please read my twilight wolf lore written in my jacob black headcanon here .

paul lahote was born into a family who looked perfect on the outside . they were the typical all-american family in a beautiful house in the suburbs . his dad was a former athlete who had gone off to college on a football scholarship and met the picture - perfect cheerleader . they were engaged and married before they graduated and paul's mother , grace , fell pregnant before she could get her degree . paul's father , john , stayed in school and finished his degree - becoming an accountant who made a good living and was able to move the family to tacoma

everything was . . . fine until paul was eight . his father had a temper from the beginning and pushed his mother into being what he thought was the perfect housewife . he never got physical with paul's mother , but the pressure was hard on her and she never seemed to get things right . she had dreamed of being a lawyer , not a stay at home mom and started to distance herself from john and paul as time went on . on paul's eighth birthday he woke to disaster - his mother had fled to her parent's house and demanded a divorce . john told him that she never tried to fight for any of them and had abandoned paul . despite not believing him at first , paul eventually accepted this version of events as truth and vowed to live up to his father's expectations so he didn't end up like grace .

it wasn't long before john moved paul away from tacoma - uprooting his young life even more . they went back to john's hometown of la push , a place john had said he'd never return to . but he had gotten offered a spot on the tribal council and declared it would be a good move . he could work from home out of a base in port angeles and devote more time to paul . paul thought perhaps things would turn around . he was wrong .

john was a pusher . he pushed paul to be perfect in all aspects of life - no matter how much it killed paul . paul had to join every sport he could , ace all of his classes , and always be seen with the "right" kind of people . he hated the popularity that came with being a jock . the other kids could never really relate to him because he could never be up front about his home life . there were times when john would get violent when paul didn't meet expectations but paul internalized it thinking if he had just been better it wouldn't have happened . he wouldn't leave his father like his mother had done , wouldn't give up on him . besides , he had nowhere else to go .

to everyone else - they were perfect . people adored john , especially after he joined the council . he would rant about how he hated not being higher up in ranks but he still went to every meeting and tried to make his opinion heard . the people of the reservation thought that john was the epitome of a good father . he had taken on being a single dad so well , after all . they would have never guessed what was going on behind closed doors . john was a charmer , for sure .

one thing john was very adamant about when paul was growing up was that paul would learn about the tribal legends . paul didn't think the legends were real , but unlike the other guys he came to know later , paul wished that they were . he wanted the strength that the shape-shifters of the legends possessed , the power . so he held onto every word that his father told him .

when he finally phased , paul was ecstatic to be a wolf . he had done so in a fit of anger after a fight with his father - luckily he had been alone so no one got harmed and sam happened to be on patrol to explain everything to him . paul took it in stride and adjusted quickly - happy to leave his friends and old life behind . he thought his father would be upset he had to quit sporst to avoid detection but he didn't seem to care . he only wanted paul to be the best wolf of the pack .

a few things bothered paul in his new state . for one , he had more trouble than the others controlling his emotions . sam theorized it came from unresolved trauma from his home life ( paul couldn't block them out of his thoughts and therefore sam & jared knew more about him than anyone - creating a close friendship between the three ) but paul refused to believe that . his father had only wanted the best for him . still , he struggled with his explosive anger . after sam hurts emily , paul tries harder to gain control of his emotions and even goes to classes for it - but he struggles every day .

another problem was that paul had been quite popular before transitioning . nobody knew why he had suddenly disappeared for weeks and when he came back seemed to leave everything behind - including a girl he had been seeing . paul refused to give explanations and was instead seen with sam & jared - fueling for the first time the "cult" rumors around la push .

There is obsessive, potent and more focused energy in that specific area of life that the astrological sign or house represents. Eg. 7th House = partnerships. 3rd House = communication. For now, I will be focusing on the house energy.

You are dealing with the extremes of that specific sign/house energy. With this series, I will help you in how you can use your stellium energy to your advantage - and how you can create more stability with this powerful energy!

🔮 I have recently read an article, written by Dr. Margaret Paul, and she wrote that ‘you should write down what you wanted emotionally from your parents when you were younger. For example, this could be wishing they would have hugged me more or accepting me for being different to them’. Then, afterwards, writing down what your inner child needs so,

E.g. What you wanted (accepting you for being different to your parents) changes into ‘I define my own worth, seeing my essence based on the truth coming through from my spiritual guidance. I value my differences’. In this way you are not abandoning your feelings and getting deep into the root cause of why you struggle to truly love and listen to yourself.

✨So what more can we do to improve this? In order to balance out this 4th house energy, astrology guides us to focus on the opposite house themes, which, in this case, is the 10th house. However, this doesn’t mean you ignore the 4th house themes, it’s just about knowing and applying both 10th and 4th house energy in order to have moderation in life and feel more balanced. You can then use your stellium energy to your advantage as you feel more energised and less drained from your stellium.✨

Begin to focus on 11th House themes such as…

✨ Be around your friends. They will bring a sense of normalcy. Or go out and meet new people that are on your level.

Overall Rating: 4.5/5

Story: 4.5/5 - Its handling of mental abuse is shockingly realistic and harrowing. And, though its mystery isn't particularly difficult to figure out, the tension it invokes is thick.

Performances: 4.5/5 - Walbrook is incredible as Paul, so believable in how he portrays an abuser who flips from doting to cruel that it's often hard to watch. Wynyard is similarly great as the fraying Bella.

Cinematography: 4/5 - Good use of layering to create disorienting shots.

Editing: 4/5

Music: 4/5

Choreography & Stunts: 4/5 - The can-can sequence is brief but hypnotic.

Sets: 4.5/5 - Though limited, they're lavish and feel lived-in.

Costumes, Hair, & Make-Up: 4/5 - The costuming is just gorgeous—especially Bella's.

Thinking about how crucial Louis' "roles" that he constantly plays in EP1 are to him becoming immortal. As a closeted queer man he adopts a macho persona, and as a Black man he has to smile and grit his teeth through the underestimatiom and abuse of his racist white colleages. But it doesn't stop there. He has to be the unscrupulous, cruel business man, the devout Catholic, the benevolent older brother, the second-favourite son.

Constantly it's emphasised how much he craves a real connection with someone who sees him for who he really is. His only friends before Lestat are Lily and Paul, but Paul disapproves of Louis' work and Lily literally gets paid to spend time with him (though we see that she does seem to accept or at least recognise Louis' homosexuality). Constantly it's emphasised how never being perceived and loved for who he truly is is a huge, emotionally draining, burden for Louis.

Throughout, Louis is confronted with moments that push his percieved self-identity into turmoil. Emotional and physical vulnerability with Lestat, for example. But I think the most poignant moment is when he tells Daniel, "the human [in me] was destroyed... utterly destroyed..." followed by a jump to the scene where Louis' mother accuses him of instigating his brother's death. Like everyone else, his mother has these preconceptions of Louis - that a man who runs brothels for a living (a job she disapproves of despite depending on the money it makes) surely could not be innocent in the death of his sibling. The constant pressure and need to fulfil the roles society expects of Louis wears him down, and the blame of his own mother is one of the final things which push him towards Lestat, in whom he sees freedom from social norms and true acceptance and understanding of every facet of himself.

Louis doesn't lose his humanity as a consequence of unwillingly becoming a vampire as in the books - it's not a slow, painful slide into amorality. He willingly forfeits it and chooses to become a vampire (how well he actually adapts to killing people remains to be seen). Society's expectations destroy him on such a level that he believes he can only find peace and understanding in separating himself from society altogether, in becoming something better than human.

Honestly I think now celeb breakups are different they mostly don’t unfollow anymore probably mute . The best indicator is when they aren’t seen together for a very long time then spotted with other people like Phoebe Bridges and Paul Mescal. But honestly I like your perspective to stop shipping in terror and reading every sign from likes to jewelry etc let’s enjoy the ride. I feel they are in it for the long haul but regardless they seem to really be growing and doing a lot of firsts which is exciting as we follow along (pictureless lol)I listened to a podcast Jenna Ortega did and she talked about how lonely it gets going months on end to film projects bond living with people you will never see again . She literally said she does not even know who she is right now the fame seems to be getting to her. I think she bonded with Percy and now since he has allegations against him she can’t be seen with him. That’s why I’m so glad TZ found each other and are able to support each other while filming the life of an actor is kind of unnatural.
