sixteen months in prison for what brian peck did to drake bell.

i have to post my brain rot on here before i lose it (any hate will be blocked i’m not having that convo rn i’m just talking about the docuseries)

all the drake bell/nickelodeon stuff is so sickening. i haven’t stopped thinking about it for DAYS. The more i learn about what happened to drake the more sad i am about everything. i can’t imagine what he went through. he was fifteen years old. FIFTEEN. you can’t even drive a car and for months he was brutally r*ped by someone he trusted. six months. the list of what Brian Peck was charged with are awful. that’s sexual torture.

not only did he go through that alone for months, but he had only two other people defending him in court and an entire ROOM of famous people defending the man who r*ped him.

i can’t imagine the long term effects that has on someone. i couldn’t watch the entire doc clip without crying, seeing his expression and body language is so heartbreaking. i’m so glad he’s speaking up, and giving space for other male victims to talk about their experiences.

i hope he and other survivors can heal.

drakes dad thought drake was safe from what brian did.

something about quiet on set that never fails to make my heart drop is the fact that Drake’s dad thought Brian was being charged with molesting a different kid.

He was so relieved that Drake wasn’t the one that was hurt, because he had a bad feeling about him.

Saying it continues to hurt him (his dad) to this day made me sob. I can’t imagine thinking “thank god my kid ended up being alright” only to find out he was tortured and brutally raped for months.
