks. Mizu, the demon samurai, elusive, raging, and entirely inaccessible to all but you. There she was, the most feared bastard in all of Japan, laying on your bed, bound and panting, drooling with a gag in her mouth as a whore would in any decent brothel. Crimson red, thick and bruising knots were intricately designed to fit snugly around her body, expertly marked by your hands— deft with skill, in loving patterns tracing up and down pale skin. The body that could move like a monster, the body that has taken so many lives and maimed thousands— subdued and helpless, entirely at your mercy.
You see her cheeks redden with embarrassment at the compliment, you see her entire body shudder as goose pimples spike across her scarred skin, you see the glistening quality to her cunt that has your knees buckling with the insatiable desire to run your mouth against her core.
But all things in due time.
No, in the heart of your gaze were the two pert, round, soft mounds of skin that made up the two halves of her buxom, rising and falling as her chest heaved with pleasure. Moving in hypnotic, wave-like movements in sync with her breaths were the two lovely buds that bloomed at the tops of her petite breasts, the color of soft petals, of womanly skin. Your ropes only accentuated the shape of her body, the emphasis on her maidenhood.
“Are you feeling alright, dearest?” You croon, running your fingers along the tight patterns across her body, teasingly tugging at a select few strands that ran the texture of your ropes against her skin in a delicious friction, so much so that her head flew against your mattress as her toes curled and shook with ecstasy. Oh, and to think that this samurai had yet to be defeated in battle. What would his foes think, seeing him as a woman, crying out for pleasure as her voice cracked beneath a gag, face flushed and eyes brimming with tears. You’d barely even touched her.
“I could keep you like this forever, you know…” you begin to contemplate aloud, finally deciding to crawl towards your truest possession on your hands and knees, your warm body hovering over hers as you continued to tease at her desires and fantasies with a malicious tongue.
“You’d fit in beautifully with every display in my palace, every work of art. I could invite the most revered men and women of the nation, I’d let them see you..” Mizu moans at this, writhing with the desire to hide but unable to move. Shy. Finally, your face is aligned with the samurai’s chest. Unable to hold yourself any longer, your mouth falls against the plush skin, hungrily wrapping your wet lips around the hardened bud with a carnal desire, eagerly running the warm, slick muscle of your tongue against the buds of her roses while her entire body contorted with pleasure.
Mmmmph! , she’d say something, anything at all— but your infatuation was unending. With your opposite hand, you grope and massage the delicate, long-abused tissue, milking out the sweetest, most unheard of noises from her pretty mouth. And to think that the display beneath your face would have been mistreated and hidden away all these years behind rough, ugly binds.
You pull away from her breast with a ludicrous pop noise that communicated only filth before you moved your mouth directly over the other half, unleashing the same cruelty of your mouth. The first little bud, now swollen and wet with spit, was pinched in between your thumb and forefinger, the suddenness and crassness of the action making Mizu grunt and buck her hips with want. As a punishment, reward, and reminder, you gently bite down on her breast until she draws in a sharp, stuttering hiss. You groan against the firm, supple skin of her breast before you pull away to take in the sight you created, the ropes binding around and in between her breasts, accentuating their shape— the swollen, reddened bud of her nipples, slick and shining with spit, all because of you.
Your eyes finally move from her chest to her face, soaking in that flushed, almost embarrassed expression she held in her usual sharp features.
“You want it off, fighter?” You ask teasingly before you quickly move to dispose of the gag in her mouth. She’s earned it, after all, being so good beneath you.
By the time it leaves her mouth, the cloth is wet and heavy with drool and Mizu is gasping for air, chest shuddering as she desperately forces her body to catch up with the racing thoughts in her mind. It’s even better like this, you think, seeing Mizu grit her teeth, bite her lips, and grunt in all attempts to keep her dignity and not moan like the whore you knew she was. These thoughts enrich your psyche like opium, and your hands absently find their way to each breast as you straddle her hips. You are comfortable like this, and Mizu is entirely at your mercy.
“Can you imagine your enemies seeing you like this?” You ask lightly, your hands trailing down from her breasts to the smooth dip in her waist, subtle and firm. “The damned, all powerful, blue-eyed half-breed; moaning in my chambers in my palace...”
“(N-Name…)” she tries to grunt, though it escapes her lips as a whimper. She’s embarrassed, humiliated— in any other context you would have backed away and apologized— but you felt her pussy against your skin, you felt the positively soaking quality of her privates against your sheets. She loved this.
“Don’t pretend you don’t like it,” you say knowingly, making those dazzling blue eyes flutter and turn away from you in shame. This calms her, in a way. Words now seem on the verge of leaving her mouth, though shyness, or perhaps embarrassment bids her silent.
“What do you need, dearest? Go ahead, don’t be scared.” You say, encouraging, one hand now abandoning the possessive hold around her waist to gently cradle her cheek. Unable to keep herself from doing so, she leans into the touch, relaxing.
“Water…” she rasps, and your thumb gently runs along her upper cheek.
Easily, you reach over for a chalice filled to the brim with water, gently ushering her head higher before bringing the rim to her lips as you watched her lips drink up the water.
“Just like that, good job…” you hum, making her relax and sigh beneath you. Finally, she’s had enough, almost having drank the cup empty before you put it aside, now facing her seriously.
“If it ever comes to be too much, use the signal. Understand?” You ask as you adjust Mizu’s legs to sit around either side of your hips, bringing yourself closer until your nakedness was flush with her own. She nods affirmative like the good pet she was, going as far as to spread her legs further to grant you better access, an action that made something molten and possessive coil in your chest and gut. No one else in the world would ever see Mizu like this, pliant, shy, and oh so pretty. The sight of those eyes submissive and watery, those cheeks flushed red and those lips bitten to Hell and back were yours and yours alone.
Your hands move down south before you could stop them, swift and eager as one hand pinned Mizu’s left thigh open and against the cushion while your dominant hand pushed two fingers into her gushing warmth, making her grunt and squirm against her bonds. You laugh something genuine as you feel the sheer quality of her arousal on your hands, pulling away just to show her the arousal that has already coating your palm.
“Look at yourself,” you say, eyes blown and voice rushing with warmth. Before Mizu could fix her lips to say anything, you bring your soaked fingers up to your mouth and place them over your tongue, making Mizu gasp in shock at your actions. Mizu’s wetness floods your tastebuds, makes you groan into your hand before you eagerly continue your efforts of working her open and relaxed. To be used, to be worshiped, to be claimed. You shudder at the thought, easily thrusting your fingers in and out of her while she gasps and moans your name like a prayer. A chant, a hymn. [Name! Name! Name!] for all of Japan to hear in answer to the question of who she belonged to.
“K-keep going! Don’t stop! Don’t…s-stop…!” she whined, almost demanding as her cries rise from the depths of her belly in guttural moans— as if she were in battle. Your fingers slow down, caressing her insides in slow, deliberate, cruel swipes of fingers while your thumb circled her clit.
“Is that anyway to ask for anything?” You scold, pushing your thumb against that swollen little bundle of nerves until she hissed and arches her back, leaving her body in a beautiful display of rope, power, and pleasure.
“[N-Name,] please— don’t stop…” she gasps, twitching as her orgasm inches closer and closer the longer you deny her the friction of your touch against her sweet snatch. You only stare expectantly at the near puppy-like gaze she shoots at you, and you begin to understand why people call her a dog. Good dogs listen, good dogs obey. Good dogs get their rewards.
“Beg.” You say, and she sees that your eyes are swarming with a raging storm of lust with her at sail in the dead center. Your hands only slow down to a near stop, and she could’ve sobbed at the loss. She was losing her mind, on the verge of fainting. Despite this, her hands were free, the signal in a moments reach. If she needed to stop, all she had to do was snap her finger and you’d cut her loose, rope be damned. But her hands only shook with desperation as she opened her trembling lips, voice cracking.
“Please, please…please,” she begged, voice breaking as she emphasized the final syllable, to which you easily obliged, attacking her cunt with a ferocity only shown in battle that made her cry out in shock and pleasure. It was an exquisite sight to behold, one that would forever be ingrained in your memory. Here in your bed by your hands, the strongest and bravest swordsman in all of Japan lay moaning like a whore as her orgasm washed over her body and loins in a wave of fire. Yes, she had her blade, her strength, those eyes—But you had your ropes, your tongue, and your wit.
So far, you remain completely undefeated.

A snack box for a birthday party in Bangalore is a vital component of any celebration, and it's essential to ensure that the children attending are treated to delectable delights. In this article, we'll explore the world of "Short Eats" – a term used to describe a variety of bite-sized snacks that are perfect for children's parties in Bangalore. We'll discuss the significance of offering the best children's party snacks in Bangalore and how to create a memorable snack box.
The Importance of Children's Party Snacks in Bangalore
Children's party snacks in Bangalore are special occasions that require thoughtful planning and attention to detail. One of the key elements that can enhance the overall experience is the quality of snacks served. Parents often look for ways to make these events memorable and enjoyable for their little ones, and providing the right snack box is a crucial aspect of that.
Creating the Ideal Snack Box for Birthday Parties in Bangalore
The first step to creating the perfect snack box for a birthday party in Bangalore is understanding the local preferences and tastes. Bangalore, known for its diverse culinary culture, offers a wide range of options when it comes to snacks. Incorporating these local flavors into your snack box can elevate the party experience for both kids and adults.
Exploring the World of Short Eats
Short Eats, a term that originates from Sri Lanka and has found its way into Bangalore's culinary scene, are the perfect choice for children's parties. These bite-sized snacks are not only delicious but also convenient for kids to enjoy. They come in various forms, such as rolls, samosas, and stuffed pastries. The versatility of Short Eats makes them an excellent option for a snack box.
Varieties of Short Eats for Your Snack Box
Samosas: Samosas are an all-time favorite in Bangalore. Filled with spiced potatoes and peas, they offer a perfect blend of flavors and textures. Including mini samosas in your snack box is sure to be a hit with the kids.
Vegetable Spring Rolls: Vegetable spring rolls are not only tasty but also packed with healthy vegetables. The crispy exterior and the savory fillings make them a great addition to your snack box.
Mini Pizzas: Mini pizzas are a fun twist on traditional snacks. You can customize them with various toppings to suit children's preferences.
Stuffed Parathas: Stuffed parathas, like aloo paratha or paneer paratha, are a wholesome option for a snack box. They are filling and loved by children.
Pani Puri Shots: Pani puri shots, a popular street food, can be a unique addition to your snack box. Kids can enjoy filling the puris with tangy and spicy flavors, adding an element of interactivity to the party.
Customizing Your Snack Box for Birthday Parties
Now that you've explored some of the Short Eats options, let's discuss how to customize your snack box for a birthday party in Bangalore. The goal is to ensure that your snack box is not only delicious but also visually appealing. Here are some tips to help you create a snack box that will leave a lasting impression:
Colorful Presentation: Use a variety of colors and shapes to make the snacks visually appealing. Kids are more likely to try different items when they are presented in an attractive manner.
Mix of Sweet and Savory: Balance sweet and savory snacks in your box. While savory snacks are a must, don't forget to include some sweet treats like mini donuts, churros, or fruit skewers.
Dietary Preferences: Consider the dietary preferences and restrictions of the children attending the party. Include options for vegetarians, vegans, and those with allergies.
Themed Snack Boxes: If your party has a specific theme, try to align the snack box with it. For example, if it's a jungle-themed party, include snacks shaped like animals.
Healthy Options: While indulgent snacks are a must, it's a good idea to include some healthy options like fruit platters or vegetable sticks with hummus.
Snack Box Delivery for Birthday Parties in Bangalore
In the hustle and bustle of party planning, convenience is essential. Many professional catering services in Bangalore offer snack box delivery, ensuring that you have one less thing to worry about. Susie Scene #14
Before and after Ch 13 (48-60 hours past Scene 12)
Summary: Susie reaches the end of her rope.
[[48 hours]]
She’s weak, tired, cold, and hungry. She doesn’t know when she started shivering or why she can’t stop. None of this helps her get any sleep, and she’s resorted to mocking the flowers, who mock her right back.
“Stupid, dumbass flowers not worth a damn. Useless shit. People say you’re romantic or some shit but you’re only ever in stories where people die or are trapped and hopeless.”
Trapped and hopeless. Trapp an opeless. Trap-opeles and trand hopetrap-ndlesstr-ope-and.
She flails uselessly onto her back.
If she could send an echo flower with one message, what would she say? Who would she hope picked it up? More importantly who would care?
Her stomach growls and then she growls too. Fucking Ralsei. She curls to the side and hits her fist against the ground repetitively to have something to do.
It doesn’t take away the gnawing in her stomach, but it’s a small distraction. She must have grown unaccustomed to the sensation since Ralsei started feeding her regularly. Now it hits like a truck, here to punish her for ever dreaming she could escape it.
She closes her eyes and all she sees are taunting meals, a pile of unguarded ham sandwiches lined up on a tray, or hot wings or ribs slathered in sauce. She imagines tearing it apart from the bone by her teeth. She thinks of a tender steak, oozing with flavor with each bite. A side of crisp vegetables swimming in garlic butter, and fresh bread that would crack under her touch.
She inhales to take in more of her imaginary banquet. There’s a distinct pasta smell to pair with the garlic. It’s dripping in cheese, tomato, basil. She mentally samples it and its textures. Her mouth waters. She can smell it so vividly. She chews at her lip and opens her eyes. She really can smell it.
She rushes to the bars, pressing her head as close as she can to the scent. It only grows stronger with the echo of footsteps across the hall, and soon the source comes into view.
Ralsei settles outside her cell with a plate of food: lasagna, vegetables, and a bread roll. It all looks home made and warm.
“Hello again, Susie. I see you’ve calmed down some.” The flowers murmur at his presence and her calm very quickly drops. She stares intently at the meal.
“I hope you don’t mind I brought some dinner along. It shouldn’t bother you much since you’re used to skipping meals.”
She huffs a sound very similar to a dragon breathing smoke.
He takes a bite of one of the vegetables. There’s a good assortment of colors, vibrant reds and orange, green, purple, something white. Only some of the shapes are familiar but they all look delicious, some squish under his fork while others provide a solid crunch. The lasagna stretches with strings of cheese just as she’d imagined, revealing layers of color and flavor.
“Give me some,” she demands.
“Huh?” he looks up at her. “But, this is my food. You don’t like taking food from me, remember?”
“I’ve done it before. Give it to me.”
He holds the plate as if considering. “I don’t think you’ve calmed down enough for that. How do I know you won’t just make a big mess like that one time?” He cracks open the bread and the aroma spills out all the more clearly.
“Cause I’m hungry, give me the fucking food.”
“You were hungry that time too.”
“I won’t make a fucking mess, okay? You want me to pinkie swear?”
He sets the plate down on his seat and kneels a safe distance in front of Susie. “If you’re so hungry, I could feed you something while you rest.”
“I can feed myself just fine.”
“I can try my lullaby again.”
“I don’t need your fucking lullaby.”
“Why didn’t it work, by the way?”
“Didn’t what?”
“The lullaby, it stopped working.”
“Oh.” She chuckles as she remembers the trick she’d pulled. “It’s cause I plugged my ears, dumbass.”
She digs a finger into each side and displays the food proudly, before licking it off with a satisfied grin. It tastes as gross as you’d expect. Then she’s hit with the full volume of the echo flowers. Were they that loud before?
Ralsei has a smile of his own. It’s unnerving. “That was so clever of you. I’ll have to be even more careful.” He delivers it like a compliment but Susie gets the feeling that she’s messed up. Her brain is being foggy on the details though.
“Well I’m glad it still works then. Though we can test that if you’d like.”
“No.” She knows she doesn’t like that. She’s fine without sleep, probably. “I want food.” She looks right through him and stares at the unfinished meal like a begging dog.
“Oh, no, I definitely can’t trust you with that. I’ll have to feed you the next time you’re asleep.” He pauses, “But we’re taking a break from the lullaby right now, so maybe another time.” He stands up.
“Where are you going?”
“I have stuff to do upstairs. You’ll be fine. I’ll be back soon.”
“You can’t just leave. Give me some food. You want me to starve down here?” She shouts louder to reach him as he walks away, until the echoes become too loud for her ears. She has the urge to throw something at them but nothing left to toss.
The plate of food still sits just outside her cell, taunting her with its smells. She tries to reach it on her own, manically swiping the air in vain, then sets her head against the bar and stares.
She blinks and shudders, finding herself on the floor. There’s a dull pounding in the back of her head, and a loud buzzing she can’t shake. It takes a minute to realize it’s coming from the flowers.
Her stomach gurgles and she stares up at the ceiling. She stays there and for a long while she doesn’t feel at all. The pain and the hunger are so constant, so encompassing that she can barely differentiate it from herself. It’s just the feeling of existence, background static.
She stares. Maybe she’s waiting, waiting for something, waiting for sleep, waiting for Ralsei. She doesn’t know. There’s no purpose in her actions. There’s no action at all.
Maybe she will fade away like this. Maybe she’s already gone. Maybe she was never here. She’s not here now. She wants to believe she’s not here now. But she is, and she can’t stop being here.
She stares and she blinks. Sometimes her eyes stay closed longer than others, but never long enough.
[[Ch 13 break- 60 hours]]
Her eyes are closed when the world gets louder. She’s on her side now and her brain tries to fill in an image to match the sound. She opens her eyes to help.
There’s the bars, the flowers, and Ralsei. She yawns. He’s saying something. She rubs the sleep from her eyes but her arm is slow and heavy. She doesn’t bother sitting up or turning her head to face him.
“Hello? Ah sorry to interrupt you. I just came to check in. Are you doing alright?” The edges of his words are fuzzy at first but she focuses slowly as if tuning in to a radio channel.
Even if she hears the words, it takes another few seconds to process them, and then to decide a proper reaction. She opts for the easiest route which is to not react.
“Susie?”
She groans and turns away from the noises.
“You must be incredibly tired.”
Her silent back is response enough.
“Would you like to sleep?”
She gives a mutter of confirmation.
“I can help.”
“Hmm?”
“I can help you fall asleep. Would you like that?”
She’s quiet. He sits and waits.
She sits up and faces him wearily. “What?” she croaks.
“Would you like to sleep?” He repeats.
She tentatively responds, “Yes…”
“Would you like my help?”
There’s a pause inside her. There’s something about that which sounds bad. She can’t remember why. But she wants to sleep. She scans her brain just to be sure, then nods.
“You don’t like my lullaby, though.”
She stares. Oh, that’s right. His lullaby is bad. His lullaby means punishment. It means a lack of agency. But this is already punishment, and she doesn’t have agency. She tried to get it but she never managed, and it always hurt to try. She’s tired of trying. She’s tired of hurting. She’s just tired.
“I want to sleep.”
Now it’s his turn to stare. He sits as though expecting something.
She rocks on her hands until it crosses her to try again. “Would you put me to sleep?” then after a beat, “Please?”
He smiles, “Of course.”
He starts a tune and there’s no resistance at all as her eyes fall under their own weight.

Cutie Reviews: TokyoTreat Oct 19
I think I’m doing pretty good progress wise, please be patient with me as I continue to try to review old boxes~
Tumblr media
“October is here, bringing with it those spooky Halloween vibes! Halloween has been growing in popularity in recent years, and since Japan loves their seasonal snacks we had plenty of new, interesting items to choose from! In the spirit of being spooky but kinda cute, we’ve created a Poke-Monster Night for you to enjoy! No sharing these tricky snacks though!“
For this months contest, the winner could receive figures of Naruto and Sasuke from Naruto, while runner-ups won a cute pokeball candy and stamp. Lucky Treat consisted of Full Metal Alchemist, Dragon Quest, AND three devil fruits from One Piece, the Gomu Gomu (Gum), Mera Mera (Flame), and Ope Ope (Operation. Also, they accidentally mislabeled as the “dark dark fruit”). I was very excited that they included the 3 belonging to 3 of my favorite characters~
Pokemon Ramune & Strange Syrup DIY
(Please see top pic for images)
For this month, we get a basic, straight-laced ramune drink. Thank goodness :P as much as I like to try new flavors, sometimes I forget the original is probably the best... especially in comparison to those yucky flavors that I’m still traumatized by <_< and this month we even get a really cute pokemon label.
Ramune is basically that “soda“ flavor you’ll see in Japanese candy. It has a sweet, sort of lemon-ish taste but its not sour. It’s a little like sprite, but in my opinion it tastes way better. It’s especially yummy whenever it’s warm out or if you worked up a thirst. It’s also really fun to open because of the marble inside!
If you have ever wanted to try out Ramune, I would suggest checking on Amazon (they have a variety of fruit flavors too), or maybe the Japan Haul website (the website made through Tokyo Treat and its various brands).
- - - - -
The DIY I just included a bonus pic of because I’ve done it several times. It’s a super-sticky, thick syrup like candy that only requires you to mix the 3 flavors, which are strawberry, soda, and lemon. Together they make grape... which looks like this:
Tumblr media
Because this candy was a little old, I think it was a bit off. The lemon and soda flavors were fine, but I noticed that not only was strawberry orange instead of pink, which might explain this... greenish-honey color. It’s usually a little purple if I recall.
Also, it didn’t really taste like grape this time, and it wasn’t as good in my opinion- but I guarantee if you open it as soon as you get it, it tastes much better. If you don’t like sticky/gooey textures you might wanna skip this one though.
Halloween Milk Senbei & Bloody Cola Marshmallow
Tumblr media
Since I subscribed like 3 years ago, I’ve only seen senbei in a box once; I was very excited to see it again! It’s stuff like this I wish they would include more of, because I want to try the unique foreign flavors you know?
Anyway, the milk senbei is a plain, very thin melt-in-your mouth cracker-like snack that pretty much tastes like ice cream cone, but a teensy bit sweeter. This one comes with a cola flavored sauce to put on top of it. Each 1 (or one pack, not sure) is around 25-27 calories.

I really like the taste of ice cream cones, I don’t know why, I just always have. Meanwhile, the jelly/sauce is purple, but it indeed tastes like cola ♥ it’s very yummy. However... together, they get a strange taste and that I’m not very fond of. I can’t even describe it, but its weird. But eating it in small doses is tolerable.
- - - - -
Speaking of cola, we also got a really cute marshmallow filled with a cola jelly! It’s like they combined two of my favorite things~
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
It’s very soft and yummy, the jelly inside tastes about the same as the sauce from the prior item, but it tastes so much better with the marshmallow.
Apple Pie Kit Kat & Brown Sugar Sweets
Tumblr media
Instead of orange kit kats this year, we get to see fun purple one :D these kit kats are inspired by an apple pie. As you can see they also come in a large pack to share with others or to eat yourself. Each pack is 65 calories.
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
I love the coloring of these, first of all. It’s such a pretty purple, and its fun too. The apple flavor is very prominent, and it has a very small hint of spice, while the wafer brings to mind a sugary crust. It’s sweet, but mildly.
- - - - - -
These are popular for their melty and soft texture, with a very thin, crisp layer of rich brown sugar coating. Each one of these is 17 calories.
♥ ♥ ♥
These are kinda basic, but it’s a yummy sweet that isn’t overly sugary. I think it goes good with the apple pie kit kat, and maybe some milk.
Disappearing Taste?! Mixed Gummies, ZomB Grape Gum, & Blue Green Soda Gum
Tumblr media
We got 3 gums this month! Our first is very familiar, because we’ve had this gum before. The only difference is this is its washed out, slightly different cousin. Basically, you’re given a set of flavors of gum, in this case yogurt, strawberry, orange, and white grape/muscat. You can eat them as is, or mix the flavors to make new ones, like a fruit drink, melon soda, or different fruits.
What makes this one special however, is that there is a special gumball that supposedly makes the flavor disappear? I mean, isn’t that what gum does normally?
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
This gum is really nice, you get a lot of them per-resealable pouch, and the flavors are always pretty good. Plus I like how the gum is smooth and soft in texture. I didn’t really notice any difference with this one from the last pack I had other than flavors.
- - - - -
Next up, we have the ZomB Gum; a popular Halloween item that we have seen before; I think about 2 or so years back, when we got the red cola vampire version. What makes this gum really fun is that it colors your tongue as you chew it, and it has a delicious grape flavor.
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
This gum has the same texture as the other gum, so I really like it. The color effect isn’t nearly as strong as the package shows, but it’s a cute little gimmick, and it tastes great. The flavor lasts about 5 minutes.
- - - -
Our last gum is another brand I’ve had before. I have had both this flavor, and their cola version. It’s pretty much the same concept as the ZomB gum (they’re made by the same brand), but its in two sticks and you get a soda flavor, and a melon flavor.
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
I’d pretty much say the same things as I did about the previous two gums. All three were delicious and I would recommend any of them.
Poteco Pumpkin Gratin & Pringles
Tumblr media
Here we have two salty, savory snacks for the box. But of course, the Poteco are not new to us, in fact I think last Halloween we got the exact same pack; minus slightly different packaging. Poteco is good and all, but I got so tired of seeing it that I tend to... shy away from it now. This flavor wasn’t really that different from the original/normal Poteco either.
- - - - -
I was a lot more excited for this item, a unique pack of Japanese Pringles :D Looking at the package, this is a type of ramen or noodle bowl flavor. It’s a mystery item in the booklet so I’m not really sure, but for this small can it is 267 calories!
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Honestly, these are so yummy that I don’t even care how many calories there are. The flavor is very strong, it tastes exactly like this cup ramen I like to buy. Trying to describe the flavor, I would say it’s sort of like beef or soy sauce broth, with a hint of a corn taste?
Pokemon Halloween Chocolate & Pikachu Gummies
Tumblr media
These are both snacks we’ve had before, so I’ll try to just gist this one.
These crispy snacks are shape like pikachu heads and come in fun, colorful packaging featuring a variety of Pokemon, while the back usually has a fun puzzle or image. Each bag is 83 calories and they are by the brand Tohato.
These are really yummy x3 they have a slightly bitter chocolate taste and remind me a lot of the coco crispy cereals.
- - - - - -
The other snack is also pikachu-shaped, but besides its head, there are also the occasional tail you might find ;3 These are by Lotte, and each pack is 90 calories. The flavor is grape and they taste really good too.
The only real thing to bother me about these is that they didn’t cut the gummy around Pikachu’s ears. It’s a minor thing but it bothers me a little.
Halloween Corn Potage Umaibo
Tumblr media
Okay, so... because I talk about this a lot, I’m not actually planning on saying anything about it this time :P long story short, corn potage Umaibo is the best.
Squid Legs & Halloween Pizza Corn Snack
Tumblr media
Don’t let the name fool you, these are not real squid legs- they just have a fishy taste. I’ve had these before too, and I have fairly complex feelings about them. On one hand they don’t taste terrible, but I don’t like seafood and the flavor is still unappealing to me. I like their crunchy texture though.
- - - - -
Next up is this corn puff snack featuring a delicious pizza flavor! They taste exactly like the pizza-flavored combos, if you never had those before I would recommend them too~
Pokemon Cola Chewing Candy
Tumblr media
This is our final item... and now that I look at it, it kinda looks like a wafer cookie doesn’t it?
Anyway, these are sticks of chewing candy that come in various series and flavors. Before we had some grape Thomas the Tank Engine ones, and this time we get some cola Pokemon. Each wrapper usually includes a unique design, craft, or puzzle of some sort.
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ I don’t know if these are hard because they had to sit around for a while, or because that is just how they are. I don’t remember the Thomas ones being so hard, but they weren’t as thick as these. But if you suck on them for a few minutes they soften up, or you can crunch them to softness. The flavor is very yummy, I think it might be my favorite cola flavored item in the box.
♥ Cutie Ranking ♥
Content - 4.5 out of 5. Everything is very yummy, even though a fair amount of it was repetitive. I really liked it. Theme - 4 out of 5. Well, given the packaging and theme, I could say yeah they did pretty good. We had a decent amount of Pokemon items, but they could have done a little more too I think. Total Rank: 9 out of 10. I really liked this box, I just wish maybe we would have had a couple more unique items.
♥ Cutie’s Scale of Yummy ♥
(I’m sorry, but by this point I’m not really feeling well. I want to finish the review so that I can go lay down DX)

Guides
All the best Philadelphia-made gifts for anyone who cooks, eats, or drinks in your life — no shipping required.
Devoted foodies and restaurant newbies love Foobooz. Sign up now for our twice weekly newsletter.
Riverwards Produce | Facebook
If you’re anything like us, you’ve still got lots of holiday shopping to do, and you’re feeling wary about rolling the dice by getting goodies shipped from online outlets just a week before Christmas. You also love to give (and receive) food and drink as gifts — and why not? They’re practical, pleasurable, and consumable, offering a sense of place, supporting our local economy, and reducing clutter for the giftee at the same time.
So we compiled our favorite brick-and-mortar spots where you can pop in and find the perfect locally made gastronomic gifts this holiday, from butcher shops and artisan bakeries to boutique brewers and distilleries. That includes cookbooks, too — Philly is also blessed with an abundance of excellent food and drink authors whose works will enhance any collection. And contrary to popular belief, there is nothing wrong with giving gift cards — as long as they’re from a place the recipient actually likes.
Stocking Stuffers
Keepwell Vinegar | Facebook
Keepwell Vinegar These small-batch artisanal vinegars are made from local fruit and herbs by former pastry chefs in south central Pennsylvania. Whether sprinkled over salads or added to cocktails for a bracing, fruity bite, these vinegars in flavors like bitter lemon, turmeric, and aronia berry are a must for any foodie’s pantry. Find it at: Primal Supply Meats, Green Aisle Grocery, Cuttalossa, Riverwards Produce, Weaver’s Way Co-op
Spice Blends from St. Lucifer Spice This Philly-born, tangy-savory-spicy blend of garlic, salt, vinegar, and peppers is the perfect on everything from roast chicken to cheese curds to popcorn. Find it at: Fante’s, Di Bruno Bros., or (if you must) Wegmans
Pretzel Shortbread Cookies from Lost Bread Co. Nobody doesn’t like these shiny, salt-topped, sandy-textured rectangles of concentrated sweet-savory pretzel flavor — which, if our experience is any indication, will be gone before the last present is unwrapped. Find it at: Lost Bread Co., Riverwards Produce, Mariposa Co-op, or the Craft Hall pop-up
Cured Meats from Salumificio Cicala Skip the oranges and nuts this year and stuff stockings with artisanal salumi made from local, humanely raised pork by chef Joe Cicala instead. Find it at: Green Aisle Grocery, Market on 9th

Ploughman Cider | Facebook
Just about anything from Ploughman Cider A bottle from our favorite Pennsylvania cider maker will bring joy to anyone who loves delicious drinks. We personally love their tart, fizzy Kenspeckle and vinous Pinot N’Arlet (tinted pink with aronia berries and pinot noir grape skins, respectively), but we’d also be psyched to find a sixer of their dry-hopped Lupulin Lummox or a petite bottle of Distelfunk, a light, wild-fermented peach wine that will transport you back to summertime, under the Christmas tree. Find it at: Bottle Bar East, Di Bruno Bros. in Rittenhouse and the Franklin, 320 Market.
Maple whiskey from Manatawny Still Works How to improve on Manatawny’s smooth, balanced Keystone Whiskey? Age it in whiskey barrels that were just used to age Whiskey Hollow Maple’s syrup. The result, after adding a little more syrup to the blend at the end of the process, is a not-too-sweet spirit whose maple notes uplift its four-grain whiskey flavor — perfect for sipping neat around the fireplace or stirring into a hot toddy. Find it at: Their East Passyunk tasting room, their shop at 16th and JFK, or at the distillery in Pottstown.
Herbal spirits from Rowhouse Spirits Anything from Dean Browne’s petite Kensington distillery is bound to please the spirit-loving person in your life — but if he’s got their Demon Weed amaro or Bear Trap, a sipping liqueur that’s triple-infused with local herbs from Greensgrow Farms, be sure to grab one of those. Find it at: Their Frankford Avenue facility or select PLCB locations.
Beer from Fermentery Form Bottles from this cult favorite brewer would be sought after even if their tasting room wasn’t only open once a week (pending occasional Instagram-announced additions to the schedule) — their funky, farmhouse-style sour beers are just that good. Get one for the beer lover in your life. Find it at: Their tasting room in Fishtown, which is only sure to be open this Saturday, December 22nd from 2 p.m. till 8 p.m. before Christmas. You can check their social media to see if they’ll be open other days before the holiday, but Saturday is the only sure bet.

Franck - Prelude, Fugue, et Variation, op.18
This piece was originally for organ, part of a series of six pieces that were meant to explore the different colors and sounds possible with new French technical innovation and organ engineering. While the music has a delicious neo-Baroque atmosphere, the prelude is especially gorgeous on piano. I can’t help but think of an English country house at the turn of the century, there’s fog outside, deer on the lawn. The prelude is built out of a melody in the shape of a wave, a melancholic mode that rises and falls through different keys, until a chordal transition brings us into the fugue built out of a long and complicated subject, though the texture is comparatively thin, slowly building to a heavy climax. The mood is still darker, somber, and then comes the variation, which is a restatement of the prelude but with more elaboration and ornamentation. Like many of Franck’s minor key works, it ends on a high note, redemption and peace.

Tumblr media
- How did you come to be a food stylist & photographer?
My path in becoming a stylist and photographer is a little unexpected. I was a metalsmith for the better part of a decade and used ancient techniques to create mythology-inspired pieces for collectors around the world. NYC was a different culture after 9/11, and ultimately I found myself faced with making too many compromises day-to-day to support my art. I decided to reframe my creativity. Having always loved food, I thought I could adapt my fine art background - a rich relationship to textures, connection to how shapes and colors relate to one another - to editorial food stories. One thing led to another, and after a lucky mentorship with some food greats I found my stride. Even though I let go of my identity as a metalsmith - which I deeply loved - I found perhaps my greatest love of all: sourcing incredible foods, cooking & styling them for editorial and ad commissions, and now, I have plans to host pop-up events and a b&b in the country, where people can come sit at my table and *eat* the food I love making.
Tumblr media
- What are your favorite types of jobs?
My favorite jobs are those where the client trusts my creative process and empowers me to create it start-to-finish. Often that means I'm writing a column as a broader narrative to accompany recipes, which correspond to the images I photograph, after cooking and styling the food and props. Despite the fact that these projects are major undertakings, I love sourcing objects to tell a certain story, and creating the platform to explore a particular type of cuisine or food. Perfect example - devoting myself to the romance of Hand Pies in the holiday issue of Sweet Paul magazine.
Tumblr media
- What is the best part of your job?
The best part of my job is creating the undeniable "Need! GET IN MY BELLY!" effect. When an audience drools, I know I've done well. The other best part is eating the creations once a shoot has wrapped, since whatever I use on set  is real food, and recipes are almost always delicious. (Thank you, awesome clients!) Another great part of my job is knowing exactly where to get unusual or amazing fresh ingredients. I've taken to stocking my pantry with many esoteric vittles and can throw a wicked party on a moment's notice.
Tumblr media
- Where do you draw inspiration from?
I'm inspired by so much! Finding people via Instagram has - of course - opened the world up. JoMarie Pitino and Evan Funke and their incredible work making handmade pasta. My wild salmon fishermen friends Driftersfish and their tireless labor in grand, pristine Alaska to bring sustainable salmon to people's tables. Scratching the tip of the iceberg in learning more about food fermentation - a true art, a way to preserve seasons, and incredible portal to health benefits in big, funky flavors. Nigel Slater's and Diana Henry 's poetic words and food. Photographer greats such as Andrea Gentl - half of the duo Gentl & Hyers - showing how beautiful the elemental can be. Love the food Steve Pearce styles, ever since I began. Every single thing he does makes me hungry.  I am so grateful for regular inspiration and (almost) never running out of ideas.
Tumblr media
- Sustainability is very important to you. What are some of starter tips for going green in the kitchen?
I grew up with a mom who recycled or reused almost everything (sometimes to my chagrin). Needless to say, sustainability is very important to me. To broaden your own consciousness repertoire, here are some things you can apply in your daily routine: - I reuse plastic bags that make their way into my life (they also happen to be recyclable - yay!) and try not acquiring new ones by having fabric bags on-hand to schlep groceries or tools, or whatever. - Any aromatic veg scraps left from food prep - onion & celery ends, bones, carrot peels, parsley stems, etc - go to a large ziplock bag in the freezer and get made into a lush overnight broth when it's full. I use the broth to boost flavor in cooking grains & beans, as well as for sauces or soups. The best part is this - I use a slow cooker to make it, so it's completely hands-off! And your house will smell amazing as it brews. Freeze the strained+cooled stock in ice cube trays and pull from it as you need. - Since I produce so much organic matter, at the beginning of the year we decided to try a vermicompost setup in our apartment. Turns out to be pretty fascinating stuff, and the result is incredibly nutrient dense compost. If you have container garden aspirations (I'm now gardening in a bigger way - we just bought a house upstate!) this fertilizer will make your basil and tomatoes go bonkers. If that's further step than you're ready to tread, check out your local neighborhood community garden and bring your scraps there.  - Whenever shopping these days, I try to buy products with the least amount of packaging. That stuff just gets tossed! Now that I have seen where much of that packaging goes, I can't unsee it, and I don't want to contribute to it any further.

- Ideally, where would you like your career to be in ten years?
In ten years, I see myself having written another book with vibrant, drool-worthy pictures, highlighting what it means to eat well every day. I also see leading workshops on cooking since food is the center of everything - bringing new & punchy foods into people's repertoires, and hosting people at our dreamy upstate getaway.
