Thanks for the tag @kyber-infinitygems and @detectivelokis <3! Started working on a small town au for Endless Summer that will still keep the same sci fi elements! Decided to give The Endless a name and went with Blanche and she is Faye’s grandmother in this story. As usual, its still a wip but I’m very excited to be working on this one :)

An old western song came through the speakers, a ballad about a love lost while out in the desert. It wasn’t one Jake cared for but he learned first hand to never bother Blanche when she wanted to listen to it.

“Is the band playing tonight,” Blanche asked, moving to lean against one of the bar stools.

“It’s tourist season,” Jake says, wrapping up on the floor. “The band is always playing when tourists are in town.”

“Good, good.” Blanche began tapping her fingers on the counter, humming softly to the new song.

Jake wanted to ignore her, for once wishing he could get back to his boring routine of prepping for the evening. But having Blanche of all people in his bar made it impossible for him to focus.

“Alright, I’ll bite, what do you want?” Jake made his way around the bar until he was standing across from Blanche.

The light mood that Blanche held about her shifted suddenly. Her eyes narrowed, all pretense of ease now a stern glare that made Jake feel like he was back in the navy and was about to get told he was on latrine duty for a month. It was those years in the navy that helped him mask his feelings and put on a mask of indifference.

“Did you know I have a granddaughter?”

Jake stared at her, the absurdity of the question causing him to break out laughing.

“Grandma, I didn’t even know you had a kid, let alone a grandkid.” When she raised an eyebrow, Jake shrugged. “Its a nickname. You...you’re...you know...” He waved his at her but found himself unable to continue. “You know what, never mind. Ok, you have a granddaughter. What does that have to do with me?”

I think my favourite hobby is coming back onto tumblr every 6 months and scrolling through the playchoices tag just to see how far gone the game is now

Like are there still 20 diamond choices per chapter, do the characters have a personality besides being horny, what’s happening with blades, will there ever be an endless summer spinoff where we’re all happy and alive and so is the world 😔😔
