Craig of the creek is the most wholesome story with unreliable narrators ever. Like they’ll have that shot of raj’s grandma doing the most insane jump while on her wheel chair and then cut a to very tame version of it. Like there just a bunch of nerdy kids I love them

Okay the CotC fandom is probably gonna skin me alive for this one but idc

Shawn is kind of a one dimensional character. It really feels like his only purpose is to be Raj’s boyfriend. Don’t get me wrong, they’re adorable together and I love the queer rep, but the only time we really see Shawn at all is in episodes that Raj is also in. While Raj is getting more and more fleshed out into his own person, separate from being a Honeysuckle Ranger, Shawn has barely changed since the episode Sugar Smugglers. Once the Candy Bar was started up, he just kind of faded into the background. Compared to the characterization of other side characters, some of whom only seem to exist for one episode, this is just generally really sucky. There are many ways the writers could go about fleshing out Shawn’s character, and I hope we get that somewhere in season 4.

Craig of the creek, 4 years later.

Wow ok where do I start with my ramble uh...so idk if this will make any sense but I consider my fanarts to be little love letters to whatever series I enjoy to show my appreciation. And this illustration is a bigger love letter than usual. I absolutely adore cotc with all my heart and i wanted to take the original illustration this was based off of and do a fun little twist to it. Not as good as the og illustration but I had fun with it none the less.

The og illustration had the characters looking forward, as a way to introduce you into the world of cotc but I figured if this was 4 years later, we would already know them well enough that I could be looser with the rules and have them interact with each other instead. I changed some people around as new characters were introduced that I thought would be fun to add in.

So um yea lol, thanks for enjoying my fanarts and stuff that I've been drawing and thanks to the cotc crew for creating this show that is near and dear to my heart. Can't wait to see more!❤️
