All BioWare did with the "reveal" was give writers for articles like GamesRadar something to overanalyze for clickbait for the foreseeable future.

Emprise du Lion
"The ancient name of these highlands has long been lost to time. When the first Valmont emperor was crowned in the Exalted Age, the mountains were renamed Emprise du Lion to honor the House of Valmont, which bears a lion upon its crest. Remnants of a forgotten past, mingled delightfully with signs of the present, charming villages dotted the landscape, and scattered among them, relics of the lost elven nation".
- Brother Genitivi
"Treacherous ground here. I'm picturing myself bumping all the way down a mountain".

Reddit Prompt: Solas Being A Mentor
Prompt 2: “I Think I Prefer Not Knowing”
Ellie was in a word intimidated by the Elder Mage. He reminded her a little of First Enchanter Goqi and the Knight Captain rolled into one.
"Surana," his deep voice acknowledged.
"Elder Solas," she responded respectively and watched the most startled expression on his face.
"Elder?" He asked.
"Yes, you are much older than me and have seen the world and the Fade. The wise men in the alienage were always Elders," she pointed out.
"How old exactly are you Surana?"
"I'll be fifteen in a few days."
Solas was many things but he had accepted that this girl had a fragment of his magic but the knowledge that she was literally no more than a child upset him. She was an elven mage child. All plans he had had for Elinya Surana had been destroyed and reshaped at that moment. "I suppose Elder Solas will suffice."
The smile that lit on Ellie's face seemed to ease Solas.
"Have you had any luck in remembering what happened at the Conclave?"
"No, but maybe there's a reason I don't. I think I prefer not knowing if it was really bad."

If we ever do get an Origins remake there’s so many main areas I’d love to see fully realized but also this random encounter area is so pretty I want to see this gussied up for newer systems too.
