For the fanfic ask, gimmie some Reservoir Dogs headcanons you want to talk about

Delayed response but hey ho here are some thoughts:

 - I tend to read the situation as Vic dying before Vincent and Vincent not living long enough to find out what happened to his brother when he returns from Europe. I don’t know if that’s canonised anywhere and probably is and I’m probably missing something here?

 - Vincent is never even slightly aware that the diamonds in the suitcase are what his brother died for

 - Vic is Gay. Big time. He’s simultaneously very comfortable in this and has no problem asserting it and has some very messed up views about gender roles and sex that make him a highly toxic lay

 - Brown didn’t die. He took a nasty hit to the head and bled a lot (everyone knows headwounds bleed a lot) but he’s the only member of the gang I am 100% sure made it out alive

 - Not so much a headcanon as I’m open to different death tolls here but I do have a half finished fic in my WIPS of Pink and Brown winding up in the same prison several years down the line and forming the worlds’ most unlikely and awful friendship/romantic entanglement

 - When Joe started talking about how everyone needed to case the place Larry made a point of going with Freddy. No ‘Joe orders’ or whatever, Larry set the whole thing up himself

 - Blue was the best adjusted of the gang and Freddy should probably have made friends with him instead

 - Vic may have done the Big Time for Joe and be a long term friend of Eddie’s, but Pink has far and away the veteran of Joe Cabot’s cronies. Joe practically raised him and his loyalty is unwavering - no other way a guy that skittish would stay the course. Pink is the defacto ‘Joe’s man’ on any given job who reports back to the boss and this is why he’s so obsessed with professionalism

 - Larry was brought in by Blue of all people

 - Larry is a coffee snob just like his brother. They probably got it from their father. 

 - Larry and Freddy either died in that warehouse or they went on the run. They did not wind up in an American hospital afterwards and neither of them ever go to trial

 - Larry can cook! Very well in fact. Freddy doesn’t know what to do with this because he likes cold spaghetti hoops straight out of a can and is allergic to vegetables. 

 - Larry actually grew up in a fairly good home and is kind of embarrassed about it around his low life pals

 - In every universe where Freddy and Larry get away alive, Holdaway eventually becomes so impressed with their gumption for staying out of the way of law enforcement that he can’t even hate them for it

 - Joe was on the edge of dementia and if he hadn’t been shot down in the warehouse it wouldn’t have been long before he slipped somewhere else

 - Rape tw on this one but I can’t really see that the alarms Vic dislikes so much could have been going off at any other time other than when he was raped. i’m in two minds as to whether the prison riot and the rape were two separate occasions but the more I think on that line the more I think that the one must have happened while the other was occurring

 - It is absolute BULLSHIT that in so many places in America is is necessary for customers to tip 20% plus in order for the serving staff not to starve. Pink’s a little confused but he’s got the spirit.
