Wedding Hells
Abby was happy she finally managed to convince her best friend Lindsay to not marry her fiancé James. Abby had learned that James was secretly the head of the crime family in town and was involved in every dirty deal going.
Tumblr media
As happy as Abby was, James was pissed. When Abby came over to pick up some of Lindsay’s belongings he made she sure she knew.
“Well if it isn’t the do gooder little friend who tricked my fiancé into leaving me. I hope you’re proud.” He said with venom.
“Tricked her? I told her the truth of who you really are you creep and soon I’m going to tell everyone as well. Your days not behind bars are numbered.” Abby said straight to his face expecting to see him bubble up with rage but instead he broke into a smile.
“You have a fire and strength in you I had noticed before. You’ll do just am fine as my wife instead.” He said walking over to Lindsay’s never worn dress.
“You’ve lost it now, good luck with your life, or should I say you’re 25 to life.” She said turning on her heel. However within a feel feet she felt the white fabric of the wedding dress draped over her head. Within seconds it seemed to come alive and squeeze down her body.
“What... the... hell...” Abby said trying to rip it off her but found it was too tight.
“You see Lindsay never knew about who I really was but she was going to be my second in command in my growing criminal empire. I had big expansion plans but needed someone I knew would be loyal and ruthless. That’s where this magic dress came in.” James said matter of factly as Abby continued to struggle.
The dress had started to push off her clothes and toss them aside as it enveloped her body and sealed her in. She was quickly dressed as a bride to be but that’s when the real changes began.
The dress constricted her stomach making it hard to breath for a second. However Abby soon felt her belly shrink to match the tight waist of the dress. It actually felt good.
“Oh what are you doing to me you bastard! It feels... it feels... so goooood.” She moaned as her chest heaved outward as two massive tits grew outward from her modest pair.
“You don’t think I became kingpin without the help of the dark arts do you? Soon you’ll understand. When you become the Queenpin.” James said laughing.
Abby should of been furious with him but for some reason she was more turned on then ever before. The word Queenpin making her wet everything she thought it.
“Oh fuck I hate you James you big dick fuck! Once I’m free of this I’m going to fuck your brains out! Wait noooo! I don’t want that! I neeeeed that. No this is wrong!” She said moaning again as her conflicted emotions fought each other.
“You’re right, this is wrong but doesn’t it feel so good to be bad? No more morals, no more caring what anyone thinks? Just taking what you deserve, which is everything! Embrace it Abby, embrace being a bitch!” He said, tempting her.
Abby’s body continued to change as her mind was at war with itself. Her skin took on a healthy tan, sexy makeup was applied generously to her face. Her hair became thick, long and luxurious.
If there hadn’t been a mirror nearby that day, she might have saved her soul. As her eyes made contact with her reflection she found herself drawn into the cold, permanent bitch faced, goddess that was staring back. James was right, she thought, why should she not have everything she ever wanted? A beauty like her deserved the world and if wasn’t going to be given it she would need to take it.
As the good parts of her psyche were replaced by her new meaner, more cutthroat persona her struggling ceased. Her posture straighten into a classical pose and all resistance faded. Her lips curled into a wicked smile as she eyed James not with disgust any longer but with desire.
Tumblr media
“Abby? That’s such a childish name. It’s Abigail from now on. Do I look like some immature child?” She said arching herself against a wall so she could shove out her butt. James mouth was agape.
“Sweetheart you’ll catch flies looking like that, how about you come over here and use it on more expensive tastes?” She said with a purr dripping in lust. James didn’t waste any time as he quickly grabbed her and kissed her deeply. Abigail moaned softly as he did, loving how he tasted. Lindsay had always said he was a good lover and now she was about to find out.
Removing the dress, Abigail found herself in some sexy white lingerie, a by product of the magic dress. She pushed James onto the nearby bed and posed sexily for him.
Tumblr media
“When we fuck darling, I don’t want to hear Abby, or Abigail come from that mouth of yours. I want to hear only Queenpin, understand?” Abigail said authoritatively, making James get harder.
“Of course… Queenpin.” Her growled making her as wet as he was hard. Strutting over to him she took out his impressive cock and lowered her tight pussy on top.
“Mmmm a perfect fit… Kingpin.” She purred as she started to rise up and down.
The next few hours were a blur of sexual juices, screaming and grunting. By the time they were done Abigail had forgotten ever being Abby. In her mind she had always been Abigail, a tough and brutal but also outrageously beautiful crime boss.
James had planned on telling his men to fall in line and treat her like a boss too but she slipped into the role so easily that they were too scared to disobey her. Within a week she had doubled James’ profits with her ruthless ways. While James was a perfectly cruel and calculating leader, Abigail was literally created to be bad. She was the model of evil.
However not everyone was as impressed as James, namely his ex-fiancée and Abby’s old best friend, Lindsay. She confronted Abigail one day on the street and pleaded with her to tell her what had been done to her but Abigail just looked at her coldly.
Tumblr media
“Do I know you? Regardless no one speaks to me like that, I am Queenpin of this city and I could have you disappeared like that.” She said snapping her fingers. When she did, her two burly bodyguards seized Lindsay and threw her into the trunk of Abigail’s luxury tow car.
Sliding in Abigail smirked as she heard the muffled banging of Lindsay.
“It’s no use dear, even if anyone heard you they’re all too afraid to say anything. You don’t have that fear but you will soon. Once I break you you’ll be employed indefinitely as my new live in maid and sex slave. You’re exactly what I need to help me prepare for my upcoming wedding.” Abigail said callously as she put on her designer sunglasses and her driver headed towards her mansion.

ORV WESTERN AU MASTERPOST
ill be coming back and editing this as i come up with more ideas/modify pre-existing ones
LORE BELOW
SETTING:
Generic cowboy/western movie city Stella River has been plagued by a violent gang war between two main factions and several subsets for nearly 40 years. One side headed by the owner of a massive coal mine near the town is mostly made up of gentlemen bandits and Robin Hood types--criminals with honor (so they say). The other is run by an oil baron, and is composed of more seedy, ruthless types. Stella River is soon to have a railway line constructed running through the town, and the two factions are fighting to see who gets control of it first.
CHARACTER ROLES:
Han Sooyoung: Stella River’s sheriff. She seems to have been bought out by the less reputable of the two factions and tends to maintain the facade so as to keep her true intentions under the radar. Faked Kim Dokja’s death for him and is gathering players to prepare to completely wipe Stella River clean of both sides of the war. She gets most of her information from Kim Dokja and Yoo Sangah, but a mysterious benefactor has also been leaving her tips...
Kim Dokja: a gunslinger going by the name ‘the Lone Star’. He doesn’t seem to be taking an active side in any of the fighting but still maintains amicable relationships with the majority of each groups members. A former employee of (han myungoh’s saloon), he owed a great debt to the owner until Stella River’s sheriff helped fake his death and brought him on to work with her as a spy running for both sides. He’s probably lost count of how many times over a double agent he is but it’s at least five.
Yoo Joonghyuk: a marshal called in by the mayor to help clean up the town. Born and raised out on the East Coast, he comes from a wealthy upper-class family, real socialite types, who he left behind after his engagement to fellow socialite Lee Seolhwa fell through. He began working as a deputy in a small town and quickly worked his way up the ranks and is now called in only for lost cause type places.
Yoo Sangah: a vaudeville performer at (han myungoh's saloon). She used to have an act with Kim Dokja before he faked his death. Another runaway socialite. Feeds information she receives or overhears from the saloon's patrons to Han Sooyoung directly or through Kim Dokja.
Lee Hyunsung: one of Stella River's deputies. He's not entirely clear on what Han Sooyoung is doing, but he knows Kim Dokja and trusts him implicitly, so he's pretty alright with doing whatever the two of them need him to do. Plays the role of naive do-gooder most of the time, but can be frighteningly capable under direction.
Jung Heewon: a rancher living just outside the city's limits. Before faking his death, Kim Dokja once helped her fend off (read: warned her and attempted to look menacing) a small team of bandits attacking her home. She begrudgingly begins working with Han Sooyoung et co when she discovers that the company she sold her products to was working with Eden.
Lee Gilyoung: an orphaned boy working in the coal mines. He begins following Kim Dokja after he helps clean him up after getting in a fight with some of the older boys at the mine. A remarkably good shot, and prone to attempting to defend Kim Dokja from any and everyone he deems a threat.
Shin Yoosung: a girl orphaned due to a hostage situation orchestrated by one of the warring factions. Kim Dokja saves her while still under his original name, and she is one of the first (and only people) to put together that he and the Lone Star are the same person.
Lee Jihye: an intern of sorts sent to check on Yoo Joonghyuk. Also raised on the East Coast and another runaway from a more uptight family. Has the tendency to follow Yoo Joonghyuk like a baby duckling. She's brought officially onto the team working under Han Sooyoung as another deputy.
Biyoo: Kim Dokja’s daughter. It's unclear who exactly her other parent is but she's often seen with and has connections to Bihyung. She ferries Kim Dokja information from the mayor's office and often shows up to bail him out of whatever scrape he's landed himself in.
Lee Seolhwa: Stella River’s most capable doctor. A former socialite from the East Coast who, after an engagement with Yoo Joonghyuk fell through, was disowned from her family. She moved to Stella River about three years before Yoo Joonghyuk’s arrival and built a reputation for serving any patient appearing at her doorstep and negotiating payment later.
Uriel: an heiress to the Eden family fortune and owner of a general store in Stella River. She becomes aware of much of her family’s involvement with Stella River’s corruption early on and blatantly begins supporting Kim Dokja under his alter ego. She's responsible for much of the gossip and sort of propaganda surrounding the Lone Star.
Bihyung: undersecretary to the mayor. Nebulously connected to Biyoo and by extension Kim Dokja. Passes information he gathers off to Biyoo and then pretends he doesn’t know what she does with it. Begrudgingly works with Han Sooyoung in hopes of running for mayor properly once she cleans out the town.
Anna Croft: owner of a nearby coal mine. Has control over several of Stella River’s small businesses and much of the trade/commerce coming to the city. Has nebulous ties to the mayor’s office but the nature of which is unclear. A member of Yoo Joonghyuk/Lee Seolhwa’s socialite circle but retained those connections.
(will add more characters as i put together their roles)
GENERAL MISC BITS:
kdj almost runs over yjh when the latter first arrives in town
(as has been est by the first mini comic) kdj gifts yjh a pocket watch that a la dark castle arc, is left by kdjs hospital bed after it stops a bullet that wouldve killed yjh
kdj fakes his death twice; once as kdj and once as the lone star. this number is not set in stone
the faking of his death as lone star runs much like the star wars clone wars rako hardeen arc
for the unaware: ITS REAL BAD
as @solcarow said. train car uncoupling scene. Oh My God
there is a cigarette lighting scene (yall know the one) with kdj and hsy
kdj makes his own outfit (hsy provides the material). everything is a little too big in the hopes that he’ll put on some muscle and grow into it (he does not)
kdj cannot shoot a gun. half his hits have been incidental and/or the result of rube-goldberg type contraptions
there is a chase scene involving a handcart piloted by hsy and yjh
yjh is somehow capable of every stupid gun trick seen in a western movie
the gun spinny is his happy stim a la sword dragging
lgy has crawled under tables and tied yjhs shoelaces together on multiple occasions
hsy and yjh have a full screaming match when kdj fakes his death the second time that ends with both of them shot (non fatally)
anna croft kidnaps biyoo and kdj goes full liam neeson taken on her ass. my guy confronts her in a traincar and shoots her in the kneecap
he also kills selena kim! just shoots her in the head when croft refuses to tell him where biyoo is
kdj fakes his death (at the time of writing) minimum 3 times, not including all the times people just think hes dead because of general Scheme Shenanigans
third time is the kicker! boy does it suck
im not adding too much here because i do have actual scenes i want to write/draw but! thats what ive got off the top of my head
massive shoutout to @bidokja for contributing at least half the Lore in this au ilysm

Reborn from oblivion
somewhere in mexico.
Aldira enters the small hut, after a group of mexican heroes exposd their operations, the drug lord who Aldiras uncle had been advising was forced to flee, so he chose a small hut while he prepared to flee to another country.
"Ah, Aldira! my favourite nephew! I saw what you did on TV! great plan, make the public think you've gone good so you can rebuild your empi-"
he collapsed, struggling to remain conscious as he struggled to force the oxygenated blood into his brain. he was always the weaker one compared to her dad, and Aldira knew that the alcohol always made his powers even weaker.
"it's not a ploy uncle, now stay here while the police arrive."
before he could respond, the lack of oxygen caused him to pass out, only then did she stop restricting the blood, brain damage would make prosecution harder.
Aldira walked out, going past the group of heroes and police officers, and then flying off too her next target.
Italy
Aldiras aunt didn't have powers, but she was the families equivalent of a spy master, she had the entirety of the Italian police around her finger, and knew enough secrets to topple governments.
she lived in a giant Villa packed with guards, but that doesn't matter when your opponent can sever your arteries from the other side of the country. but Aldira was trying to prove she was a hero, so she had to do it the "hard" way, as in she flied in because the Villa had no Anti air, crashed through her skylight mid banquet, demanded their grandparents location, outed her as a criminal, and flew off.
New york, new york city
Aldira had been fighting her grandparents for an hour now, the two were just as fast if not faster than her, and just as skilled with blood control.
their blood rain took most of her attention, having too put that much focus on keeping civilians from being torn to shreds, and fighting two people at once was near impossible like this.
"what's the matter? thought you were the prodigy" her grandmother yelled, laughing like a maniac
"did becoming a do-gooder turn you into a softie? fight back you weakling!" continued her grandfather
it pissed her off, they had no right to talk like that, they were splitting her focus between defending herself and protecting the civilians, she didn't have time to attack them.
wait, that's it, if she has to do all that, why not just do it all at the same time?
"your right, I am the prodigy, now fall." she spoke, almost devoid of emotion as she reached to outstretched hands out to her sides.
"wha-" her grandfather was interrupted as the blood spear he was about to throw turned around and slammed into him, the sharpened blood rain flying through the air, all of it focusing on the two elderly villains.
"I am aldira, I was the bloody queen, but now I have been reborn from oblivion, and my new purpose is to stop criminals like you!" she yelled as her grandparents control of the fight rapidly diminished.
"bloody sacrilege! regicide blade!" Aldira yelled as all her arteries burst, and the blood flooded into a huge blade of pure blood, and she raised her hand above her head.
her grandparents attempted to turn the blood around them into shields to protect themselves, it would not work.
"fall" Aldira pulled her hand down, and the blade followed suit, cutting through her grandparents hastily put together shields and sending them careening into a wall, the impact knocking them out.
A day later, on the news
"good morning! today we can happily report that the notorious international crime family, the bloody lords, has been taken down in a series of arrests on their top lieutenants, and even the elderly couple who ran the operation. as many would know, all of this is due to the ex-member and originally the grand daughter of the family heads, Aldira. the ex-crime lord who has recently announced her intent to repent for the years of criminal action her family has committed by becoming a hero. while many are quite unsure of the sincerity of her actions, many more agree that her recent actions show that she has earned both her freedom, and the publics trust"

saw across the spider verse finally and this is my first post of many to excise this conflict the movies of miles have left in me since the very first one:
the copaganda wasn't subtle the first time neither was it this time but it did surprise me that gwenvs dad implied he quit like telling us that maybe his morals cannot come from abiding a code he doesn't have a say in? and i think they planted the seeds with hobie too, like there's even the scenes that try to justify the cops existing in a spider story as staples of his myth, those things felt more like that, justification for still talking about them in relation to heroism, because honest to god the movie doesn't seem able to come up with examples of cops helping lmfao, did they even notice? like did the writers notice? but honestly with both hobie and that line from gwen's dad i had a glimmer of hope
but that keeps falling short when i have to look at jefferson, like in the comics his stints with the law are more a contract to his desire to be good to the people he loves, like a tool almost, the fact that the movies went a step further to make him loyal to it is profoundly disgusting specially when i look at how rio who was supposed to be the one most heroic to miles, a nurse, was reduced in favor of raising jefferson the cop to stardom, like fuck, that has always felt so superficial and trite for a spider man myth, but it used to be that the conflict was because it put into question the morality from the law as something incomplete and rigid and ultimately useless against the threats the heroes come against, which are representative of the society the heroes and all their ills are meant to embody
heroism is what these cops are meant to represent for the writers and animators like that's the issue, that's why we fuckers of color complain, because today right now, people and cops and professionals and people with power keep pretending that cops can be called heroes, that they can take up the mantle of one of the most precious parts of society which is communicating the morals of a time as if they could be the only ones that could in their hands the understanding of the myth of good and evil in the time they inhabit, but it's all a lie like are people this blind to themselves, they're just human, they're just fucking people like us, they can't hold nothing for shit because they're also people who have been told to use power as their life and truth, a hero is so many fucking things but he who holds all truths, he's not, often the hero shows us the journey to be able to inhabit, create, mold and be those truths, but also that we could inhabit the lies so easily, if the hero falls so do the people so does the nation, and cops want to be entrusted with that story but they don't see it, they don't that they're not asking like people or heroes but like gods like myths, and it's crazy that this world wants to keep pretending that when someone says they are a cop, as if they truly were it, they're but playing mockeries of human beings, because all they do is enforce power they do not understand, and just because this movie managed once again to try to put the cops against the spider scenes people are eating it? when the text it self could only give us good actions of the cops in relations to their kids and families? when the writers comfortably ignored the social impact of the story of spider this time around in favor of the personal conflict which ended up falling short for me and other fuckers of color because of how many fucking times they couldn't stay away from implying cops are just good people and not the bunch of fucking criminals the state has sanctioned as executors of its will specially against black and brown kids in the us like you have got to be disconnected from reality to be able to ignore all that frfrfrfr
it's just not the story of our times you know? that cops are do gooders... they can't literally be, they're meant to embody power, and power is just power too, it all depends on who wields it, which tells you what being a cop really is, and ofc the military and other things that have to defer to command to call themselves functional, they're naught but tools, extensions of the state, when it comes to exercising power in today's society is all about functionality and quality and maintaining a machine, and thus we got eugenics and racism and discrimination so that people can form themselves into tools to enforce systems of oppression to others so that wr can become, we call this all morality and capitalism and whiteness keep pretending there's only one way to be and define ourselves and what we learn, perverts all into becoming money and abuses to protect the power gives participants in our dehumanization, we have to consider the story of this world fr, that there are abuses in place today because of history that they're tied to skin, that they're tied to identity and the disparities represent our inability to compromise into making life fair and humane for all, those who are not deemed are those who are not picture perfect functions of the system, race usually comes tied to a perception of less humanity, of ableism, of being born as less because of it, do people not see it or are they just good st ignoring their own words?
it's insidious that the story keeps pretending that jefferson morales is able to stand for the entire police and on top of that they imply that that's what would happen with jefferson dead like rio didn't die in the comics and it just made miles want to do good like as much as i enjoyed the twist by the end it doesn't sit right with me but at the same time they sort of implied that it's all about the superhero, so like idk part of. me think there's actually a division in the writing room, and by the end what's given me hope for that story to maybe break was hobie and gwen's storylines, albeit gwen's a bit more ambiguous it feels close to what jefferson should represent how miles does things that jefferson finds conflict and how maybe he cant keep supporting power but i just don't know how many people understand that either, cops are a job, they just follow rules, how many times have people working companies or for a living have had to do horrible shit to themselves and others because we were taught to endure it, cops are the most advanced and finalized version of that able to mutilate themselves and kill others in service of power coated in a story made to make them feel good
like fuck is there any way to leave this clearer? miguel has created what is basically rick and morty's fucking citadel abd just as fascistic as that one bitch thinks he can control time and space because of his dark story, miles breaks away from that, so does hobie, so does gwen by the end, right now maybe i want to leave it clearer, for me, that the story is a disaster due to the implication that cops are just like masked vigilantes and that the only difference is the legality of the act, when we know, maybe mostly by those that inhabit a reality marginalized, that cops just maintain divisions that are meant to protect a status quo, the two lines the story followed should have been used to contrast different moralities, those enforced by power and those sought out from a place of kindness and that much i can tell fell flat for me because of that fucking contrast nowhere to be seen, what i hate right now is have to wait to the next movie because in my head i keep replaying hobie looking with pride and miles breaking apart miguel little bitch o'hara, and gwen's dad saying he quit, because it meant hurting his own daughter, and theres a ray of hope there but idk people need a reality check, cops are killers, cops are murderers, cops are your enemy because they make you one, you don't get to choose your role when you're in a situation with them, and the writers need to leave that clearer because otherwise it is truly off putting to have this movie like this right now when atlanta's fucking cop.city is looking to become a model of fascism everywhere on the fucking world like do i sound insane or hyperbolic? i don't think so, we know history i hope, what this movie has done with the cops and heroism and race is truly atrocious but there's hope if they can be knocked into sense and that starts with looking at reality from those whose faces are put onscreen for us to see ourselves like can we really not make better mirrors of ourselves that empty tools of the state in the forms of cops? like can we really not be better than a glorified pencil. pusher crunching people for the state? is that all heroes can be too? how depressing man....

Assassin with a Heart of Gold
Tumblr media
Name: Admaer Daeneiros (He/Him)
Race: High Elf
Class: Rogue (Assassin)
Background: Criminal
Inspiration & Story: This lil guy I made long before I even touched BG3. He was originally made for a Out of the Abyss game that was unfortunately dropped. So his story was prematurely ended. The main inspo for this character is that he's an asshole with a soft heart. A tsundere hoe who thinks the don't care, but they actually do.
The main concept of his backstory is that he was born and raised a slave, more or less. At a young age, his Elven mother gave him up to a poor Human family. Only for that family to sell him away for money. He spent the majority of his life being bounced around by different slave owners, doing various different jobs that were asked of him. Eventually, his skills were so polished that he did better as a hired killer and assassin. He eventually escapes his enslavement and is on the hunt to kill every slave owner who ever owned him.
Below will related to his story so far within BG3.
WARNING, SPOILERS AHEAD!
Admaer isn't a native in Baldur's Gate, but he was quite obviously in the city when the Mindflayers snatched him up. He was (and still is) on a hunt to go after the man who made his life a living hell. For the purposes of this game, that end goal for Admaer is killing Lord Enver Gortash.
While on the Nautiloid, he opt to not save Shadowheart since the ship was quickly sinking. After the fact, he would meet her again and recruit her in the group. He would do the same with Astarion, Lae'zel, and Wyll. As for Gale, because the portal seemed dangerous, he saw no need to interfere with it.
Admaer's mind right now, aside from his own personal goals, is to get rid of the Mindflayer tadpole within his head. So upon entering the Emerald Grove, he's been largely dismissive of the Tieflings' blight and the Druids wanting to kick them out. However, the small inklings of the Druid Halsin has slightly peaked his interest. He's yet to meet kagha and Nettie.
Companion Relationships:
Astarion: Since EA (Early Access) Astarion was always my number one pick for this character, so he's obviously the "End Game Girl." Right now, in the context of the story, Admaer still doesn't know that Astarion is a vampire. However, both being fellow roguish men, Admaer currently is friendly with Astarion. Though he has noticed that Astarion has been feeling a little slow as of late.
Shadowheart: Admaer is also friendly with Shadowheart, though he is more distrusting of her than he should be of Lae'zel. Shadowhearts' constant bashing against the Githyanki has Admaer questioning why that is the case and if she's hiding any shit of her own. Especially since she's yet to come forth about the mysterious bauble she keeps on her person. If there's one thing he does agree with, it's that they need to find someone who can get rid of the tadpole.
Lae'zel: Not vibing with her condescending attitude, but respecting that she's not afraid to break a few bones to get the job done. Funnily enough, I accidentally appealed to her so much that she offered to fuck him XD. Admaer politely declined, though he did get some insight on what her history was like as a Githyanki warrior serving the Lich Queen, Vlaakith. Admaer is a little bit more on board with going to the Gith Creche since Lae'zel has been forth coming about what the next steps should be. Compared to Shadowhearts suggestion of just finding a healer. You know, in the middle of nowhere.
Gale: Mentioned this earlier, but when he found the unstable sigil, Admaer decided to leave it alone. So no opinion on Gale yet.
Wyll: Admear see's Wyll as a typical "do-gooder" type individual. He's even more confused as to why he's more focused on his search for Karlach than the tadpole they both possess in their head. He allows him to camp with his crew, seeing no point in not including the famed Blade of Frontiers. Especially, if his status holds true, he could utilize his fame to get themselves into the good graces of some important people.
Karlach: He hasn't met her yet. Right now, all he has is Wylls word: She's some sort of Devil who's out murdering innocents.

I don't think his dad died of overheating though. The leaks hadstated he used a gruesome way to say the dad and girl died by being turned into lumps of flesh. I can't find reverse search for sentences using the kanji and on the whole saying they died or turned to a actual corpse would have been less gruesome? I don't know. Some on Japanese side of Twitter posted art of Shishikura as a joke so I'm leaning that way. Considering AFO kidnapped his dad they had the theory of AFO tries uses that quirk
Also the hand Enji was looking at had scars. Some theorized the dad was a quirkless reckless do gooder. At some level both Deku and All Might were estentially quirkless and gained the powers to be superhumans. And AFO and Endeavor will then have that one flimsy connect that they both believe acquiring suitable quirks is the only way to make someone the strongest.
i just checked the raw before going to bed yesterday and yes, it doesn't contain any word implying 'fire' in Japanese. this reminds me of a few weeks ago with hawks' "prosthetic wings" but bro, in Jp it implied his swords 💀 the kanji was used (悪漢) isn't the word mha uses to refer 'villain'. it simply means 'bad guy' although it does mean 'villain' in the dictionary. rip.
both fantrans and official just like to tempt foreign readers to learn JP themselves huh?
(and yes, tf enji don't use that tone with your parent! it sounds impertinent even to me who barely understand jp. and if anyone question if it's really enji's father then yes, the Japan word said so.)
Tumblr media
the wounds didn't really show which type of damage he had received. i said the kanji isn't the word that used to refer 'villain' in mha but look at the damage, like, it's so obviously that was a criminal using quirk a.k.a a villain. so enji's father wasn't (necessary) a quirkless gooder or a civilian either. heroes have already existed long before all might debut, just that that era was tyrannized by afo and, not really important but, the older generation had their quirks weaker than the new generation. it makes an era where heroes were there but not enough, where heroes tended to lose their lives in action and people lived in fear. with that scar then enji's father probably was a hero too.
also bc if he wasn't a hero then it made less sense for enji to put his portrait on the wall. that's an action only for those (who's gone) with prominent talent and/or achievements you revere. Japanese usually won't do it for family member, but i guess that partly implies how enji feels about his father? like, it sounds weird if his father died as a reckless civilian but enji was just deeply shook by the 'weakness'. he would have been a weak fool too and enji would have mourned him in the butsudan like he did with touya instead of looking up to his portrait. culture problem. it makes even less sense if enji's father was quirkless. how did it influence enji's self-deprecating take about his own quirk?
one more thing is if enji's father had a quirk it probably was fire-type and had the same physical limit as enji. (shoto and touya inherited that limit as well.)
idk about afo since i think that bald bastard is your typical 'i do this because i can, not for any particular reason' villain in the neighborhood. endeavor, as the world, didn't know ofa is a gastrointestinal quirk until after the war. he was simply an asshole, narcissistic Asian parent who thought of his children as expanded parts of himself. which was why shouto and touya were held significantly in his mind and heart, because fuyumi and natsuo doesn't inherit his fire part, and shouto and touya does. although such mindset probably had gone during the short time he and touya training together. idk, love changes people. every mistake he made after touya's death was driven by trauma and effort to deny his weakness.

Mix 1 Ounce of Elation, 1 Pound of Depression
"Meet the new boss, Same as the old boss" The Who - "Won't Get Fooled Again"
Boy did I feel muchas more goodish a few weeks ago when it was reported that Oregon had learned it's lesson on de-criminalizing drugs.
So our elected political class (elites, experts and betters) have been hard it in conference working to solve the problem.
You'd think it would be pretty easy to put the same laws and penalties back on the books that existed until 4 years ago.
Maybe just pass a resolution to cancel Measure 110?
Nope. Gotta be some comprehensive all inclusive bigger better faster solution that only progressive do-gooders can think up in a back room trying to please all known sub groups - except law abiding taxpayers.
And after a few weeks, they've just passed out of committee the solution - along with it's new price tag of $211 million dollars. That's 211 as in 1/5 of a billion of our money.
At first I thought, "Wow. That's gonna pay for a lot of cops and jail beds.
But, you know, whatever it takes to make Portland Great Again."
Then like a fool I read further.
The $211,000,000 includes:
Money for specialty courts (diversion programs, assistance with housing, training on how to bathe, etc.)
“Shovel ready projects” to address addiction and mental health
Medication to treat people in jails who suffer from opioid addiction
Training for people working in mental health fields
$30 million for county-based diversion programs
$800,000 for the state to come up with ways to address the mental health and addiction needs of youths
Cops? Penalties? No mention of going after the dealers, middlemen and the kingpins.
Keep in mind, they aren't going to spend 1/5 of a billion dollars one time and the problem is solved. Nosirree. This will be another ongoing forever program with hundreds or thousands of new state or NGO career employees helping addicts (victims), and dealers (just selling to feed their families).
First I'm gonna to buy a Semi-Trailer Truck full of beer and a U-Haul 15 footer packed to the gills with pepperoni sticks. Then I'm gonna crawl deep, deep back into my underground bunker to wait this out.
I'll peek out each year on Groundhog day to check on things.

Wicked Ugly Bad (#1)
Scarlett Riding is NOT an ugly stepsister. Cinderella is the evil one in the family and Letty is determined to prove it. Unfortunately, that’s kinda hard to do from behind bars. After the debacle at the ball, Letty and her sister Dru were dragged off to the Wicked, Ugly and Bad Mental Health Treatment Center and Maximum Security Prison. While Cindy’s planning her dream wedding, her two stepsisters are being forced to endure life in the dreariest dungeon in the land.
Luckily, Letty has a plan to change that unhappy ending. If she can just get to Prince Charming and prove the glass slipper doesn’t fit Cinderella’s foot, she can reclaim her life. In order to do that, though, she needs to convince The Big Bad Wolf to lend a hand in organizing a jailbreak.
Marrok Wolf isn’t sure what to make of the idealistic redhead in his group therapy sessions. With fifty counts of Badness on his criminal record, Marrok’s used to being surrounded by crooks and scumbags. Scarlett wants to lecture him about equal rights for trolls! When the little do-gooder comes up with an elaborate plan to break their entire “share circle” out of prison, though, Marrok is certainly willing to go along with the plot. And not just because he wants to see her naked. The woman may not be wicked, ugly, or Bad, but she’s definitely the only one who can save him.
Together with a wicked witch, a timid bridge ogre, an evil prince, and other villains straight out of a storybook, Scarlett and Marrok are about to make sure that Baddies finally have a happily ever after.
“Baby, I don’t even know how to be gentle.” He said honestly. “If I were a Good guy, I really would walk away and leave you. Since I’m not going to do that, you should be the one to leave. I want you very, very much and I’ll cheat if that’s what it takes to keep you for myself.”
She tilted her head. “If you’re so wholly Bad, why are you warning me about it?”
“Because,” he held up their connected palms, “you’re the only one who holds my hand.”

Seducing the Sheriff of Nottingham (#5)
Ten years ago she was sent to the Wicked Ugly and Bad Prison for murdering the Sheriff of Nottingham. One small problem: She didn’t do it! Now, magic is sending the former Good girl back in time to set things right.
Marion’s embraced her Badness, this time around. She’ll get revenge on her selfish ex-boyfriend, Robin Hood, make Nottingham pay for all the ways they screwed her over, and save the handsome, gargoyle sheriff from his real killer.
…And while she’s at it, she’ll seduce that brooding man and claim her real happily ever after!
“I’ve also been considering my earlier worries about your reputation and it occurs to me I was thinking about it all wrong. If you’re me… what’s the downside in publically compromising you?”
“Well,” Marion drawled out, suddenly seeing his grand plan. “If you ruin a Maid, you have to marry her. It’s only gentlemanly.”
“Exactly. So, I think I’m going to ruin you. Thoroughly. Then, all the noble idiots will stay away. No one else will come riding to your rescue, duchess. You’ll be stuck with just me.” He smirked at his own genius. “Once you’re a fallen woman… I’ll be the only one who can catch you.”

What’s the worst that could happen?
Washington, D.C., wants to lower the maximum sentences for criminals and make life easier for criminals who illegally own guns.
The D.C. Council unanimously approved changes to the city’s criminal code, which would reduce maximum sentences for burglaries, carjackings, and robberies. It would also reduce penalties for illegal gun possession, including for carrying a pistol without a license and for being a felon in possession of a firearm.***
Meanwhile, as of September, there were 330 reported carjackings in the city, up 23% compared to last year. D.C. residents risk having their car stolen simply by loading or unloading groceries. Carjackings have been rising in the city since 2019, and it isn’t just their cars that are at risk. Washington Commanders rookie running back Brian Robinson was shot twice in an attempted carjacking in August, and a Pakistani immigrant was killed in 2021 when two carjackers flipped his vehicle.
The lower penalties for illegal possession also come as the city has failed to get its homicide issue under control. In 2021, the city hit 200 homicides in November, the most in the city since 2003. This year, the city hit 100 homicides in June, the fastest it had hit that mark since 2003. Homicides have increased every year in Washington, D.C., since 2017.*** https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/dc-wants-to-lower-sentences-for-carjackers-and-felons

The Pennsylvania GOP-controlled House impeached Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner on Wednesday over allegations that his policies led to a spike in the city's violent crime.
Pennsylvania Republicans filed articles of impeachment against Krasner on Oct. 27 for "negligence of duty." Pennsylvania House Majority Leader Kerry Benninghoff said that, under Krasner, there have been almost 1,000 homicides in Philadelphia in the last 22 months, as well as "over 1,000 carjackings since the beginning of the year," according to the Philadelphia Tribune.
The House voted to impeach Krasner 107-85. The vote will now go to the Senate, where critics need a two-thirds majority to convict Krasner. However, Republicans hold only a slight majority, so it is unclear whether they will be able to get the votes needed to oust the Philadelphia district attorney.*** https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/pennsylvania-house-impeaches-philadelphia-da-larry-krasner

Nellie Bowles makes a good point about political privilege
→ Can Dems handle investigating FTX? The crypto wunderkind Sam Bankman-Fried seems like he’d be in a lot of trouble right now. It sure looks like he was running one of the largest financial scams in history, with his cryptocurrency “bank” at one point valued at $32 billion and Bankman-Fried on his way to being “the world’s first trillionaire,” according to the investment firm Sequoia Capital. But Bankman-Fried was also one of the largest donors to the Democratic party, second only to George Soros this past cycle. And so the touch from media and regulatory bodies has been extraordinarily, hilariously soft. SEC chair Gary Gensler, a former campaign finance chair for Hillary Clinton, has long been cozy with Bankman-Fried, helping his business grow (when you give that much money, it’s only fair to get a little something back). From Fortune magazine: “Cop-on-the-beat Gensler not only failed to spot the crime—he appeared set to go along with a legislative strategy that would have given SBF a regulatory moat and made him king of the U.S. crypto market.”
It’s a family operation. Bankman-Fried’s parents are Stanford Law School professors and deeply involved with Democratic party leadership. His mother, Barbara Fried, has helped raise tens of millions for Democrats through her PAC, Mind the Gap. His father, Joseph Bankman, helped draft tax legislation for Elizabeth Warren.
So the media has decided for now that the young Bankman-Fried was just a goofy overextended do-gooder. As the NYT put it this week: “His ambitions exceeded his grasp” and he was just super “overextended.” Same thing happens when I make too many work commitments—I end up in the Bahamas with a billion dollars. SBF is still on the line-up to speak at an upcoming NYT event with Janet Yellen, Secretary of the Treasury.
The man who cleaned up Enron—John Ray III—has been dragged back in now to clean up FTX. And here’s what he said in bankruptcy filings: “Never in my career have I seen such a complete failure of corporate controls and such a complete absence of trustworthy financial information as occurred here. From compromised systems integrity and faulty regulatory oversight abroad, to the concentration of control in the hands of a very small group of inexperienced, unsophisticated and potentially compromised individuals, this situation is unprecedented.”
(Enron lost its shareholders $74 billion.)
For his part, Bankman-Fried is being pretty honest about who he is, which is a con artist. A Vox reporter had this exchange with the crypto mogul:
Tumblr media
Never trust a grown man who writes “hehe.”
You’d think after saying something like that, the gloves would come off. Nope! The Vox reporter goes with the same old line that Bankman-Fried was just in over his head: “Why didn’t Bankman-Fried realize what was happening until it was too late?” she asks. That’s a question I’m sure his defense lawyer will use a lot. The poor child had no idea what was happening, your honor. This gentle, credulous treatment is 100% unrelated to the fact that Bankman-Fried has funded that very Vox vertical, a collaboration the company says is “on pause.” Ok.
Just in case, though, Vox is being sure to distance Democrats from Bankman-Fried with another article, headlined: “The impact of Sam Bankman-Fried’s support for Democrats is massively overstated.” See, it’s not such a big deal to be the party’s second largest donor who just spent $36 million supporting Dems in the midterms.
Last note on this is to point out that his mom, Barbara, is a major ethicist at Stanford who doesn’t believe in free will, personal responsibility, or blame, which is very much the mom you want in this situation. “The philosophy of personal responsibility has ruined criminal justice and economic policy. It’s time to move past blame,” Barbara wrote in the Boston Review.
Anyway, once you know this man is a complete scammer, this video interview is so much funnier:  https://youtu.be/HPM6rf0-e6M

Why isn’t this an ACLU case?
WILMINGTON, Del.—A lawsuit against Wilmington, Delaware’s abusive towing scheme will move forward after a federal district court ruled against the city’s attempt to dismiss the case. In September 2021, two victims of Wilmington’s tow-and-impound racket, Ameera Shaheed and Earl Dickerson, represented by the Institute for Justice (IJ), filed a lawsuit seeking to bring an end to Wilmington’s unconstitutional impound system.
“This is a great decision, and we can’t wait to get the city and the towing companies under oath at deposition,” said IJ Attorney Will Aronin. “Wilmington empowered these companies to keep and scrap thousands of cars in exchange for running the city’s impound program. That’s unconstitutional and today’s victory brings us one huge step closer to shutting the system down for good.”
Wilmington contracts out its municipal impound system to private towing companies and funds the whole system by letting these companies wrongfully take and keep people’s cars. The city pays these companies nothing for their services, but there’s no such thing as a free lunch. The price of Wilmington’s “cost-free” impound services falls squarely on vehicle owners in Wilmington, who are at risk of losing their cars to an impound system that profits off scrapping the cars they tow.
U.S. District Judge Colm F. Connolly determined that “Wilmington can’t have it both ways.” Either the victims have an argument that taking the whole value of their car for simple parking tickets is an excessive fine, or the owners have a claim that the city is taking property from them without compensation since their tickets don’t rise to the value of the cars. While the city recently announced reforms to make the towing program less abusive, these fundamental problems remain.
The city ticketed Ameera’s legally parked car six times in nine days. While her appeal of the wrongly issued tickets was pending, the city towed her car and demanded payment in full. When Ameera, a disabled grandmother of three, could not afford to pay the more than $300 in tickets within 30 days, First State Towing scrapped her car. Though Ameera’s lost car was worth over $4,000, Wilmington still demands payment and has actually increased what she owes with added penalties to $580. *** https://ij.org/press-release/wilmington-residents-win-first-round-of-lawsuit-challenging-citys-unconstitutional-impound-racket/

California eliminates jaywalking tickets unless it would make a collision likely.
California joins Virginia, Massachusetts, Nevada, Philadelphia, and Kansas City, Missouri, which have also recently reformed their jaywalking laws and enforcement practices.***
So, why is there a push to relax jaywalking laws now? One of the main motivations driving changes to these laws is the desire to reduce racial profiling. For example, Black people make up about 9% of the population in Los Angeles, yet they receive about one-third of all jaywalking tickets in the city over the past decade.***   https://www.findlaw.com/legalblogs/personal-injury/will-jaywalking-reforms-make-you-safer/

Sam Bankman-Fraud sniffs, “amateur!”
An Ohio man was arrested today on criminal charges related to his alleged involvement in a cryptocurrency investment fraud scheme that raised at least $10 million from investors.
According to court documents, Rathnakishore Giri, 27, of New Albany, allegedly misled investors by fraudulently promoting himself as an expert cryptocurrency trader, with a specialty in trading Bitcoin derivatives. As alleged in the indictment, Giri falsely promised investors that he would generate lucrative returns with no risk to their principal investment amount, which he guaranteed to return. In reality, Giri often allegedly used money provided by new investors to repay old investors – a hallmark of a Ponzi scheme. In addition, Giri allegedly had a record of investment failures, including a long history of losing investors’ principal investments, and misled investors about reasons for delays when they sought to cash out their investments or otherwise obtain the return of their “guaranteed” principal.*** https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/investment-manager-arrested-10-million-cryptocurrency-ponzi-scheme

Was Linwood Scott a motivated offender?
Was  Margaret Mills Smith a suitable victim?
Was there a capable guardian?
*** On March 18, 1994, a stranger broke into then-19-year-old Margaret Mills Smith’s home on Stockton Road in the middle of the night and sexually assaulted her. The rapist entered the home via Smith’s two-year-old daughter’s bedroom window. Smith says her little girl saw the rapist.***
Evidence showed the suspect cut telephone lines and unscrewed porch and living room lightbulbs.
He surveyed the kitchen, picked up a butcher knife, and approached the 19-year-old who was awakened when the suspect put the knife’s blade on her neck.
After the attack, Smith says the rapist offered a cruel gesture and haunting comments.
The last thing he said to me before he left that night, he put me back in bed and pulled the blanket up to my neck as if he were tucking me in. He put the butcher knife up to my throat and said ‘You owe me your life.‘
Year after year the case remained unsolved. In 2019, after seeing news reports about untested rape kits, Smith called on Norfolk police to reopen her case.
In a matter of weeks, the decades-old cold case was solved, leading to the arrest of Linwood Scott as he was about to be released from prison on an unrelated conviction. Scott was incarcerated outside Richmond — just days away from finishing a 15-year sentence for burglary.***  https://www.wavy.com/news/local-news/norfolk/man-convicted-in-1994-norfolk-rape-case-awaits-sentencing/

Prosecutors have dismissed charges against four Marines who were accused of rocking a gondola at the San Diego Zoo, causing the ride to fail and stranding more than 100 passengers in the air for two-plus hours.
The San Diego County District Attorney’s Office dismissed the case “in the interest of justice,” Tanya Sierra, a spokeswoman for the office, told Marine Corps Times.
“After a negotiated agreement, we agreed to dismiss the case after 6 months of no new violations of the law and full payment of restitution,” Sierra wrote in a statement to Marine Corps Times.
She noted that the defendants have paid $18,260 in restitution to the San Diego Zoo.
The Marines had faced up to three years in prison on felony vandalism charges.

Melroy Cort case
Charges against an Etna area Marine veteran in a wheelchair were dropped this week after a social media video of his encounter with policer went viral.
Originally posted on Monday by a Virginia man via TikTok, U.S. Marine Cpl. Melroy Cort is shown being detained by Licking County Sheriff's Office Deputy Alexander Caldwell after he was accused of assaulting police officers, who were called to the scene for a dispute over a damaged fence. Pataskala Division of Police Officers Johnnessa Justice and Zack Sarver were also on site for the incident that occurred on Oct. 21.
Cort lost both his legs and suffered permanent damage to his right hand, as well as a traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress, four months into his deployment to Iraq in 2005.
Licking County Sheriff Randy Thorp said their administrative team reviewed over three hours of body camera footage from the call and subsequent arrest.***
A court entry filed by Assistant Law Director Amy Davison on Wednesday moved to dismiss the charges filed against Cort, citing "conflicting surveys done since the filing of this charge and has led to a property line dispute." Davison said the issue is now a civil matter. ***On December 5, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit will hear arguments about whether this arrangement is constitutional. In Consumers’ Research v. FCC , petitioners argue that Section 254 of the Telecommunications Act of 1996, which establishes the modern universal service program, is an unconstitutional delegation of legislative authority to the FCC. They also argue that the agency’s decision to outsource management of the program to the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) is an unconstitutional delegation of power to a private entity. If successful, the suit will rein in an increasingly unstable program and prompt Congress to put its universal service initiatives on firmer legal ground with more accountability.
The petitioners’ argument is quite simple. Article I of the U.S. Constitution provides that “all legislative Powers herein shall be vested in a Congress of the United States,” including the “Power To lay and collect Taxes . . . to pay the Debts . . . of the United States.” But with regard to the USF, Section 254 delegates that power instead to the executive branch. The FCC, not Congress, makes important policy judgments about what programs should be established under universal service and, more importantly, how to raise revenue to fund those programs. As a result, Congress has unconstitutionally delegated the legislative power to the FCC in violation of the separation of powers.*** https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/restoring-america/fairness-justice/fifth-circuit-hear-long-overdue-constitutional-challenge-universal-service-fund

One year after gangs of thieves looted Western Pacific trains leaving Los Angeles, a police task force has brought down two cartels that stole $18 million in high-priced goods and sold them through online marketplaces.
It was a familiar sight to see tracks leaving the Port of Los Angeles littered with boxes and debris during late 2021, the result of burglars who rifled through slow-moving trains loaded with goods. The items were destined for stores across the nation that had been decimated by the pandemic and awaited new goods.***
The Train Burglary Task Force, headed by the Los Angeles Police Department, has arrested 91 people and served 49 search warrants over the past several months, bringing the number of thefts down to almost zero. Wicked Ugly Bad, by Cassandra Gannon
Wicked Ugly Bad by Cassandra Gannon
“ Once Upon a Time… Scarlett Riding is NOT an ugly stepsister. “
