Sorry this took two weeks to respond to, school makes me work on my own time:

BOY OH BOY IM SO EXCITED TO TALK ABOUT MY OCS

So right now I have two main series that I'm working on, and one manuscript for a different series that is finished and going through editing.

Two main series are called Makings of Magic--previously the "Alexis" series--and Crystal Kingdom. The manuscript I have finished is the first book in my Save the Princess (STP) duology. It was my nano project for 2020 (and I won nano!! which was nice). Most of these have tags: tmom or the makings of magic and stp1 or stp, idr if ive posted much about ck before

The Makings of Magic

This is a whole ass world, nine book + companions series that I've been working on since I was 10. I could literally be here all day explaining who all the characters are, but I'll just go for the main gang and a summary:

Summary: Fantasy minor professional jock Alic gets kidnapped by baddies because they think she has a secret magic that they want to use their evil ways to un-secret. She does not have any of this magic. She ends up being the center of a secret-magic conspiracy and eventually is freed and decides to go after the people who kidnapped her, with another guy they kidnapped, and accidentally creates an international incident and starts a war while the conspiracy-nuts continue to try and prove that they're right by attacking people Alic knows.

Alic:

Alic is the mc of the series. She's very silly, and very brave. She's one of those people who will do anything on a dare. You cannot scare you, you cannot phase her, you cannot make her uncomfortable. She never lies because she doesn't see the point of it. She isn't afraid of anything. Light of my life. Not very smart <3

Gray:

Gray is the local prince, and Alic's best friend. They're basically QPR partners. He spends most of his time changing his personality so that people will like him (and thereby listen to him) but really he's very petty and a little neurotic and when combined with Alic willing to do very dumb things, because with Alic, Gray doesn't have to pretend to be put-together, and they love each other a lot and get into loads of trouble <3

Topaz:

Topaz is the manager of Alic's fantasy jock team. He's very suspicious of other people, and very good at spying on others. Alic (and by extension, Gray) decide he is their friend and he gets dragged into their crazy adventures. He leaves for three chapters in book three and they accidentally commit war crimes.

Jacian:

Jacian is a prince and scholar of magic from a nearby kingdom and he is blackmailed into helping the conspiracy-nuts essentially torture Alic until they figure out what magic she has. He and his gang of do-gooders end up freeing Alic, but in the process the conspiracy-nuts kill his father and give Jacian memory loss and brain damage and he sets out to try and figure out what he has forgotten: which is who killed his father and who the Big Bad is. This is a majority of the plot in books three and four as well as his side companion book. He's kinda wishy washy and nerdy which Alic thinks is cute.

Crystal Kingdom

Summary: This is my Princess and the Pea retelling. I'm not going to go too much into the plot here because hehe i like it being a surprise.

Zira: Zira is a paranoid, neurotic prince of a city-state that is constantly under attack (hence the paranoia and neurosis). He's also mean and bitchy and very petty, and doesn't trust Leihari, the supposed nearby Princess who supposedly lost her family and her country after a usurper supposedly kicked her family out. What sucks is that he may also be falling in love with her.

Leihari: Leihari is (supposedly) a princess from a far away city-state who has lost her crown and is staying with Zira and his family. In return for their kindness, she is helping them out with matters of state and other things a princess is supposed to do. She's kind, and a little sad, but trying to make the best of her new situation. It would be much easier of the prince stopped being mean to her. What's really frustrating is that he's wonderful to everyone else--it's just that he's paranoid. But seeing what he is like when he is nice to others makes her yearn to earn his trust, and maybe she starts falling in love with him too. Supposedly. But in the meantime, she isn't going to take any of his shit.

STP

Summary: My nano baby! This is a Princess and the Pauper retelling with dragons!! It's very exciting and i love it a lot :) Takes place in a historical alternate universe (with dragons) in about 500 BCE, in Ancient Israel because I'm Jewish and I thought why the hell not.

Adina: The Princess. Adina was meant to be married off to the highest bidder as any good princess of the time will, until her older brother was killed and she became next in line to the throne. Realizing that she knew nothing about her own people--after all, she's been expecting to be married off--she decides to switch places with someone who looks exactly like her. And everything is fine until the dragons attack.

Adina is quiet and generally second-best, and scared of the unknown and not meant for adventure, but she has a responsibility to go after the dragon that attacked her people, so off she goes. She's even shocked herself by how brave she's trying to be.

Dekeli: The Extortionist. A cloth merchant who works for dragons and was doing fine until everyone in the known world came out trying to kill a bunch of them. Now he has to get his latest job finished, and the easiest way for him to do that is by extorting Adina's secrets. Ironically, he's the person she can trust the most. Probably.

He's snarky and rude and very good at what he does. Adventure finds him, and he goes with a flair and a quip. It gets on Adina's nerves.

Mara: The Pauper. She's meek and smart and that's all Adina needs from her, so that's good. Right? Nothing more needs to be said, right? She has no ulterior motives--why would she?... right?

i hope i'm not annoying you or something but i saw you really liked my art of mirrorwave so i guess i'm gonna submit her too,,

okay so! mirrorwave! (CW for lots of military stuff and violence and sad things)

(born Ayna lar Dalgasi, her name is a play on words with the turkish "aynalar dalgası" which literally means "mirrors wave")

known as a resistance fighter during the reign of Queen Amorea and later a royal guard under King Alcohol B. Genesis (yes that's his name dont ask), Ayna is probably one of the most widely known military figures in her home dimension of Cyberverse. A universe that's home to a singular species, the cyber humans, who are known for not really having any kind of a government or any rules or laws except for a king or queen who is usually pretty incompetent and relies on their guards to keep peace in the kingdom. it's much more silly than my main setting, but also has some serious elements baked into it, especially the lore. you'll see what i mean.

Ayna was born in the Tue-Tue region of cyberverse, a tropical zone that's very excluded from all the troubles going on outside. Tue-Tuians are known for their relaxed attitude and their peaceful, positive view on life, which is why it's even more surprising that two of the most powerful fighters and currently the only living royal guards of king genesis are from here. When she was 19, a war broke out between several groups of cyber people, and being a naturally courageous person who's always one to help others no matter what, she decided to do what she saw as right, teaching herself how to fight with various weapons to defend her people. Together with her childhood friend Malachite, born Keith Orlando, she successfully kept the conflicts out of their homeland for a long time,

until she didn't.

it's all very blurred in her memory, of course partly because mystery is cool but also because i'm too lazy to write lots of lore, but the basics is, ayna was kidnapped by an opposing group of fighters wanting to get secret information from her about where they could attack the people from best and things like that. over the course of days, they continuously hurt her more, trying to get her to speak, but failing every time. in the next months, Ayna was held in a sort of basement, chained to the wall, basically worthless to them at this point, so they decided to hurt her even more, intending to kill her rather quickly. but that never happened. as they continued to cut deep wounds into her body, she stayed alive for all of it, however at some point, her face was so badly destroyed that she lost her eyes, and with the limited connection to the outside world, Ayna was practically all alone, not even being able to see anyone who would come into the room she was in. this however turned out to be important because after months of this physical and mental torture, Ayna's companion and friend for life, Malachite, after finding out she was probably still alive, came to rescue her from this place, however; while she was still alive, her wounds were so bad that big parts of her body were completely destroyed, including her arms and legs, aswell as parts of her face like her lower jaw and her eyes. now, this is a scifi-fantasy setting, but even here they dont have some kind of magical healing spells so this still meant she wasn't able to fight or do much at all for a long while. during this time, she was cared for by a polygonian nurse, Diana Karelliova (aka "farewell to the fairground") who she is also married to now but that's a story for another day. Diana herself was once wounded in battle, losing her lower legs, which she replaced with a pair of robotic legs intended for a horse, decorated with shimmering blue crystal which she carved herself for this purpose. Diana's use of these prosthetic legs was the reason why after many months of suffering and robotic horses Ayna got prosthetics of her own, made by the same person who had made the original horse legs. however, they're attached to a sort of exoskeleton, attached to her waist and shoulders for support since not much of her limbs was still intact, unlike in Diana's case. After Ayna finally returned to a somewhat normal life, cyberverse's queen Amorea, who was originally the reason for conflict under the people, was killed, leading to this long period of war and people being horribly mutilated being over, for now. The new king, genesis, was surprisingly satisfying for most. he was a fan of what Ayna and Keith had done for the people, and just up and made them into his personal guards. uhhhh yea

Very gruesome, Mirrorwave probably has trauma from the torture which would definitely explain the gaps in her memory. Lots of people experience traumatic memory loss which can extend to things even before the event happened, so it makes sense to me. This might not be why she has memory problems but it's a suggestion

Are the humans cyber beyond being able to have cybernetic prostethics? Or are they living in a digital world altogether? The technology seems to be advanced but otherwise I'm not sure what is meant by "cyber humans"

The governmental bodies of this world do sound utterly incompetent so no wonder there's been a big horrible war. I suspect unless they heavily update the systems in their society, they'll likely have lots more war and crime to look forward to, despite the decent king right now

Good on Mirrorwave for making it through all that, much respect to Diana especially for making the prostethics! Of course cybernetic additions would require maintenance I assume so it's a good thing we have their maker on hand lol. I assume her eyes and jaw were also repaired cybernetically? Although they don't look like it as much but that's probably thanks to advanced technology/medical care. I wonder what the glasses are for, tho, if her eyes were destroyed during the torture. Wouldn't fixing them through technology negate the need for glasses altogether?

The character design looks really snazzy! I like the bright colored outfit and bombastic hair, it's definitely suited for a funky scifi adventure but for being something you called "Much more silly" as a setting, it's definitely really grim. I would suggest having it be comedy horror but I wouldn't joke about or make light of stuff like war and mutilation

Clark shows Selene and Aster his parents hologram message

Author’s note: In my fantasy about SM/WW, their children are 12 years apart, being Selene the eldest. This makes sense given the family incredible long life span. In only a century the difference will be insignificant, and the parents will still be able to procreate, so they are not in any rush to have all the children in a short period of time. This also makes difficult for the parents to organize activities the children could perform together in their early years, specially those of educational nature. Please take note when Aster goes through an educational moment or first experience, Selene most probably had it twelve years ago.

Clark (entering the Control Room of the Fortress with 9 years old Aster): Here we are: this is the heart of the Fortress. You can access every part of the complex from here.

“Until today, you couldn’t use this place because it only responds to commands in Kryptonese, written or verbal. Aunts Karen and Kari told me you past the last exam yesterday, and your pronunciation and writing are flawless, so here is your reward: you’ll learn the secrets of this little piece of Krypton on Earth and the history of my planet of origin, which is also half of yours and your sister’s origin too.

Aster: Why did the aunties have to teach me. Couldn’t you?

Clark: I could, but they are the better teachers, because both lived on Krypton until they were 14 years old. They actually spoke Kryptonese on Krypton, they’ve learned it in school. It was their native language. In fact, They were the ones who corrected my Kryptonese. I studied it here, at the Fortress since I was 16 and I thought I’ve nailed it, but to hear it from someone who spoke it on a daily basis, day after day, is very different.

Aster: Is was like...say...going to France and hear French people talk?

Clark: Pretty much. The first was aunt Kari. She was very strict as a teacher. 

Aster: I know. Believe me.

Clark: She kept calling me “baby cousin”.  

Aster: Why?

Clark: Because the last time she saw me on Krypton, I was a baby. She said I spoke it with a heavy Kansas accent, and that’s why the central computer had problems understanding my verbal commands. It seems they didn’t have a Kansas on Krypton.

Aster: And Mom? How did she learn?

Clark: Aunt Karen came to this Earth five years later than Kari, and she was seven years older than her, already. She became your mother’s BFF and when she discovered Mom and me were dating, she insisted on her learning the language. She didn’t tell her why, Diana found out here, at the fortress.

“Your Mom has a natural predisposition to learn other languages, she speaks Kryptonese better than I myself. I believe it has to do with her empathy gift, which allows her to speak with members of the animal kingdom.

“She taught me ancient Greek, She said: “If I’ve learnt your dead tongue, you’ll learn mine.” Although that’s not entirely truth: it’s the language spoken on Themyscira, so it’s still in use. That’s why she insisted on you two speaking it as well. The day little Lena talked to Grandmamá in her own tongue, she almost faded.

“Now, Ast, this is the crystal switchboard. The green one in the center is the one who allows the others to work. It can’t be removed or the whole computer won’t work. It also has the capacity to recreate this Fortress in case something bad happens. I had to replicate it and hide those copies around the World for the same reason.

“The computer has many functions, but today we’ll focus on the archives of Krypton: its culture, its history, etc.

“There’s so much information, that it will probably take you 12 years to go through all its content.Your sis is almost ending her journey , and I brought her here when she was your age. (Clark switched a screen on) There she is now, in the projection room, still studying.

“When you feel comfortable operating the switchboard and learn its commands, you’ll be capable of accessing the info from every part of the Fortress.

Aster: Any part? Like my bedroom?

Clark: Yes, like your bedroom. Here (Clark gave his son a transparent tablet) this is your terminal. From here you control almost every app of the Fortress.

Aster: Almost?

Clark: Yes. there are a few you can only access from the crystal switchboard. Mostly those which have to do with the autonomous systems, like energy managing, repairs, ventilation, etc. Your terminal will warn you if something is not right, but you can only modify or repair it from here.

Aster: I see.

Clark: Good. Now, we begin your journey. You will have two very special guests to guide you: Jor-El and Lara, my biological parents. These are interactive A.I., they will answer all your questions and walk you through every procedure. There are holo-projector all around the Fortress. Once Jor and Lara greet you, your biosignature will be stored in the main frame, so the computer will recognize you.

(Clark pushes one crystal down its tube) Your journey, like mine, beguins with these words (a life like figure of Jor-El appeared on the main holographic projector):

Newbie (Frozen 2 x ?)

Spoilers for Frozen 2.

Elsa blinked as a raccoon is extravagant orange, blue, and pink livery appeared out of thin air beside her.

“Uh…”

The raccoon struck a most regal and impressive pose before summoning an exquisitely bound roll of parchment and offering it to her.

“For me?” Elsa asked. Honestly, ever since abdicating from the throne and taking up her current position as a guard of sorts for the spirits, this was still the strangest thing she’d seen all week. 

The raccoon stared at her for a long moment and then rolled his eyes as if it to ask who else the parchment would be for.

“Okay…” Elsa took the parchment and unwrapped it careful. The writing within was seemingly wrought of living lightning, a radiant, ethereal brilliance that crackled with barely constrained power. “Uh…” She tilted her head to one side. “I can’t read this.” The writing on the parchment was certainly impressive… but it was also in a completely foreign language.

The raccoon stared at her again and then held up one paw to ask for patience before turning and beginning to mutter and growl into what appeared to be the end of a trumpet that he had, once again, pulled out of thin air. Apparently it could also be used to communicate because she could hear noises coming from inside the instrument. Finally, the raccoon cleared his throat and then pointed up at the sky.

“What are you pointing at?” Elsa asked.

As if in answer to her question, dark clouds began to gather above her. Lightning crackled from horizon to horizon, and a sharp, biting gale kicked up. Elsa reached out with her powers to calm the storm only to realise that she couldn’t affect it. Eyes wide, she looked back at the raccoon.

“What’s going on?”

The raccoon just gave her a happy smile and then gestured for her to take a step to her right. Elsa did.

And a glowing spear wrought of crystal and lightning thundered down from the heavens to strike the ground. A blinding flash of light forced her to cover her eyes.

Elsa stumbled back awkwardly and then fell silent as the light cleared and she could see again. A tall, pink-haired woman in crystalline armour stood before her with eyes like polished emeralds. There was an inhuman perfection about her, something in the way she held herself and in the way her features fit together that was at once terrifying and awe-inspiring. The air crackled with power, so much more than Elsa had ever felt, and for the first time since she’d accepted her powers, she felt small and almost insignificant.

Goddess.

The word rang through her soul. If spirits could exist, then gods could exist as well. And her instincts told her that this woman before her was a goddess. After all, what else could she be?

With an almost casual gesture, the goddess yanked the spear out of the ground and slung it over her shoulder. Glancing down, Elsa was shocked to see that the ground beneath them had been melted into glass. The raccoon looked at the goddess and then waved happily before pointing at Elsa and making more noises.

“I see.” The goddess’s voice was stern without being cruel. “It is not surprising that she does not know our ways. She is, after all, very new to all of this.” The goddess’s emerald gaze turned to Elsa. “Elsa of Arendelle, you are a newly ascended goddess. Such a thing has not happened in many mortal centuries. However, there are rules that must be followed, laws that bind even the gods. To avoid any unnecessary… unpleasantness, I would suggest learning these laws as soon as possible.”

“Oh.” Elsa wished Anna were here. This kind of craziness was something her sister excelled in handling. “Uh…”

The goddess’s gaze softened ever so slightly. “Hmm… you really have no idea, do you?” Her lips twitched. “In that case, I shall introduce myself.” The goddess brought her spear down and once more drove its tip into the earth. Above them, the storm howled in response. “I am Averia, and I am one of the gods tasked with enforcing divine law. Due to your…inexperience in our ways, it falls to the gods to guide and teach you, lest your inexperience wreak havoc on the mortal world.”

Elsa winced. Her inexperience had already wreaked havoc at least once.

Averia must have either read her mind or guessed what she was thinking. “Believe me, there were those amongst us who wished to strike you down when you lost control of your powers and almost froze Arendelle. However, the decision was made to leave you be to give you a chance to ascend. But now that you have ascended, you must be educated.” Averia pointed the spear at Elsa. “And I will be the one to handle you education.” She paused. “And Robert will be helping too.”

“Robert?”

“The raccoon.” Averia paused. “Rest assured he is no mere raccoon. He is a divine raccoon who has served my sister for centuries. Once you learn to understand the speech of animals, you will find him to be both wise and obnoxious.”

“And how do I learn to understand animals?”

“That will be your second lesson.”

“What will be my first?”

Averia smiled thinly. “This.” And with that she lunged forward, the spear blurring into motion. “Show me what your powers are capable of.”

Author’s Notes

Well, at least Frozen!Elsa finally gets an Averia. With Elsa basically becoming a goddess, she’s bound to attract attention from the other gods. And since Averia is following in Lightning’s footsteps as an enforcer of divine law, it’s up to her to teach the newbie. As for Robert, he is one of Diana’s favoured raccoons, probably her fourth or fifth favourite (Gary, her herald, is number one).

Now, I am by no means an expert at anything Sailor Moon. I watched maybe 30 episodes of the original (undubbed) anime way back in high school out of sheer curiosity. A lot of it didn’t stick with me. So! I brought on a Sailor Moon expert to help me with this, who also happens to be one of my very best friends! Thanks for all your help, @kittykatz009! The right hands clasped in symbolic depiction of marriage and faithfulness, known in Latin as dextrarum iunctio, was frequently included on Roman wedding rings. The right hand was devoted to Fides, the deity of faithfulness, in Roman symbolism; the theme reappears in the Middle Ages as the fede ring. The betrothal ring was worn on the fourth finger of the left hand, according to ancient writings, in the idea that this finger contained a vein, the vena amoris, that flowed directly to the heart. Dreams pour from the moon and slip through my hands like memories. Diana Pagan Goddess of the Moonlight Diana is the goddess of the hunt. She transformed into a goddess of the moonlight. She is a great goddess and has been worshipped in many positive ways. She is the queen of Heaven. She is always standing up for women and their rights. She is fabled to have turned herself into a black cat and snuck into Lucifer’s chambers as he was sleeping. She then got pregnant in his bed with their daughter, Aradia who is the goddess of the witches.

The Goddess of the Moon and Endymion The goddess of the moon has a different name in each culture. Diana is a derivative of a Latin word meaning bright sky. As the Queen of Heaven she rules as Inanna. In Greek mythology she can be compared to Selene. There are legends of love in each culture between her and Endymion. He was a very beautiful mortal. She found him to be irresistible. She wanted to have him forever yet he was a mortal. She begged God to put him into an eternal sleep and he did. He sleeps eternally dreaming.

The Legend of the Vampire In Greek mythology, the legend of the vampire began with Selene and Ambrogio. Ambrogio was a handsome Italian man with a desire to travel. He wanted to visit Greece to have his fortunes told. Recorded in the scriptures of Delphi was this tale. He met Selene at the moon temple and they fell in love. Apollo, the god of the sun was also in love with Selene. He placed a curse on Ambrogio that he could not go out into the sun so that he could not go back and meet Selene at the moon temple. Ambrogio ran into a cave where Hades was dwelling. He told him he would help if he could recover the hunting bow of Artemis. He sold his soul to the devil. After many days he began writing poetry for Selene and begged Artemis for her help. She decided to help him. The lovers were finally able to meet and Ambrogio wrote her a note asking her to meet him at his ship as he was to set sail back to Italy. He was sleeping in a coffin and he told her not to open it until after the sunset because the sun would burn him. She sailed with him and they were in love together. Artemis helped Selene to become immortal by teaching Ambrogio how to drink her blood and turn her into a vampire queen. This was the beginning of vampires in Greek mythology and also the beginning of Selene as the moon goddess.

As I talk about a pagan goddess above, let me go back into time, back to 2014, in which I was inspired to write about a man-god, a half god named Hercules after watching the latest movie about Hercules.   I will call this The Legends of Hercules.

The Mythology Hercules is the legendary hero of the era of Greek and Roman mythology. He is a great force who is half mortal and half immortal. In Greek mythology he is worshipped as a God.The story of Hercules starts when Zeus and his mother meet. Her name is Alcmena. She is the daughter of a great warrior. His name is Amphitryon. His father is a king. His kingdom is Tiryns.The great goddess Hera discovered that Zeus had been with Alcmena. Out of jealousy she tried to kill Hercules as an infant- sending two snakes into his crib to kill him. Hercules killed the serpents.

Hercules married a woman named Megara. She was a daughter of a king that Hercules won the right to marry in battle. He ended up killing her and her children in a rage set in by Hera. Hercules is a hero so to him this is devastating. He needed forgiveness so he traveled to meet an oracle in Delphi. He could be forgiven if he performed 12 labors for his kingdom.

Here is the Twelve Labors of Hercules:

Slay the Nemean Lion The Nemean Lion was actually a shape shifting woman that would lure men into the rocks with her human damsel in distress tricks. Upon coming closer she turned into a lion and would eat them. Hercules destroyed her with her own sharp claw.

Slay the nine-headed Lernaean Hydra Hercules cut off the head of the Hydra with a golden sword that Athena had lent to him. Hera sent down a giant crab like monster to try to distract Hercules. Lolaus is his nephew and he fought alongside with him at this point.

Capture the Golden Hind of Artemis. The hind was very hard to capture, but Hercules did this even though it took him traveling through many countries to accomplish this.

Capture the Erymanthian Boar. Hercules has the help of a centaur to complete this task.

Clean the Augean stables in a single day. He reset the directions of two rivers to accomplish this task.

Slay the Stymphalian Birds. These are man eating birds with beaks of bronze and feathers of metal. These birds were sacred to Ares. Athena decided to help Hercules because the birds were destroying crops. She gave him a rattle made by Hephaestus.

Capture the Cretan Bull. Hercules battled this bull with his bare hands. He actually let it go free because his companion wanted to sacrifice it to Hera but Hera would not accept it.

Steal the Mares of Diomedes. Hercules kills the owner of the mares and feeds them the body which acts as a tranquilizer.

Obtain the girdle of Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons. A beautiful princess wanted a belt given to an Amazon Queen by Ares. He ended up killing the Queen because Hera interceded and made it so the Queen was paranoid instead of kind and she tried to go up against Hercules.

Obtain the cattle of the monster Geryon. Hercules captures each last cattle and has them disguise their tracks by getting them to walk backwards.

Steal the apples of the Hesperides. Hercules captures a shape shifting, Old Man of the Sea to figure out the location of this garden. Hercules agreed to hold up the world for a moment for Atlas while than shaking the fruit free.

Capture and bring back Cerberus. He learned from Eleusis how to enter and exit the underworld alive. Then he attacked it with his bare hands and dragged it up to the Earth.

After the twelve labors Hercules lived the rest of his life much the same way. He had many adventurous and the God’s were still highly interested in his acts.

The Constellation of Hercules

The constellation of Hercules is the fifth brightest constellation in the sky. The constellation is said to represent Hercules standing over the dragon that guards the entrance to the garden where the golden apple was.

Beta Herculis is the brightest star in this constellation. This constellation has fifteen stars with planets orbiting within.

The Two stars Vega and Lyra lay very close by.

Hercules – Starring Dwayne Johnson (Movie Review by Deanna Jaxine Stinson – Movie Critic)

The Hercules Movie was just released. The role of Hercules is played by Dwayne Johnson. It is based on the graphic novel Hercules: The Thracian Wars. Dwayne Johnson doesn’t wear his shirt for most all of the movie. He rarely has armor on. He is good at being intimidating.

In the movie, Hercules has companions that seem familiar to the people that he encounters in the mythologies of his twelve labors. The movie doesn’t explain the twelve labors exactly or the people that came from his past. The characters are all just there and there are no introductions.

The woman warrior in his group is an Amazon Queen so I am assuming they were trying to keep that labor alive yet they don’t explain how she began traveling with him.

His nephew is also by his side much like in the legends.

There is also a very funny oracle that travels with him. He has visions that he thinks his companions don’t take seriously yet they do because he foresees his own death at one point but is saved thanks to his friends that are listening despite their silence.

Hercules starts with the last labor. Hercules is just ready to finish his last task when he changes his mind and a new story is written and that is the movie of Hercules.

I recommend this movie because it stays true to the mythology of Hercules and continues on from that point with a new story. It is funny and intense. The monsters are beautiful to look at on the screen in the flashbacks.

It is a good movie if you know the legends well and even if you don’t. Hercules is a well-known story continued on through modern motion picture.
