So I have a concept for a TMNT show where instead of focusing on the Turtles, we follow the Mighty Mutanimals. So the show is all about the Mutanimals and there adventures.

Here’s my cast:

Slash - the leader

Leatherhead - the medic (also the one who put the team together)

Mona Lisa - tech savvy/weapons expert

Alopex - the fighter (the one not afraid to get her hands dirty)

Koya - the scout/recon (also the loner)

Mondo Gecko - the wild/unpredictable one

The Turtles would still make appearances, but they would be more of just side characters who appear every once in a while, and sometimes it’s only one of the them (all four on rare occasions). Like, they’re off doing their own thing fighting the Foot Clan, but we follow the Mutanimals with their own battles/adventures.

Every single TMNT 2012 AU I have (so far):

Turtles In The Roaring 20s - In 1923, Splinter is the proud owner of the most popular underground jazz club in New York, with his four sons being the stars. However there’s family drama going on backstage.

Mission Failed - The Turtles and friends failed their 6 month mission to save the Earth from the Triceratons. 10 years later, the team as split up going their separate ways but are all still haunted by their biggest failure.

Mistress Millennium - I don’t really know if this counts as an AU, it’s just a “what if Renet became a villain?” story.

Salamandrian April AU - April gets captured by the Kraang as a child but it rescued by Sal Commander. To hide her from the Kraang, April grows up on Salamandria along side Mona Lisa where they train together and become like sisters.

Future AU - The Turtles and their friends are now all grown up. Some are married, some have kids of their own and others have successful careers/lives. The story follows their adulthood while also preparing the next generation of the Hamato Clan.

Princess Bride AU - When Kintaro is stuck in bed sick his friend Usagil decides to visit and read him a story about adventure, action, miracles, and true love between a turtle and a lizard.

Actor AU - It’s all a TV show in their world and everyone are just actors. Fun stuff happens behind the scenes when filming TMNT.

Medieval AU - Splinter is the King of the Hamato Kingdom. The Turtles and Miwa are the prince/princess of the kingdom. After Splinter mysteriously dies and Miwa missing, Leo must find a wife and prepare to become king within a year.

Mazes & Mutants - The roleplaying game is now real! A world of fantasy and adventure as the Turtles and friends travel the land, exploring and fighting evil beasts.

Teenage Mutant Monster Turtles - Everyone is a monster (Leo a mummy, Raph a vampire, Mikey a werewolf, Donnie Frankenstein’s Monster etc), hijinx ensue.

Robin Hood AU - Raphael and Slash are the iconic duo of Robin Hood and Little John, robbing from the rich and giving to the poor, rebelling against the wick Sharif, Tiger Claw, and the greedy Prince Newtrailzer.

Human/High School AU - The title is self explanatory. Leo is class president and Mr Popular, Raph is a troublemaking jock, Donnie is a straight A student and tutors his classmates, and Mikey is a class clown.

Childhood AU - The Turtles and all their friends are kids having a big playdate together.

Greek Gods AU - Everyone is their own take on the Greek Gods, but with their own twists. (Ex: Splinter is Zeus but he is NOT a chatting scumbag)

"Tiger Claw, Fishface, Chris Bradford, Newtralizer, Shinigami, Sal Commander, and and so many more are new original characters made for this series that are now apart of the TMNT roster, instantly becoming fan favorites, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they are brought in to newer versions of the franchise in the future." *Gently holds them* It's okay babies I just know you will come back I'm sure that you will. (Tiger Claw in my opinion has maybe a high chance of coming back in rise if it ever gets picked up due to various references of him in the series. Also technically Bradford is in the series as well or??). Anyway I would just love them to come back and even other characters. I just love them a lot.

The constant references of Tiger Claw to splinter in rottmnt we’re always hilarious considering they have the same voice actor.

I also do like the Easter egg of Chris Bradford in Rise being Kristoff Van Bradford.

So that means we have two iterations of Bradford now before we got a new iteration of Tiger Claw XD I’m working on a TMNT version (that focuses on the Mutanimals not the Turtles) where TC is in it and so far I’m liking his character. I’m hoping I get to share this Mutanimals AU in the future.

It kind of relates to the topic, but I do have my own Rise version of Sal Commander. He’s a Yokai who owns his own mechanic shop in the Hidden City, and he is Mona Lisa’s father. He also has a little history with the Battle Nexus that has led to him being paranoid and very overprotective of his daughter.

ROTTMNT Arranged Marriage AU WIP

I don't think I'll ever fully write this fanfic, or maybe I will in the future who knows, but I'm loving this AU idea so I wrote something cause I was inspired. Enjoy a little WIP of Raph meeting Mona Lisa in my Arranged Marriage AU.

*Raph is trying to sneak out and run away in the middle of the night so he doesn't have to be in the arrange marriage with some girl he's never met, but he ends up getting lost trying to leave his future in-law's house*

"Okay, so where do I go from here... Ugh, I should've figured out the layout of this place before deciding to make a break for it..."

"Hey!" A voice suddenly calls out, interrupting his train of thought, "Hey you! Big red!"

"Huh?" Raph looks around, seeing no one in sight.

"Up here!"

Raph looks up, shocked to see a lizard girl dangling upside down from the tree near the house, her foot stuck in one of the branches.

"A little help?"

"O-Oh! Yeah! Hang on!"

*he helps her down*

"Are you okay?"

"I'm alright. Thank you. I'm lucky you were out here other wise I'd be- Wait a minute..." she looks at him suspiciously, "Why are you snooping around outside my home?"

"I-I wasn't snooping! I was just trying to get away from... an inconvenience..."

"Huh, well... that makes two of us."

"Really?"

She nods, "My father decided it would be a genius idea to set me up with some random guy I never met. He expects me to marry him within a month! I ain't doing that so I'm getting out of here!"

"Huh, what a coincidence. My dad is doing the same thing with me. That's why I'm here now- Wait a minute..."

The two look at each as they realize the same conclusion. "YOU'RE MY BETROTHED?!" they both scream in disbelief.

"You were trying to run away from me?!" She yells at him. "So marrying me is an 'inconvenience' to you?!"

"You were running away too!" Raph yells back. "Or is dangling in a tree from your foot a hobby of yours?!"

She takes a deep breath, "Okay, fair point. I guess we're both not happy with this arrangement our dads set up."

"Yeah... well, I mean I'm glad to know now I won't be marrying someone..." he blushes, "Unattractive."

She laughs, "What we're you expecting? A hideous giant roach?"

"...Kinda."

Where is everybody during the Mission Failed AU? What becomes of them?

So shortly after the Turtles, April, Casey and Fugitoid failed their mission to save the Earth from the Triceratons, the team broke out into a massive argument, out of grief, failure and loss.

There’s a little WIP I’ve done so far of their argument:

"If you didn't try to pull another stupid solo mission at the last minute then maybe we could've made it in time!"

"Woah dude, don't blame Leo," Casey interrupts, "He was trying to protect us from the dino freaks ships. Maybe if we didn't take so many detours just so one of us could make out with some lizard babe than we would've not fallen behind!"

"You leave Mona Lisa out of this!" Raph growls.

“If talking about any ditours, what about April?" Mikey asked.

“What about me?!"

“Everyone please, don't fight!" The professor begs.

"No!" April crosses her arms as she glared at Mikey, "Please explain to me how is it exactly it’s my fault?"

"Well… I mean… y-you did want to return the Soul Star back to the Aeons instead of going after the Triceratons when they stole one of the pieces from us…"

"I wanted to help all planets, not just ours! And besides, we had the pieces, but then Donnie had his 'crisis' and let the Triceratons get away!"

"Are you kidding me?" Donnie was shocked by April's words.

"I-I'm sorry Donnie…" April said, immediately regretting her words, "I didn't mean-"

"What? That because I'm not smart enough like the professor so it's my fault the Triceratons stole the black hole pieces from us?!" He snaps at her, "No! Raph's right. This is all Leo's fault!"

Hurtful and cruel words were said that cannot be taken back which led to everyone slipping up and going their separate ways, refusing to contact one another for many years.

Donnie continues to live with Fugitoid, staying on his spaceship. He now works as the professors assistant/apprentice, learning and advancing his knowledge in many fields of science. The duo travel the cosmos to study and explore for their next big experiments. Occasionally Donnie visit Dimension X and works with the Utrom Council too.

Leo is living out his Captain Ryan fantasy. With his brand new team of heroes. together they travel the galaxy helping neighboring planets, wanting to protect other planets for he failed to protect his own. He’s hurting but hides it all with a smile, in denial and has convinced himself that he’s fine.

Casey has become his childhood dream of being a intergalactic bounty hunter. In truth, he's living his best life and him and Mikey are the only ones who stay in contact.

Raph (along with Chompy) lives on Salamandrian. He and Mona Lisa got married and after training with Sal Commander, Raph is now a highly respected warrior on the planet, looked up to by many. He misses his brothers but no matter how many time Mona tries to convince him to contact them, Raph refuses, feeling too guilty to see them.

Mikey works at an intergalactic rest stop where alien from all over the cosmos travel just to taste his delicious foods that are all based on Earth cuisines. Casey occasionally visits him at his shop and the two catch up, together the miss the good old day when everyone was together.

The loss of her home and father broke April the most. The grief was too much that Za-Naron was unleashed. April and Za-Naron, now as one powerful being, returned to the Aeons home planet where she is now worship and seen as a powerful goddess to them.

After nearly 10 years, the team are all still grieving, some worse than others. Perhaps maybe they could all heal if the reunite again and talk this out instead of avoiding their problems.

Hello I love the intergalactic sisters Au please tell me more! I like imagining young April and Mona growing up together 🥺

Omg! Thank you! My Salamandrian April AU or Intergalactic Sisters (I’m still deciding on the title) is one of my personal favorite AUs of mine because I love the randomness of it all with the concept. I also see this as a fun way for me to explore the dynamic of April and Mona Lisa because I love these girls and I think they would’ve been best friends in the show if the writers weren’t cowards!

So for those who need context, in the AU April was captured by The Kraang when she was around 6 years old. In the season 3 episode Buried Secrets, April’s “mom” explains that when April was a little girl the Kraang attacked and wanted to take April away. Kirby and April were able to get away and leave the farmhouse, while April’s mom was captured instead.

So my idea came from: what if the Kraang got what they came for and took April away from her parents?

Apology in advance but I’m about to share a lot about this AU!

So after being kidnapped, April is held in a Kraang Prison, experimented on, unleashing, her hidden psychic powers much earlier on in her life. Eventually a Salamandrian fleet led by Sal Commander break into the Kraang prison on a hunt looking for the wanted rogue, Newtralizer, but instead Sal finds April. He breaks her out of the prison and brings her back to his home planet. He doesn’t know why the Kraang had her or why they wanted her, but his gut feeling told him it wasn’t for good intentions. Sal also did not want to take the risk of the Kraang finding her again, so he decided not to bring her back to her home planet of Earth knowing that is where they’ll be looking for her, so he lets her grow up on Salamandria.

This is how April eventually meets Mona Lisa. Mona has already been training under Sal for the past year (tying into my headcanon that Mona was placed under the care of Sal after her parents were killed in battle), so she is surprised when Sal returns from a mission bringing with him a strange looking creature with red hair. Mona and April quickly bond though because they both share a similar situation of losing their parents. Together, Sal trains are the two young girls and they become like a little family. April and Mona become the best of friends growing up together and even going as far as to call each other sisters. Also April calls Mona “Iggy”, she doesn’t refer to them as a Mona Lisa and Sal Commander because those are nicknames that the turtles give them so she refers to them by their salamandrian names only.

Growing up April was often picked on by the other Salamandrian children, because she was, well, different, but Mona always had her back, beating up anyone who tried to be mean to April. Mona is even the one that gives April brand new haircut of military pixie cut style. growing up together April with tell Mona about her planet, at least all the stuff she knew about for the only six years she lived on earth, but Mona always finds her story fascinating and the girls hope that one day April could return to her home planet and reunite with her parents, with Mona wanting to come along to her world, but at the same time April fears that she’s been gone for so long that her parents have forgotten about her.

The years go by and a two girl become skilled warriors for the Salamandrian army and Sal’s top recruits. With a Salamandrians advanced technology they were also able to help April figure out her powers and control them a lot more better so by the time she is 16 she has better control over her powers and Kraang abilities, but is still learning. Mona helps her out a lot with her powers, those kids, they used her psychic abilities to mess around with people, but as they grow older, they started to become more slightly responsible with it. but that doesn’t mean that these two girls still don’t have a devious side to them from time to time ;)

April is very open and trusting when she’s around Mona and often likes hanging on top of her or chilling on her shoulders when bored as Mona effortlessly carries her around. When it comes to actual missions, she’s serious, a little blood thirsty and quite stubborn. Because of April’s stubbornness, Mona has to be more of the level headed one, which can be a challenge for her since she can be short tempered. April is the more chaotic, one of the two surprisingly. April is also very protective of Mona, despite Mona being bigger and older than her (by a year), April has a mind said that she has already lost one family and she doesn’t wanna lose another with Mona and Sal.

So you can imagine April’s over protective nature coming out in full swing when Raphael enters Mona’s life XD

April, to Sal: Oh yes, mm hm, I’d be happy if Iggy ended up with any guy.

Mona Lisa: *walks in holding Raph’s hand*

Honestly it feels good to be working on this AU again, but I'm probably not gonna update it till Courting a Salamandrian is complete.
