theo is also very expressive with his emotions, so to see someone who also can't hide them is so endearing to him.

intak, your laugh

intak immediately finds his eyes darting towards you after saying a crappy joke, just to hear and see you laugh

and omg when you do, he's never been happier. will laugh along but only because your laugh makes him so giddy. it's so bad that he recognizes your laughter from distance. he just knows that voice is coming from you.

your laugh is a perfect melody, has never failed to put him into a good mood. he's pretty proud knowing that he can make anyone laugh at his jokes, but for you? he wouldnt mind trying a bit harder

intak thinks your laugh is the most majestic melody bestowed upon this very earth ( his words not mine). when he scrolls through his camera roll to see a video of you laughing at him for losing in a game of basketball at the arcade, he needs to grab the nearest wall before his legs give out on him.

and he's so bad a hiding it. grinning from ear to ear amd eyes turning into crescents whenever he hears you laugh. ( he'll try to turn away because the sound of your laughter is still ringing in his ears and making him giggle like a school girl i front of you)

soul really adores your eyes. it's always so full of love. he usually finds himself gazing your way too often. he thinks he's being subtle but you can him bending his neck looking your way every once in a while.

but when your eyes meet he feels the cloud parting and the sun rays shining on him your eyes, finds himself gazing into your ways way too often. when your eyes meet he feels the clouds parting and sun rays bestowing upon him, his body floating to the heavens above.

looses himself too easily, whenever you're arguing and he needs to look up at you he falters. he can't argue with someone who has big beautiful eyes. whatever you say gorgeous

loves how expressive your eyes are , leaning on his hand to stare at them from afar

watches the way your eyes crinkle over the smallest things, they way they shine when he gets one of your favorite snacks!

Bf!Soul who buys you the silliest gifts whether he’s travelling or not, the type to see ads of utterly ridiculous items that would have no practical value to it and still put them into his cart without hesitation and giggles to himself when handing the package to you when it comes in, wouldn’t say a word even if you repeatedly ask him what it is, just sits and waits patiently for you to open it.

Ex: Sometimes he even goes out of his way to buy you matching accessories, but sometimes it’s the most absurd looking thing you’ll ever see. Also yk how he has 2 custom rings of his dogs? He’d 100% get custom pieces for the two of you, the design pertaining to something that only you and him understand! Would also get a few pieces with your initials engraved in the back, another little secret only you’d know about.

Bf!Soul who doesn’t like messaging you when he’s away, he absolutely will when there’s no other option but he’d much rather hear your voice, and he makes sure to tell you too! “I just missed hearing you talk to me that’s why I called, it makes me feel better, you know?” He’d also send you little texts throughout the day to keep you updated on where he is, what he’s doing, but they’d never be in great detail, you’d look down randomly at your phone and there’s just: “Baby I ate a bug!!” and “Walked head first into a pole >ヮ< I’m okay I think”

Bf!Soul who I feel like puts an incredible amount of effort into conveying his love for you, he really appreciates someone who can even help him, whether that’s guiding him into the words he can’t seem to find or just simply being patient with him. Likes cuddling into you while you play with his hair as he rambles on and on about you, what you mean to him, how lucky he must be to have found someone so reactive to his energy that not a lot of people can match in the way he feels is genuine. ♡ - always makes it to the airport perfectly on time (no getting bored or stressing because he’s timed everything perfectly)

♡ - incredible at navigating crowds and fighting to keep your place in lines for security, boarding, and deplaning

♡ - idk how but the airline always loses his luggage

♡ - you need a break from the airport chaos? dw his arms are your safe haven and he’s got a hug already queued up for you

♡ - will take the middle seat for you if you’ve been assigned it BUT he will whine about it later (good news: you can just kiss his pout off his lips and he’ll forgive you)

♡ - want help lifting your luggage into an overhead bin? luckily your big strong boyfriend is here to help! (he will accidentally smack someone in the face with it when taking it back down but shhh he’s trying)

♡ - might need your help with translating some things depending on where you’re flying out of/to (he could probably figure it all out on his own, but he likes being able to rely on you so he doesn’t have to channel all of his energy into making himself understood)

♡ - traveling exhausts him tbh but hugs and spontaneous kisses help him recharge!

♡ - equally likely to distract you from nerves by starting fun conversations or reaching out and reassuring you with physical affection

♡ - hoards the little snacks they give out on the airplane and offers them to you as surprise gifts later

♡ - watches everyone else’s screen on the plane instead of his own lol (he’s invested in the movie two rows up leave him be)

♡ - wants to switch off picking songs to listen to on the plane (or listen to a combined playlist of each of your interests) with shared earbuds bc he thinks it’s an important way to share your interests and emotions with each other

♡ - before you even ask he’s handing you a Nintendo switch controller and encouraging you to play something with him (dw he finds you adorable no matter if you’re terrible at it or if you kick his ass when it comes to gaming)

you were currently sitting in the dressing room of your boyfriend’s group, on your phone mindlessly scrolling through social media while waiting for your boyfriend to finish getting ready. you heard the door open and you looked up, immediately seeing shota and smiling before your eyes finally caught onto what he was wearing. a black cropped shirt with a transparent top covering some of it.

your cheeks instantly flushed at the sight before you cleared your throat and put your phone down. “hey!” you smiled.

“hi,” shota smiled and plopped down in the seat next to you, grabbing your hand and starting to play with your fingers.

“you nervous?” you asked him.

“hm?” shota looked up at you, noticing your blushed cheeks. “why are you blushing?” he asked, gently poking your cheek.

“what? i’m not blushing,” you quickly shook your head.

“you are!” shota replied with a smile. “do you like my outfit?” he teasingly asked.

“of course, i like it,” you answered.

“yeah, but you really like it, huh?” shota continued to tease, poking your cheek again. “you got a little crush on me~”

you let out a little laugh, letting him poke your cheek. “we’re dating, shota.”

“i know!” he smiled. “but you still have a crush on me.”

“well, yeah,” you smiled back. “i think that's like, the minimum requirement to date someone.”

“true,” shota nodded, shifting to lean his head on your shoulder and continue to fiddle with your fingers. “but it looks good, right?” he smiled up at you.

“of course it does,” you replied, smiling back down at him. “your stylist did wonders with this outfit.”

shota chuckled lightly and nodded again. “right! i’m glad you like it! it really does look good on me, but i was a little worried at first when i put it on,” he admitted.

“ah,” you wave your free hand like it was nothing. “there's nothing to worry about, shota. you look good in everything you wear.”

“thank you!” his smile grew as he gazed up at you. “oh my gosh! you know what we should do after i’m done with today?” he slapped your arm gently a few times.

“what?” you questioned, chuckling at his antics.

“we should have you try on the outfits!” shota grinned.

“huh?” you let out, looking at him confused. “you want me to try on your outfit?”

“yeah!” he nodded feverishly. “it would be so fun!”

“i mean, i guess, but wouldn't you get in trouble?” you asked.

“it’d be fine as long as i ask!” shota immediately responded as if he were ready for that question.

“then, i guess it couldn't hurt,” you said with a nod.

“yay!” shota cheered happily. “okay, i gotta go right now but you’ll be here when i get back?” he asked hopefully.

you nodded your head. “of course.”

“great!” shota kissed your cheek and quickly hopped up off the couch. “i’ll see you in a few hours!”

“okay,” you smiled softly at him.

a/n- LMFAOOOO SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG. also the beginning of this was write on a phone so sorry if it looks weird lmaoo.

You've been sitting on souls lap for maybe a good hour by now, his chin resting on your shoulder.

The two of you have been studying almost all day, but you gave up a while ago. Soul, however, was way more keen on continuously studying.

You sat still for the most part, the only time you would move slightly was when soul had to move himself to turn the page in his book or write something down.

Soul removed his hand from the small of your back once again and wrote something down.

“oh my god” he sighed, burying his face into your collarbone.

You lean back, his head falling from you, your lower back, hitting the desk.

“Take a break, yeah?” you whisper, caressing his neck and jaw.

"but i have to get this done." soul whispers back, earning a glare from you. he sighs. "ok fine. but! let me finish the rest of this, and then ill stop. i promise!"

"ok. sure, whatever you say." you reply doubtfully, taking your hands off his neck and put them into his hair.

soul was dedicated to begin with, but with all the added pressure from fnc and himself at that, he felt like he couldnt stop. no matter how stressed it made him, no matter how much you and keeho nagged him to stop for just a second, he insisted he needed to continue if he wanted to communicate with his peers better and all.

news flash! he didnt stop.

"what are you doing?" soul asked as he felt you parting his hair with your nail.

"if you are going to be oh so keen on studying, im gonna make it so you cant continue." you reply leaning foward again.

"y/n, i cant see"

"its almost like thats the entire point."

you comb through the left side of his hair with your fingers and twist one of the hair ties you have on your wrist around souls hair, making a little pony tail.

"oh my god are you seriously putting my hair in pigtails right now?"

"yep." you giggle doing the same thing to the left side.

"happy now?" he asks smiling.

"are you done studying for tonight?"

"honestly i dont even remember where i left off so i guess. its just gonna be hard to find-"

you cut him off. "yes or no babe."

- keeho is a very loving person, he lives giving love and receiving it (though, he enjoys the latter just a bit more.) its easy for keeho to be able to express his love in many ways, whether it be through words or actions.

words of affirmation; laying in bed cuddling after a long day and he praises you for your hard work, constantly letting you know he’s proud of you and your achievements, complimenting you as much as humanly possible, worlds best hypeman.

acts of service; letting you know that you can come to him when times get hard, reassures and gives you advice, if he wakes up before you he’ll tidy up your house, helping you cook, dries your hair when its wet, etc.

gifts; buying souvenirs on tours, giving you things from mv sets that he’s allowed to keep and giving them to you.

soul had been out on tour for a week or so, and he was coming back to korea today. you were mindlessly scrolling through your phone on your bed with the sheets twisted and crumpled, your legs tangled with your blanket halfly covering your body as you got a notification from soul. you then click it as you were excited to see what he had sent you.

you smile at your phone before turning it off and setting it aside on your bedside table. you feel the soft fabric of your blanket against your skin. the cosy, comforting feeling that gently envelopes your figure as you adjust the blanket before settling it back onto your body, providing you warmth and solace in the cold chilly night.

the next morning came as you gradually collected consciousness as you rose awake. you sat up on your bed as you leaned against the headboard of your bed as you stir awake, gently rubbing your eyes as you feel the weight of sleepiness slowly fade away.

you got up from your bed, exiting your room as you walked to the kitchen inside your apartment. you then open a cupboard as you grab a cup and some other utensils to make some tea. you then shuffled to another cupboard as you grabbed a box full of tea bags. you fill your cup with warm water as you gently hold the cup in your arms, a slight sense of comfort from the warmth of the cup. the cold sensation of your hands gradually dissipating, replaced with the tingly sensation of warmth seeping into your hands. you set the cup down on the kitchen counter as you dipped the tea bag into the water. the water subtly takes on the hue of the tea as the water turns a light brown color, gradually darkening.

the morning was silent and peaceful, the silence only interrupted by the sounds of your breathing and the sounds of the outside world, muffled by the windows that were closed. you were gently mixing the tea bag around into the water before you heard a small knock on the door.

you tilted your head as you walked over to the door. you reached for the door as you turned your keys, with a gentle pull, the door opened inwards as you were greeted by soul, your boyfriend, standing at your door frame with a plastic bag in his hands. your face lights up in joy to see him again after a while, “g’morning..” you gently spoke to him as you let him in. he still looked a little sleepy. his ruffled and messy bed hair is still visible. he walked into your apartment as he spoke gently, “i got you some things when i was on tour..” he said as he set the plastic bag he was holding in his hand on the kitchen counter. he gently peeks into it, the sounds of plastic rustling as he shows you all the different things he had gotten you. this man was quite interesting, you realise as you looked into the plastic bag, it was filled with things that weren't .. necessary? the plastic bag was filled with keychains, a plush, candy making kits, and all that stuff. you gently giggle as you look back at him, “you got me all this?” you said with a smile. he looked at you innocently as he nodded. “yeah, i got us matching keychains y'know?” he said as he grabbed a keychain from the plastic bag, and grabbed a keychain from his pocket shortly after. “see?” he was right. you both now had matching custom keychains of both his dogs, mochi and kinako :)

“Do you think that this could have worked? You and me?”

It was a risky question, but one you hadn’t been able to get out of your head for weeks. It was eating you up inside, and if you didn’t ask it now, you probably never would. The silence that followed filled the air around the both of you and it was deafening.

“I don’t know. I mean, we tried. We tried twice, and Keeho always says 'third times the charm'. So maybe we would, maybe we wouldn’t.”

This was your ex-boyfriend, but your first love. This was the boy you had loved with all your heart, the boy you had watched grow into who he is now, the boy you had always supported with everything you could give.

“One of my mates tells me about this philosophical idea she read about. She thinks it’s just to make people have hope that things could have turned out differently. It’s the idea that there are different versions of people in different universes. ”

He smiled, but he didn’t say anything. He just let you keep talking and listened to you, like he always had, whether you were together or not.

“Which means that in one universe there's a version of us that never met, in another you were always my best friend but nothing more, and in some far off universe it worked out the first time. We never had to wonder if it would work because we… we knew we’d be together forever.”

“So we’re in the one where we tried, but it never happened.”

“Pretty much, yeah. That sucks, doesn’t it. Out of all the universes to be in, we got this one.”

He took a second to think about it. The idea of alternate universes was a lot to take in, especially when it was randomly presented to you late on a Wednesday night.

“What do you think we’re like in that last universe, the one where we never broke up? Do you think we call each other every night and put our beds together in Minecraft?”

You couldn’t quite tell if he was joking or not, but that was typical of him, always trying to make you laugh, even in the middle of a semi-serious conversation. Once he told you that he did that because he thought your smile was the most beautiful thing he’d ever seen, and deep down you still hoped that was the case.

“I like to imagine that we’re planning our future. I’m stressed about university applications and you're telling me to relax, that I’ll be fine. We’re also bickering over what colour the rug should be in the living room because you think it's the perfect shade, but I am convinced that it’s too dark for the colour palette we chose.”

“If we would bicker over anything, it would be over what mugs we have on the side and which ones go in the cupboard. You want the ones we use everyday to be on display and I think that glass ones would go better with the decor."

You could picture that argument, and try as hard as you might that one did make you laugh.

“That's the only right answer! It’s not only practical, but a house isn’t a home unless you add some personality to it, and what better way to do that than with mugs!”

“I guess one thing that doesn’t change between that universe and this one is that I know you better than you know yourself.”

The wind was not the only thing that sent a shiver down your spine. It was the fact that he was right, this boy could read you like a book, you didn’t have to say anything for him to know that you were upset, or happy, or stressed, just anything. He always knew exactly what to say or do, and although you used to love that about him, now it just leaves a bittersweet taste in your mouth.

“It's way too cold for us to be out this late.” He stood up and held out a hand to help you up. “Let’s get you home.”

“Do we have to go just yet?”

This night felt perfect. It was like a bubble had formed over the two of you, blocking out any fear and anxiety, but you knew that the moment you walked through your front door, you’d have to deal with all of it.

“You hate the cold. I’m honestly surprised you’ve lasted this long without complaining.”

You just looked up at him silently pleading for him to say no. For him to sit next to you again.

“We can walk slowly, but it’s late, it’s dark and it’s cold, so I’m walking you home whether you like it or not. And I’m not taking no for an answer, so..."

This was a situation you’ve been in before. He's not going to give in. You wouldn’t either if it was the other way around, so you take a deep breath and take his hand. The feeling sends a sense of nostalgia and hope deep into your soul. There's something about holding his hand that just feels right, like it was made to fit in yours.

The walk starts off in silence, the previous conversation soaking in like winter rain into a jumper. It was comfortable but as you got closer to your house and the seconds began to tick away, there was so much that you had to say, but so little time.

Passing the bench where you spent plenty of late nights when you first started dating you just let it out. All the things you'd been meaning to say over the last few years came out all at once.

“I did love you, you know. Sometimes it's hard for me to realise that I love people because in some ways it just comes so naturally. I know I love my family and my friends, because I mean that's a given, but when it comes to like, romantic love, that's a bit harder to realise. I don’t think I truly realised I loved you until I knew it would never be the same again. You’d never put your arm around me while we talk to our friends, you'd never pick me up for late night snack runs, or send me stupid pictures when I’m having a bad day, and I really, really miss that. I miss you.”

“You love me?”

“I did.”

“Do you still love me?”

“I think a part of me always will. You were my first love. I don’t think I’ll ever stop loving you completely.”

“You were my first love too.”

You had reached your front door. The night was over. You had said everything you wanted to say, so nothing should really stop you back from going inside. You weren’t together, in theory you owed him nothing.

In reality, this boy was the first one to hold your heart in his hands and try his hardest not to let it break. He was your first love and it felt impossible to leave him. His hand in yours warmed your heart more than any blanket ever could. It just felt right to be with him, but you had to leave. This doesn’t work and as painful as it is, you just have to admit it. It would be for the best if you could find the strength to turn away.

Instead, you just look at him, admiring how his eyes shine like the stars, how he’s so young but already has laugh lines, and he doesn’t care because it means he’s lived a happy life. He was perfect, and the fact that it wasn’t meant to be broke your heart into smaller and smaller pieces every time you thought about it.

He was the one who broke the silence first.

“Can I kiss you? One last time to say goodbye?”

“Yes. Yes, you can.”

Breaking apart neither of you really knew what to say. You were both so different from the people you were when you first met, but the moment after you broke away it was as if nothing had changed. You were back to being those nervous kids again, whose cheeks got warm every time you held hands because it was all so new.

“I love you.”

“I love you too, Shota.”
