I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

Thank you to everyone who expressed interest in the funguary prints! It means the world to me 💖

It will take me a while to set everything up. I've been considering whether to use inprint or print and ship them myself, and I'm leaning towards the latter. With Etsy's latest issues, I'm going to avoid them as well. I'm planning to either use Ko-Fi or Google forms to handle orders, and then I will print out and, pack and ship everything myself. So I need to sit down, calculate the costs, as well as find the best print shop for the job. I will make a pinned post here once everything's set up and I'm ready to take orders!

I'm really thankful for all the support and kind words I've received, and knowing there are people willing to buy prints of my work makes me incredibly happy!

I think it is incredible that President Biden is actually feeling the pressure from our protests. No, he hasn't done everything he needs to and he hasn't redeemed himself for his role in all this, but the fact that he was caught on a hot mic saying Netanyahu needs a "come to Jesus meeting" about how horribly he's treating Palestinians? That's incredible. All our protests and boycotts have not been in vain. If we weren't making trouble, these governments could keep pretending that they've done no wrong- but they can't escape the blame.

It's encouraging. When you feel like our protests are falling on deaf ears, remember that McDonalds started the year with a loss of over a million dollars, Starbucks fell below it's quarterly sales and is considering closing locations, and people are paying attention- they're changing their opinions. And while these numbers may not be groundbreaking, they are the signs of real effects. Real change.

Never Shut Up About Palestine. Never let them think we are silent and complicit. Let history remember that our governments did not stand for us in this moment, and we did everything we could to make them listen.

This is Nadir! Favourite fruit: wild strawberry Favourite scent: petrichor, high quality coffee (both beans/ground and brewed), fresh rosemary Coffee, tea or hot chocolate: filtered specialty coffee, they also like herb and fruit teas. Won't turn down hot chocolate either. average sleep hours: they like to stay up late and sleep in a bit; always a bit tired no matter how long they've slept Dogs or cats: they absolutely love both but if they had to choose, then I think dogs. Preferably on the medium to large side, but they'd cherish any pet they'd happen to be responsible for, no matter the species or looks or anything. They're very fond of all living beings. Also, I like to imagine them having pet beetles. Dream trip: a wild beach by the Baltic Sea. Or a quiet place in the mountains, especially in winter with a lot of snow. Or anywhere with interesting architecture. Amount of blankets: they always have to sleep under something, no matter how hot it is. So an empty sheet at least. In the winder, either a really warm comforter or an endless pile of thinner comforters and blankets. They get cold easily. Random facts:

prefers to keep their distance from others

they like to seem distant or even a bit intimidating, but they're actually very soft-hearted

they're kind and try to see the best in others, to a point of being naive - they're aware and frustrated by this, but can't help it anyway

would rather listen than talk most of the time

gets excited over seeing a pigeon, no matter how many pigeons they've already seen today

same with other city birds, bugs, dogs and cats

plants get them excited too, as well as mushrooms or cool rocks

likes to bake in their free time (and they're pretty good at it)

this day (march 16th) 21 years ago (2003), american activist rachel corrie was crushed to death by an israeli bulldozer while she protested the demolition of palestinian homes in rafah. she was 24. this april, she would have turned 45.

Sandra Jordan wrote in The Observer that because Corrie was American her death attracted more attention than the deaths of Palestinians under similar circumstances: "On the night of Corrie's death, nine Palestinians were killed in the Gaza Strip, among them a four-year-old girl and a man aged 90. A total of 220 people have died in Rafah since the beginning of the intifada. Palestinians know the death of one American receives more attention than the killing of hundreds of Muslims." while we honor corrie's sacrifice, we must remember what she fought for. you can read her emails from rafah about her experiences in palestine at the rachel corrie foundation for peace and justice, organized by her parents cindy and craig who continue her work.
