I completed a wing 1 Raid clear tonight. Which was rather unexpected! @feenominal had 2 spots going spare for a clear and was willing to take my total newb ass along for the run. I was in the middle of some actually exciting WvW, but I thought yaknow what? Why the hell not. So after jumping in my time machine back to 1995, I quickly downloaded teamspeak and off we went. The 10th was a pug who didn't feel like joining us in voice, but that was ok, our amazing raid leader was happy to give text descriptions!

Vale guardian was simple enough. I died lul. But they got the clear. Gorseval took a couple of runs because I totally spaced on a mechanic. I was too busy following the order of "stay up the commander's butt" and spaced on the "except for this part, you go over there" and woops. And Sabetha took a few tries, but everyone was super patient and we learned things and yeah it was really fun :) We had full embolden stacks by the end of it! But we got there. So thanks, Vintage Gaming for taking me along <3 You guys are swell.

We finished off the fun with a quick run of KO for siege turtle needs and then dinked around in a GH for a while, turning skiffs into submarines! Good times :)

Don't even get me started on Gorseval. That spirit boss conglomerate with that hot mess of a mouth? You know how much I'd want to be oozed for the satisfaction of submitting to a multi-spirit entity? To have those those appendages crawling across my body until I'm a sobbing mess? Having those tongues explore my body and holes until I crumble.

played fashion wars a little, and updated my sylvari’s look.  He was one of my Commanders during HoT and ended up twisted by Mordremoth’s corruption.  The dragon’s influence is gone, but its physical effects remain. 

One day, I’ll bother finding better lighting, maybe crank up the settings for a few minutes, and re-take the pics. Idk.

I shouldn’t be allowed the power to name the pets of my ranger. Being the Creative Person TM I am of course I’m going to give them stupid names.

It’s just so satisfying to beat people in pvp with my trusty pets Lemme Boop You (rock gazelle), Hi I’m Annoying (smokescale), Flying Turnip (jacaranda) and occasionally Hi I Can’t Aim (electric wyvern).

#gw2 #have they ever fixed the thing where the wyvern couldn't hit anything smaller than gorseval with any consistency? #mine was so notorious for launching itself in the exact opposite direction of smaller bosses that I will never call it anything else #although it was called stormtrooper for a while
