OOOO, TREATS INDEED!  Here’s some (belated) sugary sweet fluff for the best artist on Tumblr!:

“Let’s see, I got a whole bunch of Twizzlers, some Smarties, and some jerk gave me a ton of Necco Wafers.  Who gives Necco Wafers for Halloween?”

Noctis laughed as he watched Prompto go through the candy in his bag.  Yeah, they were seventeen years old. Yeah, that was probably a little—okay, a lot—too old to go trick-or-treating, but when had something like that ever stopped them before?  After an urging glance from Prompto, Noctis looked down at his own bag, holding it open and examining the candy he got.

While he assessed, he heard Prompto murmur a gentle, “c’mon, Noct!  We can’t start trading until you tell me what you got!”

Again, Noctis laughed as he glanced back up from the bag. “I got Starbursts, Tootsie Rolls, and Skittles,” he answered, meeting Prompto’s eye.

“W-T-F!” Prompto announced each letter like it was its own word, pulled off his witch hat, and then crossed his arms at his chest with a huff. “Starburst and Skittles?! They only give you all the good candy because you’re the stupid Prince of stupid Lucis.” His pout got even more dramatic as he looked back down to his own bag.

Gathering several of the mini-packages of Starburst, he transferred them over to Prompto’s bag.  This whole trick-or-treating adventure had been his idea anyway, and Noctis’ dad would probably go through the roof if he came back with a completely full pillowcase of candy.  His assassin hood came down and he met Prompto’s eye. “Feel better now?”

Prompto still pouted. “A little. I’d feel even better if you gave me some'a those Skittles,” he announced.

With a laugh, Noctis plucked a small bag of Skittles from his trick-or-treat bag. “These Skittles? Right here?” His eyes danced mischievously when he asked, his lips quirking into a lopsided grin.

“Uh huh,” Prompto agreed.

Noctis made a dramatic show of tearing the red wrapping from the candy and then dropping one, two, three of the multicolored candies into his hand.  Again, his mouth quirked up into a smirk as, one at a time, he dropped the three candies into his mouth. “You want ‘em,” he spoke around a mouth of tiny rainbow candies, “come and get ‘em.  Taste the rainbow, Prom.”

Now, Prompto’s grin was as wide as Noctis’. “Using candy as a ploy to get me to kiss you,” he teased, his voice gently chiding.

“S'it workin?” Noctis asked as he added three more tiny candies to the mix.

Instead of replying with words, Prompto leaned over, smirked, and pressed his lips to Noctis’.  Happy Halloween, indeed.

Hey everyone, I usually leave stuff like this for my main but I figured you all deserve an update

I've been having hip and back pain on-and-off for a while, almost three years now? Didn't think it was anything serious, I just thought it was a result of me not getting enough exercise. But several weeks back mom noticed the heel of my right shoe was wearing down faster than the left, at an odd angle to boot (no that was not an intentional pun), and was concerned that it would get worse. Yesterday we went in for a chiropractor's appointment and they did some x-rays; turns out I have a bulging disk in my lower back that's shifted my hips out of place, and if I ignored the pain it would've ruptured in a few years and require surgery to fix 😬

Doc says we caught it in time, but I still have to be careful and limit the amount of strenuous activity I do during treatment, which means I won't be able to go out and do many Furby photoshoots for the time being. I'll still be here, don't worry! I just won't be posting many outdoorsy pics unless it's during a drive or on the way to class until my bones are properly rearranged

The Bun Bar was first introduced in the 1920s. They eventually developed three distinct flavors which included vanilla, maple, and of course caramel. - This tasty treat was first created by Herman Herer in 1912, which makes this particular candy treat over 100 years old! Now that’s a long tenure indeed. After creating the candy, Mr. Herer sold the rights to Schwarz & Sons of New Jersey and ultimately, the rights were sold to Victor Bonomo in 1936. - Who knew that you’d be enjoying this brand long after the “now” of your youth? Here is yet another brand of candy that is offered by the Ferrera Candy Company, and although there isn’t an ounce of chocolate in sight, that didn’t stop this candy from getting quite popular since its inception in 1962. - Probably, as we look back at all this candy, the thing that astonishes us most is not the fact that a lot of these brands are still around, but maybe it’s at how much the prices for this stuff has gradually changed over the years. - This candy has quite the storied past, and although it currently doesn’t exist any longer, have no fear, because it’s coming back, and sooner than you think. Not all were fans of this particular candy, and we can more than understand why. - “What if I told you I could slap 100 Grand into the palm of your hand as if it was nothing at all?
