So recently I have been dropped a lot of trailers for the upcoming movie “The School of Good and Evil”. Not because I am a fan of it - I never read the book, never knew it existed before the movie trailers dropped - but just because I am into fairytales, magic and stuff like that, so Youtube kind of made the dots.

And so I looked at a few here and there as the months went, without paying attention... Until I saw this thumbnail. This precise thumbnail in which you see how the prince has a potbelly. It is all in the costume, because I watched other trailers before with him appearing and I had never noticed that - but in this thumbnail, due to the costume, you can clearly see the pudge tugging at his waist. 

I don’t know who the character is, and I don’t know who the actor is either, but by looking back at the videos I realize he is a bit on the thick/chunky side. Not much, but still... So maybe something to look out for.

I did briefly take a look at the novel the movie is based on - which is, if you don’t know, about a school raising the heroes and villains of fairytales, princes and princesses VS witches and trolls and the like. And there was one male fat character - but it was among the villains (because all the villains are “ugly”, logically) and he was described as a pale, bald, obese teen that basically looks more like an evil blob than a human being, “swollen” and “doughy” all over and with just nasty thoughts and intentions. I haven’t seen him appear in the trailers so they probably revamped or reshaped him to avoid what is basically fat-shaming (especially since it is a Netflix show).
