Ferrero duplo Chocnut 🍫🌰 . Reviewing a non asian product this time. I wouldn’t say it’s a German snack bc Ferrero is an Italian brand I guess. This is sth like a chocolate wafer bar with a hazelnut cocoa spread or cream and whole hazelnuts in each bubble. The shape reminds me of ‘bueno’, another hazelnut based chocolate wafer snack from the same brand. (Seems like Europeans love hazelnuts, right? 😂) I actually found this one pretty good, I love the combination of chocolate and nuts, especially when there are whole nuts included. The wafer outside is crispy and airy plus the chocolate glaze outside not too thick. The thing I don’t like and this is the reason I wouldn’t necessarily want to try it again is the chocolate cream inside. That makes the whole bar too sweet and I don’t get why you still have to fill in MORE chocolate although there’s already chocolate outside 👀😅. I’d always scratch out the cream, using it as a spread for bread 😆. Another maybe less sweet filling would be much better here. Comparing this one with ‘bueno’ I’ve mentioned before, I’d definitely prefer ‘bueno’ cause the cream inside is nougat instead.
