I do kinda need an explanation as to when the Frost Monarch was called Hockwan.

Cuz it's not in SL R if I'm being honest... unless it's a Fangtooth=Raikan situation...

And then there's the LN in Korean which I've yet to read...

Ok hear me out, Frost monarch(Solo leveling) x Endeavour(Bnha). I f I have to live with this thought you have to too.

I've been thinking about this pairing for a long while, but I can't figure out how to make it work.

The frost monarch is extremely arrogant to those who he deems as inferior to him in power... aka all humans. Endeavor doesn't impress him. It's good that he's efficient when fighting, but it's not like he's going to have much of a fight if he ever gets into a fight with Endeavor. There's no fun battle banter or playful fighting for the two to start some chemistry. It's more along the lines of wham, bam, Endeavor is knocked out (if not dead) and the frost monarch continues with his day.

The frost monarch is also extremely cowardly in face of opponents who are stronger than him... Endeavor doesn't like cowards and he's willing to keep fighting even if/when his enemy is far stronger than him. Worse, the frost monarch is cocky when assured of his victory but he becomes panicked and reckless when he thinks he's losing.

I just feel like all those traits would be extremely off putting to Endeavor.

Then again, if we don't think about this rationally, if we don't treat this crack seriously... those traits would be fucking hilarious if/when Endeavor and Frost Monarch get into arguments.

When the two are arguing about which way the toilet paper should be placed, the Frost Monarch starts panicking and saying weird/stupid shit when he thinks he's losing the domestic argument against Endeavor. But when he thinks he's regained ground and is winning... he's cocky AF and Endeavor wants to punch that smirk off his husband's face.

Also just imagine when the Frost Monarch is impatient for Endeavor to return home (for whatever reason... like dealing with a crying baby), he shows up to Endeavor's current villain fight, knocks out all the villains and bystanders, and dragons Endeavor home. The Frost Monarch doesn't like fighting / unnecessary fights, but crying babies are worse. Done.

Endeavor has to deal with the internet calling his husband a sexy silver fox and thirsting over "daddy".

When Frost Monarch panics, he tends to make overly grandiose statements. He wanted to kill Sung Jinwoo before Jinwoo became a real threat and attempted to recruit the other monarchs into this plan. So with this logic, he would 100% be on board with sabotaging new heroes entering the pro-hero industry, going overboard with applying pesticide to his lawn, and murder that rising hero named Hawks who seems to have a Thing for Endeavor.

There is no specific of what are humanoid creatures and demonic spectres so idk what Yoggumunt and Tarnak really rule over

Antares, Yoggumunt, Queresha, Ashborn, Baran and Legia are the only names that appear on the Solo Leveling Light Novel

Sillad, Raikan and Tarnak are named in the sequel Solo Leveling Ragnarok

Dragon King by technicality the LN translations use Dragon Emperor as well. Depending on what translation you use tho.

Queresha's title is sometimes translated as king of insects instead of queen.

Edit: Its possible, the Beast Monarch's name is Laikan instead of Raikan since the L and R arent seperated sounds in Korean.

Idk as for Hockwan, but in the manhwa (ch 111) Frost Monarch was addressed as 혹한 (hoghan) by Yogumunt [혹한 seems to mean 'extreme cold' and basically, Frost Monarch in Korean is 혹한의 군주]
