i'm using cafeastrology for a little help with a few aspect i wanted to take into consideration here (i still don't really know how to read aspects). have aleksi and joel for now, will do the others another time 👀

aleksi: his venus in sag signals that he wants to feel free in his relationships; doesn't mean he won't commit, but that they must help him grow and enrich his life, opening broad horizons. he has strong ideals concerning relationships (philosophical side of sag) and his sense of humor is very fascinating (carefree side of sag). he never wants to feel bored, stuck or have a dull partner. he wants to experience new things with you. his mars in sag suggests that in bed he's a fun and open minded lover. don't forget the great scorpio energy that comes with three scorpio placements: he's very intense, passionate, once he commits he'd die for you, he's sensual as hell and he'd take advantage of that. there's an aspect (sextile) between his moon and lilith, which highlights his charm and intelligence, also giving him the emotional intelligence to accept his strong feelings.

also unrelated but i find it funny that his lilith is in virgo, considering he seems to find his perfectionism a major flaw (totally something a lilith in virgo native would say)

joel: he has venus in virgo, which means he's a "quiet" lover; doesn't try to impress you with grand gestures, but via silent acts of love that lie in details. he can be quite shy and insecure in love, and needs constant reassurance. he's willing to please. he's reserved and has trouble letting himself go, especially if he thinks his love isn't appreciated. he has this aspect (trine) between venus and uranus which means (i had no idea) that he can fear losing his freedom with relationships and that he can get tired quickly; he's very romantic, even if he appears detached; his sexual preferences are unconventional (WE KNOW) and he won't be happy with someone who limits his sexual expression. he values tolerance. another aspect suggests that he's very giving and generous but also rather passive. his mars in scorpio suggets that joel is on the dominant side in bed (scorpio=desire for power, mars=planet of sex) BUT I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THIS, there must be an aspect debunking this i swear, and that he loves engaging in taboos. another aspect i found interesting: opposition between moon and pluto. it means he tends to attract intense partners and since he's so insecure and fears losing control, there could be a lot of jealousy and possessiveness.

Flora does everybody’s hair. She is extremely good at it – it might have something to do with all the practice she’d had making flower-crowns as a child. Stella always goes to her when she wants a particular hairdo for a special occasion. In turn, she does Flora's nails and helps her with her outfit.

Stella, Musa, and Aisha go clubbing together. They know all the best places in Magix and they are known there. All the barmen know their usual drinks - which are often on the house.

Musa helps Tecna with coding: Tecna develops whatever videogame she's working on, and Musa provides the perfect soundtrack. They're thinking about using their combined skills in the future for profit.

Bloom and Flora run a bookclub. It's just them at the moment, 'cause the other girls don't have the patience for it. Still, they gather once a week under Flora's favorite tree and discuss their readings with a cup of tea.

Tecna helps Stella run her social media. She's also invented a device that can alert her of the presence of paparazzi, and that has saved Stella from being caught in embarrassing situations more than once.

Aisha and Stella teach Bloom how to be the perfect princess: Stella deals with everything related to style, proper behavior, how to do the perfect curtsy; while Aisha tells her about her duties and how to carry them out.

Musa loves experimenting with bold make-up looks. All the girls are her guinea pigs, but Stella is the one who volunteers the most - and the one who complains the most when Musa accidentally pokes her in the eye with her eyeliner brush.

Aisha teaches Tecna how to swim. It's a slow process, but she's improving.

All together: they go shopping, play board games, help one another with homework, go out into town, save the magic dimension ... the usual.

How this timeline affects everyone around, what is Alessio and Giulia’s relationship like, what is Alessio like as a mob boss (and if possible to explore Noda and Bianco because Bianco has been mentioned a few times before. Just really curious 🧐)

How this timeline affects everyone around?

Well, the main cast (including Striker and Jake) are mostly unaffected by this turn of events. However, the Exes and Oohs events didn't occur because Crimson died six years earlier. Everyone involved in Crimson's Mafia was the most affected, especially Alessio, the main victim in all of this.

Jawns—borrowed from Noody_Noodles—had a bit of trouble in accepting Alessio's leadership at first because, well, he was in love with Crimson. But he did come around eventually.

GaGarret and Cecilia—characters borrowed from Wumbo Mumbo—were devastated by how things took a turn for the worse for Alessio. GaGarret, in particular, decided to work with his uncle, if only to keep an eye on him and hopefully keep him from becoming like Crimson.

Giulia's personality is, for the most part, similar to the original one. However, there's some key differences, the most notable one being that she does carry her shawl around; with Alessio in a position of power, the Yakuza didn't dare start a war with the Commission over a dolkril. Still, Alessio won't take any chances.

what is Alessio and Giulia’s relationship like

If you think Alessio is overprotective in the Helluva Dad AU, wait until you see him in this AU, where he takes it to a whole new level. Being the only member thing he has of Bianca, Giulia means the world to Alessio. She's the only light left in his life, the one thing that keeps him from completely crossing over to the 'dark side.'

Unlike her Helluva Dad AU counterpart, Giulia is aware of what her father does for a living. But Alessio still doesn't want her to get involved in the business. Regardless, Giulia is still 100% a daddy's girl, even if she does feel suffocated by her father's overprotectiveness; she doesn't know how her mother, brother, and grandmother died, and so doesn't understand that their deaths have made Alessio terrified of losing her too, which is why he's hellbent on keeping her safe.

Alessio gladly makes time to spend with his daughter, and doesn't let his work get in the way of it. While she did have a nanny for when Alessio has too much work or must leave for business, he usually takes care of her himself. In fact, everyone knows not to bother him on Giulia's birthday.

what is Alessio like as a mob boss

I'd say he's a combination between Vito and Michael Corleone. He's cunning, ruthless, and a nice strategist, but there's still certain lines he won't cross even for the same of business. Just as the Commision—the ruling committee consisting of the Dons of the Five main families—imagined, Alessio was a far more effective Don than Crimson ever was.

However, if you cross him... he makes Crimson look like a saint in that regard.

Man, I'm actually considering exploring more of this AU now!

Regarding Noda and Bianco, I haven't figured out their place in this AU just yet because I'd have to discuss it with Noodles first.

Rather than Superhero Names, the Spider Team have nicknames for each other that just stuck.

Now for the backstory;

When Luca Paguro was accepted into Geona Academy, he felt like a little pond fish placed into the ocean. But with his parent’s reassurance, Luca decided to give his new school a try.

The adjustment became easier after Luca befriended the other outcasts; Guilia Marcovaldo and Alberto Scorfano. Together, they became known as The Underdogs.

Moving forth, while the students were on a field trip to a local science lab, Alberto decided to sneak into a private room, with Luca and Giulia decided to follow him.

Inside the room, The Underdogs were all bitten by a very strange spider.

That began their path towards becoming The Spider Trio!

hello! I was wondering how is your Arabic learning coming along and I wanted to ask if you find it self studying - friendly? 👁️🤎

hiii bestie :) I'd say it's going quite well! (I think I've covered most of the topics you'd tackle at level A1 and that I might be entering level A2 - just to give you a very very approximate reference point)

self-studying has suited me very well (though I did follow a very short crash-course where I learnt some grammar and vocabulary), because the materials and resources available online (and while we're at it, un salutone agli amici della polizia postale) are quite vast ad helpful. and these days I need/prefer to go at a very relaxed pace, tailored to my daily chaos, so studying on my own has been the best decision, though I'll definitely want to follow a course at some point in the future, to improve my written/spoken interaction & pronunciation. but it's been enough for now!

so far, I've used

a little textbook on arabic script to learn the alphabet (writing each letter in its various forms and pronouncing it correctly) + some vocabulary and grammar

some pdf grammars I've somehow acquired

among which, another grammar that I mysteriously found together with its original audio files! (chef's kiss, really)

some lessons on youtube

several online translators

random insta pages about arabic culture and language

movies and tv shows in arabic

(many resources can also be found in some of the arabic language master-posts that you can find in the "arabic"/"arabic language" et. al. tags)

and I'd say that so far they've been more than enough! then, of course, I'm fully aware that in order to master a language you should study it with a professional, but I also think that in order to see if it can be your thing you can start on your own and see where it takes you. and I think that with the help of the above-mentioned resources it's absolutely feasible, so it's definitely worth a try!

Stella was born at noon, during the brightest summer day of the whole year, but the first image her eyes saw was a version of the Moon, a daughter of the Moon, one who bears the name of the Moon. Her first memory of the Moon isn’t a memory at call, because she can’t remember it, but, as soon as Luna’s and Stella’s eyes met, the former Queen’s whole body was surrounded by a pale aura. Stella, daughter of the Moon, born under the Sun.

As a child, her favorite activity was just lying on the grass in the gardens and look up at the sky. She never got tired of it, because the sky is never the same. The day sky or the night sky. Everything changes, and Stella notices. The Suns of Solaria make her smile, the Moon, the only Moon of Solaria, makes her pensive, melancholic. She is always quiet when she looks at the Moon.

The first time she notices, she runs to her mother’s room. She is only three and she has never been more scared: there is no Moon in the sky. Luna takes her in her arms and leads her to the observatory. She teaches her everything about Moon phases and how important they are for the tides, and for one’s emotions. From that moment on, Stella is always a little bit sad when she knows the waning crescent moon is just around the corner.

Moonbathing is totally a thing. Being as connected as she is to the celestial bodies, the Moon helps her heal faster and calms her down, yet her main source of life is the Sun. Too much time spent away from the Sun weakens her, and that’s why she can only spend short periods of time in Callisto, the Moon Planet, whose sources of light stem from its two Moons reflecting the light of the Solarian Suns.

What work are you most proud of (regardless of kudos/hits)?

AHAHAHAH ok so I can’t choose, so I narrowed it down to three. First up has to be, of course, my newest fic When In Venice. It is definitely one of my favorite things I’ve ever written. I’m obsessed with the dynamic between Luca and Alberto I managed to create. I really don’t know! There’s something about it. I love drunk, lethargic Luca falling madly in love with Alberto (a man, who quite literally is a complete stranger) and being confused and hesitant about it because of his true identity. That sentiment is wholly inspired by But First, Coffee by jofngve and Annie_Mantic. It’s not as prominent as I’d like, but it’s there and I think it’s the perfect drama only Luca would struggle with. He’s my special boy <3. It’s just so fun and fresh and I’m very proud of it. I really wish more people would see it, because I feel like it’s really telling of who I am as a writer ,,, if that makes any sense. I love wacky, funny, romantic stuff! And there it is :)

That aside, my second favorite fic of mine would be he looks up, grinning like a devil because…. Come on. It’s hilarious. I crack myself up. Who doesn’t love Crack Treated Seriously? I feel like I have a lot of great one-liners and prose (imagery) in there, I love the way Luca is just shamelessly horny for Alberto and how he’s made it his end-all-be-all mission to hook up with him. But the best part is Alberto’s exasperation over it. It’s solid gold and just,,, eek! Also I might be a bit biased towards it because of the memories it holds! I began writing it while on vacation in Oahu, Hawaii. I was sitting on the oceanfront view balcony of my hotel at night, watching the dark waves roll, and laughing my ass off.

Last one might be kiiiinda controversial. My (vaguely implied?) Giulberto fic, Marcovaldo Muscoli. It was written very sincerely when I was personally struggling with the same feelings as Giulia in the fic. Plus, it’s fun, it’s fresh, it’s relatable. I love to project onto these characters (did I mention that?). It talks about gender envy and identity, puberty, familial relationships in regards to adopted siblings, weird and potentially controversial feelings, that kind of thing. I love it! It’s my little black sheep! Something from the heart as a growing teen <3

What work took you the longest to write?

braised in the sand. It was written over a five month span and I completed the story before posting it. So I started writing it in March (after re-reading god only knows by secretsoup and promptly kickstarting my Luca phase all over again. Believe it or not, I got over Luca once but it yanked me back down by the reigns again 😂 I have the lovely Luca writers to thank for this <3 ((👀skypied, brunosaderogatory, The-Ressurection-3D, pinkplaidmoonshine, chemicalesbian, secretsoup, jofngve, Annie_Mantic, whalecarcass, 👋👋👋 HI)) and posted it in August. I thought having scheduled chapters would be a fun thing to try—spoiler alert: it’s not. Or at least not for me. I was too eager to post everything! Hats off to the authors out there who have the discipline to wait and schedule when chapters are posted 😅

How many WIP’s do you have in your docs for next year?

I have about two WIPS and probably a thousand unposted fics in my docs. They don’t concern me lol. I’m the type of person that starts something and obsesses over it, promptly forgetting about everything else I’ve got waiting to be finished 💀

What WIP are you taking into next year with you?

A fic called Somewhere In Northern Italy, a Luca x Call Me By Your Name AU 😂 it’s funny. And no, Luca is actually Oliver in this one💋

Alberto Scorfano. Of course. Alberto. He’s my bean. My baby. My kin. My love. My lifeline. I love to project onto him. I have some TMI personal issues? Alberto does too. I’m sad? So is Alberto.
