10/22/17--- Pool 4 (Red Wing) Water Temp: 56 Level:8.3Flow:@43,600cfs
High but falling best describes the levels on pool 4. Water clarity is decent and getting better each day as well.
This past week went kind of like we expected. Dubuque rigging with bait was a must early on but gave way to a really good trolling bite as the water cleared through the week. We still had to hunt cleaner water on Monday as the main river was still pretty stained. Fishing these areas a little slower with hair/meat on Dubuque rigs was the best way to catch in my boat.
Tuesday afternoon through Friday was kind of a trolling fest as we stayed with this program every day to put together good catches. Walleyes outnumbered Saugers 3 to 1 most every day with size being pretty good. 16-19 inches was the norm but fish up to 23 inches showed up as well.
The first three pics below are from Monday. Justin Gaustad, Tom VanHeuklom and Jason Feilsticker in the first one with some from Monday morning. Mostly Dubuque Rigs.
Greg Liebelt and Leif Knecht with a pair of good trolling fish. If you look close you’ll see that Leif’s is a big Saugeye.
Next is Ken Neeser, Terry Fahey and Jay Franz. They were in on Wednesday morning to join in on the fun.
The last two pics on the bottom left are from Wednesday afternoon. Dave Schlosser and Fred Evans with some chunks from a blue bird afternoon.
The last two in the bottom right are from Friday. David Reiss with a nice throwback and David and Al with a few that went home. Trolling was again the ticket for a consistent bite all day long.
Our Fall bite is set up to be really good for the next month barring any heavy rains.
When Ryan Bailey started the enormously popular web talk show Talking Marriage with Ryan Bailey, he had 2 goals in mind.
1) Help people by sharing his vast expertise on marriage and marriage related topics.
2) Interview actor Patrick J. Adams from the hit show Suits.
As you know, the first goal has been accomplished multiple times over. So so many times. But the second has remained elusive, haunting Ryan to his very core. Will our favorite hit web talk show host ever find peace? And will he find it before the finale of his show?
Seems like it was only yesterday that I hadn’t changed the world. It’s amazing to see how many people I’ve helped. People I’ve made better. And some that still need my help and don’t yet know it.
If you hate celebrities as much as Ryan does, you’re going to love this episode of Talking Marriage, where the guests are Ryan’s in laws and Ryan’s in laws are insane.
Ryan Bailey’s brain is too full of marriage wisdom to take in any sports knowledge. That’s why the crew brings in Jay Ellis from BET’s The Game to help Ryan learn the plays and run the drills that will help him get the football of love into the endzone of happiness. Or the hospital.
Before getting married, Ryan Bailey had to survive the wild west world of dating. In this week’s Talking Marriage, he shows Sean and Mary Kate Wiles (The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, Squaresville, Kissing in the Rain) how to get the girl by being a great talk show host.
Not content with mastering the internet and marriage, Ryan Bailey is setting a few new goals for Season Three of Talking Marriage.
The show is going to be better, the crew is going to be better, and Ryan is going to be better. And it starts by trying to convince AFI frontman and confirmed bachelor Davey Havok to try a little marriage.
Send out those invites, sign those prenups and finish up those seating charts because it’s wedding season. That’s right: Everyone’s favorite talk show about marriage filmed in a garage and hosted by marriage expert Ryan Bailey is back!
Season 3, The Quest For Patrick J. Adams, kicks off on Wednesday, April 8th with AFI frontman Davey Havok.
How was Talking Marriage Live? Do you know if there will be any video of it (realizing that might defeat the purpose)?
Talking Marriage Live was a success!! We had a sold out house and I’m feeling pretty good about our chances to do it again. A lot of fun bits, like Guy Time, a visit from Ryan’s wife’s best friend, a filmed Man on Man segment with Nick D’Agosto that should be finding it’s way online soon, the introduction of the WifeTracker 3000, and a surprise wedding for 2 lucky random people in the audience, one of whom happened to be Miss marykatewiles!
We taped the whole show but we’re not sure if we’ll release it all. Maybe bits and pieces. But our 2 filmed segments should be online in some form by the beginning of season 3.
