   he doesn't actually go to meet her in the doorway of his room. takes two, three steps, before his hand finds the border of his bed, rests against wood. it's not so much hesitance as it is a full stop, break finding his footing after swaying a little from the quick rise from his bed. he's hurt. they're not in the woods, they're not in any memories. the air is the same, the floor is the same. if he took a step backwards, he'd fall back onto the mattress.

Angst train back but not with angst

Okay hear me out

Imagine just being out an about in Hisui, doing whatever. When you come across a new Pokémon you haven’t seen before but heard about from a certain professor. From what you heard about this new Pokémon is called an Applin. If you remember correctly these aren’t common in this region but more so in Galar, which is where Professor Laventon from. You get the idea that you’ll catch it and give it to the professor as a gift since he’s more familiar with it. Forgetting the second half of what Laventon have told you about Applins. Off you go and rush to the professor’s location. Calling out to him when you’re close by. He’s happy to see you but wonders what’s the rush. You happily tell him you caught him a Pokémon, which surprises him. It surprises him even more when he sees it’s an applin. Laventon looks to you, to the applin, then back to you and asked “d-did you really catch this for me”. With a soft look and a warm smile you just reply “you’re the first person I thought of when I caught it”. With that the professor turns the brightest red, not sure what to say and stumbles over his words until he lets out a stuttery “t-t-thank you” before giving you a tight hug and a follow up of “ I‘ll cherish this applin forever”. Glad he accepted the applin you hug back. Soon you had to be on your way to finish whatever you were doing before and Laventon politely asked if afterwards you’d like to head to the Wallflower together. You accepted the offer before you were on your way. Back in the wilderness you suddenly get hit with the memory of the second half of what Professor Laventon told you about Applins. Applins are used to confess your love for someone. You crumple to the ground in a blushing mess realizing you just confessed on accident and Laventon feels the same.

I’d have #more than normal dollars. maybe it’s because I’m short or quiet or because I raised myself to be paranoid everyone was going to kill me so i #was always training myself to be quiet and still and have subtle movements and stuff? #idk. the superpower vanishes instantly if I am on break and trying to get to the back room hahaha. then EVERYONE HAS WUESTIONS. which I get #in trouble for because I ‘dawdle’ (helping customers) #okay….I’m procrastinating something so… perhaps I should do the thing I do not want to do #IF I am FAST! me: hmm, I see a lot of flaws in this thing I’m working on, and I could spend the extra time and effort to go through and fix all of them but, I guess it’s good enough, I’ll just be done with it how it is, errors and all 

me also, literally the next day viewing what I made and noticing the flaws that I knowingly left there but still somehow being utterly shocked and disgruntled by the fact they didn’t just disappear on their own somehow:
